Catherine looked at the Nexus prompt, took a deep breath, and then continued using the [Holy ARM] to heal Uchiha Itachi. This special magic-tech device from the [MÄR Heaven world] was extrely functional and versatile. Not only could it be used by anyone who mastered [Magic] energy, but ordinary Reincarnators could also use it to co into contact with and control [Magic].

Shinobi... they weren't heroes in the night. Shinobi were just convenient weapons in the hands of those in power.
Catherine accidentally t Itachi's gaze. The calm resolve in the eyes of this 12-or-13-year-old boy stunned her. She was beginning to understand why he would one day slaughter his entire clan.
Uchiha Itachi... it wasn't that he wasn't arrogant. He was arrogant to the extre. He believed, to his very core, only in his own judgnt. When he decided his clan had no future, and that only by slaughtering them could he save his little brother... he did it.
He had always believed that his judgnt was the most correct...
Catherine turned her head and looked at rcenary Tao. In a way, those two were probably the sa kind. And just then, she saw the undisguised smile on rcenary Tao's face.
"This plan to destroy Konoha... I cannot pretend I didn't hear it."
Uchiha Itachi's hands fell to his sides. A strange aura began to emanate from him, the three-tomoe in his eyes spinning slightly. Orochimaru and Konan both tensed, sensing a threat from this boy.
Tendo Pain, however, held out a hand to stop them. Kaito Shirogane also stepped in front of Itachi.
"What do you want to do?"
He also let his hands hang naturally at his sides. But Itachi's Sharingan clearly perceived that while his posture looked relaxed, his muscles were incredibly tense. With just a thought, that god-speed attack would be unleashed.
Uchiha Itachi looked at rcenary Tao. There was absolutely no reverence for human life in his eyes. This was a madman who had mastered absolute violence.
"This 'Konoha Crush'... to what extent are you taking it?"
"How many people will be killed? How much infrastructure will be destroyed?"
Itachi asked calmly, his tone no different from soone asking the price of goods at a market. Hearing this, Kaito Shirogane's smile widened.
"Is one-tenth enough? If not, how about one-eighth?"
Uchiha Itachi continued, his tone growing colder.
Just like the moral dilemmas he had faced before, he once again made the most utilitarian choice. If so people had to be sacrificed, he could accept it. And, he hoped to choose those sacrifices.
This attitude... was it not treating human life as just a number?
But he firmly believed that since Konoha itself was not "clean," perhaps... clearing out so of the parasites would allow Konoha to beco better.
"rcenary Tao... if it's possible, can you let join this plan? I wish to have the power to... choose so of that 'quota'."
Nagato watched Itachi through Tendo Pain's Rinnegan. This boy's way of thinking... in its own way, it was also extrely terrifying. But at this point, he no longer cared. As he had said, he was a god, neither good nor evil.
He didn't want to make moral judgnts. He just wanted to make this world... feel pain.
"More than half of the leadership must be annihilated. At the sa ti, Konoha's defenses must be completely broken, and its shinobi combat-capability must be reduced by over 30%."
With these words, Pain had accepted Itachi's participation.
