Xiao Manxue, upon hearing this, had her cheeks blaze with crimson. Suppressing her wildly thumping heart, she huffed, "You’re being indecent again, spouting nonsense. I really am not talking to you anymore."
And with that, she really did trot off, only relaxing slightly once she was far enough away, fearful that Lin Tian had seen her blush.

Lin Tian’s adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed, "gulp." Now, it would take all of his focus to still his stirring mind. He dared not make any reckless moves and stood silently by the bed, worried that a closer approach might make him lose control and commit the sin any man might.
