"Ladies and gentlen, let's give a round of applause to our lucky winner, Tom! He hit the jackpot with a tenfold payout, nearly cleaning out the first-round prize pool! But don't worry, folks, there's still plenty of chances to win big!"

Sitson stood at the podium, hyping up the crowd as the host. Below, the staff watched Tom, who was raking in cash, with envious eyes, waving their own money, eager to place their bets.

"Hold your horses! Let lay out the rules for this round's betting! Sa as before—place your bets on the order of deaths! This ti, we're betting on who'll be the first, seventh, and twelfth to die. I've assigned numbers to everyone, so pick any three numbers to bet on!"

The screen displayed the faces of the 17 people in the cabin, each with a number next to them, starting with Thor.

"Now, you've got five minutes to place your bets. Go wild!"

The staff on the first floor went into a frenzy, while upstairs, Mr. W couldn't hold back any longer. He decided to take his rcenaries to check out the monster containnt area.

As they navigated the complex corridors and reached the monster room, Mr. W noticed sothing off. Several containnt cubes were empty—a highly unusual situation.

"What's going on? Weren't only three groups of monsters released? Who's controlling this?"

The rcenaries beside him had no answers. A bad feeling crept over Mr. W.

"Sothing's wrong. Get out of here—now!"

But just as he spoke, the security door behind them slamd shut.

"Mr. W, I was wondering how to catch you, and here you are, delivering yourself to ," a voice echoed from the shadows.

Without hesitation, Mr. W barked orders. "Take out anything that moves, no matter what it is!"

"Roger that!" The rcenaries flipped off their safeties, ready for action.

"Oh, Mr. W, that's not very friendly," the voice taunted.

"Who are you? You dare ss with the Cabin?"

"Looks like Mr. W's forgotten little old . What a sha."

From the shadows erged a massive, blurry figure.

"Open fire!"

The rcenaries unloaded their clips at the figure, but it only swayed slightly, the bullets seemingly missing their mark entirely.

"Pity. I was hoping we could catch up, but since you're being so rude, I guess I'll have to get serious."

Suddenly, a pink object shot out from the shadows, striking Mr. W square in the face.

"Damn it! What is this? Help !"

The rcenaries grabbed Mr. W, only to realize the pink object was a tongue, its tip glued to his face.

"Co here!"

The tongue retracted swiftly. The rcenaries yanked back, but the force was too great—Mr. W's head was ripped clean off.

"Tch, tch, tch. Such a sha," the figure said, its tone dripping with anything but regret.

Let's shift the scene back to the cabin in the woods.

Claire pulled out her pistol and headed toward the basent exit. The living room looked unchanged, except the front door was inexplicably open.

"Did soone co in?"

Claire cautiously scanned the surroundings while Curt and Holden grabbed random objects as makeshift weapons. Nidi closed her eyes, sensing sothing.

"There's sothing on the second floor!"

The group tensed up instantly, especially Dana and Jules. Jules instinctively hid in Curt's arms, while Dana clung to Holden.

"No way. A bear got in?"

Nidi focused harder. "It's not a bear. It doesn't even feel… alive."

Martin, taking a drag from his bong, choked and burst out laughing. "Cough, cough… haha! What, you're saying it's a ghost?"

The won all turned to glare at Martin, freezing the grin on his face.

"Uh, you guys don't actually believe that, right?"

Jennifer ignored him and turned to Nidi. "What's going on, Nidi?"

Nidi's brow furrowed. "Sothing's off. I'm sensing multiple dark creatures—not just on the second floor!"

"Looks like we're in trouble," Jennifer sighed, pulling a card from her pocket. It depicted a pistol and a magazine. With a flick of her wrist, the card's contents materialized in her hand.

Martin and the others' eyes nearly popped out.

"What the hell? Is this so kind of new magic trick?"

To be fair, Jennifer's move did look suspiciously like a stage magician pulling objects from a photo. But the group quickly realized this was no trick as all the won pulled out similar cards, materializing pistols and magazines.

"So, you're not magicians—you're wizards?"

Dana and Jules stared wide-eyed at Mary, as if seeing her for the first ti. To them, Mary was just a kind, studious classmate—not soone wielding a massive Desert Eagle.

Roy's disappearance had instilled a sense of urgency in his won. They no longer waited for him to save them. After the leech serum enhanced their bodies, they underwent rigorous military training under Saltana's guidance, courtesy of FEAR's high-intensity programs. Now, Amy, Keller, and Claire's combat skills rivaled Vanguard's, though they lacked his experience and situational awareness.

"Quiet! No one speaks from now on!" Jennifer ordered. "Claire, let's check the second floor."

The two headed upstairs. The unlit second-floor hallway was pitch black, but Jennifer and Claire's dark vision let them see clearly. At the end of the corridor, they spotted two little girls in white dresses, holding hands, facing away.

Where did these kids co from?

