"Do you want to continue or settle this later?’’ Julian asked in a tone only the two of them could hear as he withdrew his fist. Aaron was about to choose the latter when suddenly the dark sky was lit up by a flash of lightning.

They all looked up as a few flashes of lightning streaked across the sky, and the wind began to pick up, bringing with it the sll of rain.

The whistling sound echoed through the air as the tree branches swayed, and the leaves rustled wildly in the wind.

"A storm is coming. Let’s enter my space!" Eva shouted over the heavy wind—her hair whipping wildly as the wind nearly muffled her words.

She didn’t have to tell them twice; Julian hurried to gather the tents into his space, and Aaron and Ethan moved their beast closer to Eva so she could take them to her space.

Thunder cracked overhead as Eva grabbed everyone and pulled them into her space.

On the other side, the wind howled, and thunder bood before beads of rain started to fall from the sky.

The rain falls on the leaves and soaks the dry ground.

Inside, it was nightti, and everyone else was already asleep in their tents.

Eva headed directly to the stream to bathe and wash away the sll of vomit from her body.

Aaron gave Ethan the sa amount of wine pods as he gave Julian.

Julian went to the chef’s tent to ask for their dinner.

Once dinner was served, everyone gathered to eat. Eva drank the hot porridge and sighed contentedly, her empty stomach warming up, and her sluggish mind clearing slightly.

She quietly finished her porridge before reaching for the main dish.

Opening the covered dish, a sll of chicken soup drifted through the air, and Eva gulped, her mouth watering as she scooped so into a clean bowl.

The rest observed the range of emotions cross her face whenever she tasted food she enjoyed.

"Eva dear, you forgot this." Julian tapped the bowl of veggies with his fork, and Eva’s face twisted slightly.

"I’ll eat it later. Focus on your food and—" Eva’s words trailed off as she looked at Ethan with a stunned expression.

Her face showed betrayal and disbelief as Ethan filled her bowl with the veggies she was trying to avoid.

Aaron held his bowl close to his face to hide his expression as he watched with trembling shoulders how his sister was forced to eat the food she didn’t like.

"Mix the vegetables with so chicken soup, and you won’t notice the taste," Ethan advised sincerely, ignoring the glares she was sending his way.

He cleared his throat and hid his face in his al as he kept eating.

Julian tactfully remained silent, his eyes shining with joy at the betrayed expression, recalling the ti he had to eat bland porridge and soups for a week after waking from his coma.

Eva looked down at her bowl, willing her vegetables to disappear, but no matter how long she looked, they stayed in her bowl.

Sighing in resignation, she followed Ethan’s suggestion, scooped a spoonful of soup, poured it into the bowl, and mixed the vegetables with the soup until everything was coated.

Closing her eyes, she took a spoonful, her face twisting slightly in reluctance before she quickly ate the rest and grabbed a fried rib to wipe the taste from her tongue.

"See, it wasn’t that hard," Julian muttered as he grabbed the food nearby.

"Easy for you to say. Didn’t you taste the bitter aftertaste that watery, ugh. ತ_ʖತ it should be banned," Eva retorted, her face filled with disapproval at his words.

at was life, fatty, mouthwatering food ever.

If her body didn’t need other stable foods for nutrients, she would only eat at until she dies.

"Alright, eat. We need to rest before our journey tomorrow," Ethan said, continuing to eat his food in silence.

Julian held back the words he wanted to say and kept eating.

They all ate in comfortable silence, and after the al, they got ready for bed.

Julian carried his pillow into Eva’s tent only to see Ethan lying on the left side of the bed.

Eva’s eyes were already heavy as she turned slightly to look at him before closing her eyes to sleep.

Julian quietly got into bed and pressed a kiss to her hair. He wrapped his arms around her waist and closed his eyes.

Silence filled the room, accompanied by the gentle rhythm of their heartbeats as they slept—a sharp contrast to the storm raging outside.

...

On Adrian’s side, the loud sounds of fighting echoed inside the dungeon.

"Anything yet!" Daniel yelled as he kept the monsters away from disturbing Adrian while he created a space tear.

"Shut up already! It’s like the eighth ti you asked that question! Let concentrate," Adrian yelled back, furious and frustrated at the constant disturbance.

He wiped the sweat from his brow and focused on imagining the other dungeon. Bit by bit, the air in front of him twisted and turned; a sharp white line appeared in midair—it was up to Adrian to channel his power and open the space.

Daniel, in the background, was locked in a fierce battle with two bone-ard monsters.

The monsters roared, shooting bone spikes from their shoulders as they slashed their claws forward.

Daniel frowned and swiftly dodged all the spikes, blocking their claws. He slashed the unprotected flesh near their chest, and a splash of blood sprayed out.

He quickly stepped away from the line of blood splatter and drove his shoulder-length sword into one of the bleeding monsters, instantly killing it.

The space tear hovering before Adrian started to open up slowly but steadily.

A line of sweat slid down his forehead as he focused on channeling his powers into the tear.

The intense focus persisted for an hour until the tear opened just enough for one person to squeeze through.

Adrian’s eyes light up; he dared not wipe his sweat and tried to force the tear open fully one last ti.

The space tear widened slightly, and Adrian caught sight of the other side. A wave of relief swept over him, but he couldn’t afford to be distracted, or all his effort would be for nothing.

"Daniel, I’m passing through!" he called out before rushing into the space tear before it could crumble.

"Finally!" Daniel yelled, his face breaking into a broad smile as he dodged a monster’s attack just inches from his back, turning to see Adrian’s fading figure.

He turned toward the monsters scattered across the rocky room and waved his sword, splattering the excess blood onto the ground.

"Hmm. It’s ti to end this... others need to hear the good news." Daniel muttered to the growling monsters and drew another twin sword from his ring.

He took deep breaths, steadying his emotions as he swung both swords quickly through the air, the surrounding air heating up with each mont.

Then a burst of blue flas shot from his hands and completely enveloped the swords.

The monsters sensed danger, and the brave ones rushed forward to confront it, while so retreated, hesitant due to the flas ahead.

Daniel surged forward like an arrow shot from a bow, slashing, stabbing, and burning any monsters in his way.

He was like a killing machine on a massacre—cutting down the monster’s life with swift precision.

Ti moved slowly, and the roars of monsters and the sll of burnt flesh hung thickly in the air.

Gradually, the sound ceased, and a figure covered in sli and blood staggered out with swords hanging loosely in both hands.

Daniel leaned against the wall, chest heaving as he struggled to catch his breath.

Gaining so strength, he hurried to the dungeon’s teleportation room, eager to share Adrian’s success with the others.

Finally they wouldn’t have to stay on the mountain peak for long; once Adrian returns, they’ll leave here.
