"Ever heard of ’boiling a frog in warm water’?" Lin Tian countered. Of course, they had heard of it, but they didn’t understand what Lin Tian ant.
Lin Tian didn’t intend to let them answer before explaining, "If he’s not anable to a buyback all at once, we’ll do it in several rounds, slowly boiling him until it’s too late for him to realize what’s happening."
"We’ve tried that before. If it were feasible, we would have done it already," Miss said disappointedly, having thought it was so brilliant solution.
"Don’t be in such a hurry, let finish. Have you heard of stock dilution?" Lin Tian asked calmly.
"Of course, I’ve heard of it. When the group takes on new shareholders, the existing shareholders must distribute a portion of their shares to the new shareholders according to the investnt agreent. As a result, the original shareholders’ portion of shares diminishes. That’s one form of stock dilution," Miss explained, clearly familiar with the financial concept as the group’s president.
"So, you’re suggesting the Xiao Group take on new shareholders?" Miss asked in return.
"That’s right. Currently, the Xiao Family owns eighty-five percent, Sun Hai ten percent, and the remaining five percent is held by various small shareholders. If we were to add new shareholders, suppose the Xiao Family distributes five percent and Sun Hai also distributes five percent, the other small shareholders need not change their holdings."

She paused and then added, "The rule is simple, no matter how much the Xiao Family’s business grows, we must maintain the sa structure of ownership. "That’s why the Xiao Group isn’t a publicly listed company as a whole; only so subsidiaries are independently listed, a decision influenced by this rule," Miss explained.
"How can there be such a strange rule?" Lin Tian exclaid.
"Besides the Xiao Family, the older generation of the current few shareholders were originally close to my grandfather. They were each a Store Manager with control over one area, making significant contributions to the Xiao Family.
