There were dissenting voices too; Sun Decai glared at Lin Tian and bitterly said, "Why should he steal the spotlight? He used to be just a nobody that I could trample underfoot, less than a dog!"
Bai Yuze, more scheming than Sun Decai, just sneered, "Think about yourself. You stole your brother’s woman. Given Lin Tian’s character, the fact that he hasn’t retaliated against you yet... I think you’re in a precarious situation."
Qi Jing lowered her head, her gaze complex and tinged with a bit of loss.
"How could he retaliate? If he has the guts, let him co and kill . Hmph, once my dad’s big plan succeeds, what good is beating ? I’ll still crush him with money!" Sun Decai spoke coldly, seemingly unafraid.
"Death? Sotis death isn’t the worst punishnt. Perhaps bankrupting your family, maybe leaving you with nothing—those things your dad has done, hehe..." Bai Yuze chuckled, but left his aning unspoken.
"I don’t think Lin Tian will be pleased for long," Futian Shenyi laughed.
The group wasn’t far from Lin Tian; though they spoke softly, Lin Tian still heard them and saw everything.
Lin Tian was indifferent to Qi Jing’s reaction; he was more interested in the big plan of Sun Decai’s father, considering Sun Hai was a shareholder of the Xiao Group.
While the crowd was still buzzing, Li Wenrong’s henchman who had fallen finally got up.
But, as he stood up and regained his composure, he suddenly shouted at Lin Tian, "Why did you dodge!"
"Are you crazy?" Lin Tian said coldly, staring at the henchman as if he were a fool.
Indeed, there are such odd people in the world. You throw sothing at them, yet they expect you not to dodge and just take the hit.
