"Dissipated? Was it instant-killed with just one move?" Lin Tian couldn’t believe that the Shishen had been dispatched so easily.
"A sealed Shishen was ant to dissipate long ago; its existence was rely prolonged due to the seal. Even if you hadn’t dispersed it, it wouldn’t have lasted more than an hour," said Ning Luoxi.
"This is bad; the Gu Cultivator is still hiding. I need to release a few more to see if he keeps hiding." Lin Tian said with ill intent, shifting his gaze to the other shrines. He ignored the Japanese, moving towards the second shrine.
This ti the man with sunglasses didn’t wait for Lin Tian to make a move and rushed up to block his way.
"You, stop!" the man with sunglasses commanded in very stiff Chinese.
Lin Tian sneered and said, "If you can beat , I’ll naturally stop. If you can’t, any other words are pointless!"
With that, he threw a punch at the man’s head. Wearing sunglasses in the dead of night, Lin Tian had long found him unpleasant to the eye and was intent on smashing those sunglasses.
"Hmph, I’m no ordinary samurai," the man with sunglasses snorted coldly, crossed his arms, and surprisingly caught Lin Tian’s punch.
As the man with sunglasses caught Lin Tian’s punch, he swiftly changed his fist to a claw and grabbed Lin Tian’s arm. With a twist and a toss, Lin Tian was flung into the air, his feet leaving the ground.
Human strength relies mostly on the earth to be effective, and during combat, being thrown into the air is the last thing one wants—as helpless as a lamb to the slaughter.
The man with sunglasses had already sunk his weight and gathered his power, his hands poised at his sides like eagle claws, waiting for Lin Tian to fall down so he could tear him apart.
Unfortunately for him, Lin Tian was not among those most people; he was a zombie. His power lay in his undead body, able to burst forth without needing leverage. The man with sunglasses bellowed, his aura surging as he ford a circle with his arms and surged upwards, like a red sun breaking through the confines of sea and sky, heading straight towards Lin Tian’s teor Burst.

It sounded like the bombing runs of an aerial assault. At the point of impact between the fist and palm, the air was violently compressed, followed by a visible shockwave spreading outwards in all directions. The flagstone where the man with sunglasses stood shattered, sending fragnts flying.

It wasn’t that she couldn’t withstand the shockwave, but Kikuchi Mika lying on the stone steps couldn’t. As a normal person and so close to the action, even a secondary blast or a small stone could severely injure her.

Suddenly, a yellowish-brown light barrier appeared before the three ladies, and both the shockwave and the shattered stones hit the light barrier, causing only a few ripples and failing to break through it.
The other Japanese had taken cover at a distance, saving them from a calamity, as the collision would have been catastrophic with heavy casualties.
After colliding with the sunglasses-wearing man, Lin Tian perford several backflips utilizing the recoil force and landed steadily on the ground. The sunglasses man fared much worse than Lin Tian; he was like a stake hamred into the ground, piercing through the flagstones and burying up to his thighs.
The man with the sunglasses was hit hard, and he hung his head without moving, seemingly having passed out.
"Miss Luoxi, take Kikuchi Mika up there; this guy isn’t dead yet," Lin Tian called out to Ning Luoxi. Ning Luoxi and the Heavenly Master Girl exchanged glances, then pulled Kikuchi Mika up to the platform, each taking a corner with the group of Japanese.
Lin Tian had thought that the previous strike would have crippled the man with sunglasses, yet despite being pinned to the ground, the man didn’t even spit out blood.
The regret Lin Tian had was that he couldn’t unleash his teor Burst to its limit from above due to the distance; otherwise, the outco could have been different.
"Hey, you’re no match for , call out your Lord Gu quickly, or I’ll release all the shishen here imdiately!" Lin Tian shouted at the sunglasses man.
"Hehehe..." The man with sunglasses let out an unpleasant laugh like a night owl, which sent shivers down the spine. When his laughter subsided, he added, "When my master cos, your ti to die will arrive. For now, let have so fun with you, hehehe..."
Master? Lin Tian was startled; the sunglasses man actually referred to Lord Gu as his master. Even the most respectful Japanese called him only Lord Gu.
Lin Tian was not unfamiliar with such a term, as the half-zombies he encountered previously referred to the Gu Cultivator in the sa manner. This could only an one thing – the sunglasses man was an experintal subject modified by the Gu Cultivator using Gu worms!
As for whether this was a half-zombie or so other monster, Lin Tian couldn’t tell, unless the man with sunglasses showed his true form.
Suddenly, the sunglasses man lifted his head, his eyewear long shattered by the impact. Lin Tian could see the sunglasses man’s eyeballs were filled with blood vessels, which increased more and more until they turned blood-red.
Dammit, another half-zombie, Lin Tian cursed under his breath. He could tell that this half-zombie was much more powerful than the ones he’d encountered before, as the man with sunglasses had almost finished transforming but managed to control the violent aura in his body with very little of it leaking out.
That is to say, the man with sunglasses was almost conscious, not as crazed as the previous ones, making this half-zombie even more difficult to handle.
With a "snap," the man with sunglasses placed his hands on the flagstones and sprang up, leaping out of the hole and standing opposite Lin Tian.

"It turns out to be a zombie!" the Heavenly Master Girl exclaid from the platform, frowning. Then, with a swift motion, she moved behind the man with sunglasses, encircling him with Lin Tian from front and back.
The duty of a Demon Exterminating Master is to slay demons and exorcise zombies, and they are most sensitive to zombies. As soon as the sunglasses man transford, the Heavenly Master Girl couldn’t help but prepare to intervene.
