The killer doll Chucky isn't as famous as so of his contemporaries like Jason or Freddy, but the fact that the horror franchise has reached its eighth installnt and even had a TV series reboot in 2021 shows just how successful this guy is.
The movie begins with a serial killer nad Ray who, when cornered by the police, chooses to use voodoo to transfer his soul into a toy doll, thus escaping capture.
However, due to various reasons, Ray failed to transfer his soul back into a human body and was forced to permanently bond with the toy doll.
Thus, the classic killer toy doll of cinema history was born.
However, in the original movie, Chucky's voodoo skills were quite rudintary, basically just soul transfer.
What Roy is currently seeing doesn't seem to be the case. This version of Chucky is probably even more powerful than the movie version.
Moreover, Roy rembers that the protagonist of the first movie was a single mother and a little boy, which is clearly not Kelly's family situation.

The subsequent Michael Myers, Leatherface, and the Sinclair brothers were all the type of characters who were ruthless and didn't talk much.
"The way you talk trash reminds of an old friend! I think it's necessary to teach you how to speak in a harmonious society!"
After saying this, Roy suddenly grabbed Chucky's leg, lifted him up, and repeatedly slamd him onto the ground.
