Albrecht’s voice cut through the charged air, stern and demanding.

"What is that technique?"

Julian raised his head slowly, his expression sharp and cold.

"A walking corpse like you doesn’t need to know."

Before Albrecht could respond, Julian vanished from his line of sight, then reappeared right in front of him, his fist slamming toward the general’s face with brutal speed. Albrecht barely had ti to raise his arms in defense as the blow connected, sending shockwaves through the ground.

They clashed hard, blow for blow, muscle against muscle, force against will.

Julian’s fists crackled with lightning as he unleashed a barrage of electrified punches, channeling power into orbs of lightning that hovered around him like unstable satellites. With a flick of his hand, the orbs shot toward Albrecht in rapid succession.

"Tch." Albrecht gritted his teeth and activated his command.

"Disappear, lightning."

The orbs fizzled out mid-air, vanishing as if they’d never existed.

Julian rushed in again, but this ti, instead of charging directly, he slipped into the shadows beneath Albrecht’s feet and reerged behind him.

Slice.

A sharp line of blood traced across the general’s back.

Albrecht let out a growl, spinning around and retaliating with a powerful strike, but Julian was already moving, gathering lightning once again, compressing it into a spear of raw energy.

He hurled it.

Albrecht’s eyes narrowed.

"Vanish, again."

The bolt dissolved.

But Julian was ready. The mont the lightning faded, he was already in motion, shadow tendrils rising from the ground, forming a piercing spike aid directly at the general’s chest.

Impact.

The shadow blade stabbed into him, drawing blood.

Julian took a step back, eyes cold and calculating.

"Your skill... has a delay. Around ten seconds between each command. Am I right?"

Albrecht stood tall, despite the wounds. His eyes glead, not with anger, but respect.

"Impressive. That combat intuition, your analysis... it’s far above average. Who trained you?"

Julian cracked his neck with a grin.

"I’m self-taught."

He lunged again without waiting.

But suddenly—

"Stay there... for now."

Three words.

The command hit harder than before. Julian froze mid-swing. His body locked in place, refusing to move.

Albrecht walked forward slowly, breath steady.

"I can’t win like this. Not with a body this fragile."

"Awaken my potential"

Then, sothing shifted.

Beneath his skin, sothing writhed, twisting and mutating.

Muscles thickened, his veins pulsed unnaturally. His body was changing, evolving, like sothing monstrous had awakened inside.

Julian grit his teeth, his body still frozen under the weight of the command.

Damn it... I have to break free—

With sheer will, Julian forced himself out of the stasis, his shadow flickering violently before he surged forward again.

But Albrecht was ready this ti.

His newly evolved arm t Julian’s attack mid-air, and countered. One strike was all it took to send Julian crashing back, his body skidding across the broken floor like a ragdoll.

Albrecht’s voice echoed, low and smug.

"My strength is now multiplied many tis over."

Julian, battered but still breathing, forced himself up, blood trickling from the side of his mouth.

"You should’ve hit when you told to stop..."

The general tilted his head, almost amused.

"That would’ve been boring."

Julian’s eyes narrowed, lightning sparking at his fingertips.

"Then that’ll be your biggest mistake."

Without warning, he shot forward like a bolt unleashed, his entire body coated in flickering electricity. His punch landed squarely on Albrecht’s chest, but—

Crack.

It didn’t even leave a scratch.

"Harden my skin," Albrecht muttered calmly, his body shimring like reinforced steel.

Julian clicked his tongue and leapt back, too late.

"Disable your shadow."

Those words hit like a commandnt. In an instant, the shadows around Julian disappeared, cut off from him completely.

"What the—"

Boom.

A brutal fist slamd into Julian’s ribs, launching him across the room. He crashed hard into a crumbling pillar, coughing blood.

"Crush your heart," Albrecht said next.

Julian froze.

But nothing happened.

Albrecht’s brows drew together.

No reaction... That ant one thing, His willpower is resisting it.

"Tch... his ntal resilience is still intact."

Fueled by adrenaline and sheer hatred, Julian surged up and blocked the incoming punch just in ti, countering with a lightning-coated hook straight to Albrecht’s jaw.

Impact.

Albrecht stumbled a step. But only for a second.

Then—

"Explode from within."

Julian’s eyes widened.

Suddenly, a sharp pain ripped through his insides. His body convulsed, then boom, an internal burst of energy exploded within him, blasting out in a wave of blood and smoke. He dropped to one knee, choking, limbs trembling.

And then ca the final blow, a ruthless punch from Albrecht that sent him crashing down again, body twitching from the trauma.

"Fear and submit."

The command thundered from General Albrecht’s mouth, cold, absolute.

