He held her chin and brought her closer so that she could feel his breath on her face; he said nothing and trailed kisses from her ears, going down to her neck.
He nipped slightly, "mm~" Eva couldn’t help but moan, her thoughts of never being seduced crumpled. Her mind hazed under the spell of his kisses until his hands brushed against her chest.
The sharp pain in her chest brought her back to reality. Her eyes widened in shock, and she shoved him away.
She pinned his neck against the wall. ’Dammit! What incubus! Ugh...I was seduced so easily. I need to work on my self-control...’ Eva’s thoughts were cut short when she felt an arm trailing her back.
She glanced at him, "Practice makes perfect...Eva, we have enough ti to practice." Ethan’s possessive gaze sent a shiver down her spine.
She felt Julian’s warmth behind her and she swallowed hard. ’what did she get herself into.’ This thought filled her mind.
"We’re not beasts to take you while you’re still hurting." Julian’s words didn’t reassure her one bit. He was practically telling her, they were waiting for her to get healed.
Ethan moved her hair from her face, tucking it behind her ears. "I bought us food. You have to eat sothing." Ethan’s tone returned to normal, but his cold tone had a mix of warmth when talking to her.
At the ntion of food, Eva’s eyes lit up, and her stomach growled, pushing her earlier fears aside.
Suddenly, the lights turned off, throwing the train into darkness as it started moving. Eva held Ethan tightly, disoriented by the sudden darkness.
Ethan wrapped his hands securely around her. He, too, wondered why the lights turned off.
"Passengers, please remain where you are. Glowing crystals will be placed throughout all areas for lighting. We are conserving fuel for the duration of our journey. This is your captain speaking."
The announcent blared through the speakers, calming the restless passengers with its explanation.
"Does this happen often?" Eva frowned, her tone uncertain about the whole situation. It was her first train ride, so she didn’t know if this was normal.
"It’s not how it is. The electricity is down." Ethan inford her of the sky as well, letting her know what was going on.
Eva remained silent, trying to recall if any of this had been in the novel. ’Please don’t tell this is from the part I skipped. She skips pages, not the entire book! What’s going on? First the key, now blackouts. It can’t get any worse.’
These thoughts filled her mind; as the train workers placed a glowing crystal outside the door, the light shone through the edges of their door.
’’Knock!’’
Julian moved to the door and opened it, revealing a uniford woman holding a glowing crystal.
"Excuse , sir, I need to place the crystal in your cabin." Her tone polite as she held out a dium blue crystal in her hand.
"There’s no need for that. Hand it over, I’ll do it." Julian stretched his hands to her. The woman handed it over and bowed in thanks before heading to other places to light them up.
They saw Julian walk in with a blue crystal which instantly lit up the room. Ethan placed Eva gently on the site before bringing out their food which was steaming hot.
Eva saw the food and moved closer. She placed her feet on the ground to stand, but her legs buckled, and Julian caught her, gently easing her back into the seat.
"Don’t move am bringing yours to you." Ethan’s tone was firm and he quickly plated her food. He made sure to add enough bacon and sausages to her plate.
Eva looked down at her legs and let out a sigh before she could feel depressed. A plate of food was placed in front of her.
Seeing the red glistening sausage she forgot to feel sad for herself and quickly picked them up with her fork. Her cheeks puffed as she stuffed her mouth with food.
Within seconds, her filled plate was emptied; she licked her lips, her eyes zeroing in on the remaining food on the table.
"Are you even chewing at all?" Julian asked, his expression filled with wonder at her empty plate. No matter how long he saw her eat, he couldn’t get used to her fast eating.
She seed to be swallowing without chewing.
"You’re just slow; I chew my food," Eva replied in a deadpan tone; she leaned forward, reaching for the table.
"Here, eat slowly," Ethan warned her softly as he filled her plate with food again. Eva blew Ethan a kiss, then turned to Julian with a raised eyebrow, silently challenging him to learn from Ethan.
Julian shook his head and went back to his al; they ate in silence, with the click of utensils echoing through the room.
Their journey was a long and boring one; they occasionally teased Eva, liking her exasperated expressions.
Eva was bored out of her mind, she drumd her fingers on the armrest, watching them play chess with a bored sigh.
The second day of their journey passed quietly, with only the faint glow of crystals lighting the darkness.
"Ugh... I’m bored...." Eva said for the tenth ti, her legs stretched across the chair, her arms dangling loosely over the sides.
"Sleep; the ti will flash past in a flash," Julian muttered while placing his bishop diagonally, blocking Ethan’s rook.
"Julian....you have ti powers.... can’t you fast forward the ti." Eva drawled lazily, she turned, facing his direction.
A laugh slipped past Ethan’s lips at Julian’s constipated expression. His forehead ticked at her words.
"Eva, dear repeat your words," Julian said with a smile on his face, but it was so creepy that Eva had goosebumps all over.
"Ah! I just rembered. I feel pressed. Ahah..." She laughed nervously and slipped out of the room at a speed she didn’t know she could muster in her current condition.
"Creepy..." She hugged herself and went in the direction of the restroom with the help of the crystal glows.
"Another one’s heading in, Boys, let’s have so fun,’’ the man said, a sinister grin spreading as he watched Eva’s retreating figure.
The first woman they had successfully, gave them the courage to seek out another woman. The five of them stood up, hiding in the shadows as they followed Eva.
Eva’s eyes flashed coldly as she sensed soone trailing her. For now, she kept walking, her steps steady, but her guard was up.
’As long as they don’t attack, I won’t act.’
The darkness seed to awaken hidden desires in so, bringing them to the surface.