Exchanging a shocked glance, Jennifer and Claire approached cautiously. Despite the eerie scene, their kindness prevailed, and they called out, "Hey, who are you? Why are you here?"

The girls' heads twisted 180 degrees, revealing faces with blood streaming from every orifice.

The sight was so jarring that even Jennifer and Claire, seasoned as they were, gasped in shock. Claire, unable to hold back, fired three shots at the girls. The bullets passed right through, confirming they were evil spirits.

"Spirits!"

Claire unleashed a burst of holy light, and with a scream, the two ghostly girls vanished.

The scream echoed downstairs, startling Martin and the others.

"No way, for real? Or did I smoke too much?"

Jennifer and Claire hurried back down. "There were two spirits upstairs, but Claire took care of them," Jennifer said.

The spirits were gone, but the danger wasn't. Dana and Jules, shaken, pleaded, "Jennifer, Claire, please tell us this is a prank."

Claire transford into her angelic form. "Believe us now?"

Seeing an angel, how could they not? The group nodded like bobbleheads.

Just then, a woman's sobbing echoed from outside, heightening their tension.

"Crying? Sounds like an adult," Heather said, frowning.

If it was an adult, it couldn't be the two girls from earlier. That ant a third dark creature was lurking nearby.

"Why are there so many dark creatures?" Penny wondered aloud. One might be normal—remote cabins were pri spots for murders or body dumps, so a ghost or two wasn't surprising. But this many? Sothing was off.

Then, a low, guttural growl ca from outside, clearly unnatural. Jennifer's frown deepened. "Claire, let's check it out. Everyone else, lock the doors and windows. Trust no one but us!"

The group sprang into action. Martin, the guides, and the others moved like lightning, barricading the kitchen's back door with furniture.

Jennifer and Claire cautiously stepped outside and spotted five zombies shambling toward them in a neat line. They moved so slowly a turtle could've outrun them. The won opened fire, but the zombies' physical resistance and resilience were unnaturally high—pistol bullets didn't even slow them down.

Claire scowled and hurled a ball of holy fire, engulfing the zombies in white flas. Fire was the best way to deal with corporeal undead.

But before they could relax, a wave of malice hit them from behind. A ghost in a white Victorian wedding dress appeared, clawing at Jennifer.

Caught off guard, Jennifer took a hit, black claw marks appearing on her shoulder, her blood turning black.

"Jennifer, watch out!"

Claire threw a light orb, scaring the ghost bride away. Jennifer dropped to one knee, clutching her wound, sweating profusely. The ghost's attack carried a curse even Jennifer's demon blood couldn't resist.

"Jennifer, you okay?"

"The ghost's claws have a curse. Let's get back inside!"

With Claire and Nidi's purification abilities, the curse was manageable. But seeing Jennifer limp back, wounded, the group panicked.

"What happened?"

"A new spirit with a cursed attack. Jennifer got hit," Claire explained, helping her to the couch to purify the curse.

Heather and Penny, with their ghost wolf blood enhancing their senses, caught a scent. "Trouble—I sll werewolves!" Heather said.

"And vampires!" Penny added.

Howls erupted outside, clearly from multiple werewolves, followed by a vampire's shriek from the roof. The dark creatures were nurous, and oddly, the werewolves and vampires weren't fighting each other—they were targeting the humans in the cabin.

"What do we do? Are we screwed?" Holden crouched, hugging his head, his bravado gone.

"Not yet!"

Dana and Jules noticed Heather and Penny's eyes turn glowing blue, like they'd put in colored contacts. The two won pulled out cards depicting Uzi submachine guns and silver bullets, materializing them and loading the silver rounds. They aid at the windows.

"Here they co!"

The Uzis unleashed a torrent of silver bullets, dropping a werewolf clawing at the window. But on the other side, a massive bat crashed through, diving at the group.

Jennifer, mid-purification, snapped her eyes open and transford into a towering red demon, slamming the bat away. "Don't touch my friends!"

"Holy shit!" Martin rubbed his eyes. If he'd missed the spirits, he couldn't miss demon Jennifer, the werewolf, or the giant bat. It was like a fantasy blockbuster. Martin and the others cowered in the corner.

In her demon form, Jennifer's physical stats surged, temporarily resisting the ghost bride's curse. She hoisted the bat and hurled it out the window.

More werewolves poured in through the windows. Jennifer pulled two more cards, summoning an executioner's blade and an Alien Queen shield—crafted from the queen's fan-shaped skull, a gift from Roy. Wielding the blade in one hand and the shield in the other, Jennifer was a warrior goddess.

Heather and Penny, ard with Roy's cursed daggers and their Uzis, were lethal at any range. Nidi, wielding a copy of Genesis like Iris's, chanted prayers to buff the group. Amy, Keller, and Claire each played their part, holding off the werewolves and vampires.

The first wave was repelled.

Epic scene.