But Julian didn’t flinch. He roared through the pressure, electricity crackling wildly around his body as he slamd his fist into Albrecht’s jaw.

Boom!

The general staggered for half a second before spitting blood and shouting again,

"Stop all movent."

Julian’s body froze mid-swing. His limbs locked. His breath halted.

And then, crack!

Albrecht’s brutal fist collided with Julian’s ribs, sending him crashing to the ground.

Blood pooled at his lips, but Julian didn’t stay down.

He refused to.

His voice, hoarse but defiant, rasped out,

"I’m not done... I will win."

With eyes burning with thunder, Julian raised one trembling hand toward the heavens. The clouds above twisted and churned.

Lightning began to dance.

A storm was coming.

Seeing the rising threat, Albrecht lunged forward—

But in that instant, Julian’s shadows shot up from the ground, wrapping around the general like black chains.

"Stop all movent." Albrecht barked again.

But Julian moved.

Through sheer will, his body defied the command. His eyes narrowed, locked on the sky.

Then it ca.

A blinding column of lightning tore down from the heavens—

CRAAAAACKK!

It obliterated the battlefield, engulfing everything in a blinding white storm. The world seed to stop.

But Julian stayed alert. He knew Albrecht wasn’t done.

He only had five seconds.

"Five seconds," Julian muttered, panting. "That’s the delay... I have to strike first."

"Amplify my strength."

Albrecht’s form burst forward, faster, stronger. But Julian was ready.

They clashed mid-air, fist to fist—

And then Julian disappeared in a flicker of shadow and lightning.

BAM!

He struck from behind—

CRACK! from the side—

SLAM! from above.

"Disable your shadow."

But Julian was already moving—

He abandoned the shadows and focused everything into his lightning.

His body flashed across the battlefield as he rained down electrified blows.

The final strike blasted Albrecht backward, blood spraying from his mouth as he smashed into the ground.

Julian didn’t stop. He lunged in, shadows re-erging just in ti to hold Albrecht in place.

With a roar, he gathered the full charge of his lightning into his fists, then drove them into the general’s chest.

"Harden my skin!" Albrecht shouted desperately.

But it was too late.

Julian’s fists connected, lightning surged a sickening crunch echoed through the air as blood burst from Albrecht’s mouth. He flew back, slamming into a wall, crumpling with a heavy thud.

But the general was still standing.

His body trembled, blood dripping from his mouth, but his eyes burned with that sa unyielding pride. Before Julian could react—

"Explode from within."

A surge of invisible force detonated inside Julian’s body.

BOOM!

He scread as blood burst from his wounds, his skin tearing from the inside. Pain like molten steel wracked his body, and he dropped to one knee. But he didn’t fall.

He clenched his fists. Grit his teeth.

"I’m not... done yet."

With one final push of rage and will, Julian’s lightning flared to life again, wrapping around his arms like glowing serpents. The shadows swirled with it, dancing like smoke infused with thunder.

He dashed forward—

a blur of black and blue—

His body flickered through the air like a living bolt.

And then, he struck.

His hand pierced through the general’s chest.

Straight through.

Julian’s fist stopped, buried inside the man’s torso. His fingers clenched around sothing beating.

Albrecht’s eyes widened.

Julian stared him dead in the eye and, with his voice sharp like a blade, whispered,

"Crush your heart."

For the first ti, the general’s expression changed.

Not fear.

Not pain.

But disbelief.

His lips parted, but no sound ca.

His proud, invincible body collapsed as Julian pulled his hand back, bloodied and shaking.

The mighty general, the man who ruled through fear and absolute power, finally fell.

Lying in a pool of his own blood, his chest pierced, his breath shallow...

General Albrecht let out a broken chuckle, the sound more like a rattle from a dying engine.

Julian froze, his body trembling, ready to strike again if needed.

The general didn’t get up. He didn’t even try.

But he turned his head slightly, eyes locking onto Julian with a faint, bitter grin.

"Such a sha..." he croaked, blood spilling from the corner of his mouth.

"To think... I’d fall... to a kid..."

His voice was cracked, Not with fear.

But regret.

Maybe even amusent.

Julian said nothing.

He just stared at the dying man, breathing hard, fists still clenched, electricity faintly buzzing across his bruised body.

The general coughed again, weaker this ti.

His eyelids flickered.

"Your eyes... they remind ... of soone I crushed... a long ti ago..."

He exhaled slowly, and didn’t inhale again.

The light in his eyes faded.

General Albrecht Voss... was dead.

Julian stood over him, panting, swaying, Barely able to remain conscious.

But it was over.

But the monster in front of him was finally gone.
