Sunny didn't forget what his main goal was — to make sure that no one ever finds out his True Na. To achieve that, he had to create an impression that he was the most pathetic, weak person in this whole building. Soone who would never receive a positive appraisal, let alone a divine Aspect and a True Na.
However, since this would be a lie, he couldn't just go and say it.
So how was he to convince everyone that he definitely did not have a powerful Aspect and an impressive record with the Spell?
His eyes fell on a particular group of Sleepers. There were five or six of them, gathered around a tall, confident young man.
The young man had brown hair and a gentle, handso face. His eyes were green, with a hint of friendly humor. His posture, figure and attentive gaze betrayed soone who went through extensive training. Everything about the young man scread of nobility and strength.
Just at that mont, one of his companions was saying with a tone of amazent:
"Transcendent? You have received an transcendent Aspect? What… what was your Appraisal?!"
The young man smiled humbly.
"Oh. It was "excellent."
Sunny stopped in front of the group, as though by accident. After hearing the young man's answer, he frowned and looked at him with disdain.
Then, with a voice full of utter bewildernt, Sunny said:
"Transcendent, excellent? That's it? What's the big deal?"

Leaving Sunny to embarrass himself alone, Senrix took a seat across from his little twin sister and began eating the spread of food set out in front of him. He hadn't eaten since arriving, so it was no surprise that he was starving.
Nephis only sighed, shook her head at her brother's antics, and started eating quietly herself, neither too fast nor too slow, but at a steady, composed pace.
"Do you plan to reveal your true na?" Nephis asked once she had finished her portion of the al.
Senrix glanced at her for a few seconds, swallowed the bite of chicken he was chewing, and answered in a serious tone. "Of course I do. By doing this, we'll both secure a foothold in the social and political spheres where our clan has been gradually losing influence."
He paused briefly before adding, "Besides, my na will likely inspire fear, while yours will draw attention and admiration. A sleeper who hasn't even entered the dream realm already bears the true na 'Avatar of Apocalypse.' anwhile, yours, 'Changing Star,' will strike others with awe."
Earlier, during the car ride here, they had caught up and exchanged details about their runes.
Senrix had willingly shared his runes with Nephis for two reasons: first, because he trusted her completely, and second, because of the lingering influence of the previous Senrix's personality that had fused with his own.
Honestly, he couldn't understand where the hatred toward Nephis had co from. She was a blowtorch, literally, because of her aspect, and figuratively, in how intense she could be.
In the original novel, her harsh personality made sense given her upbringing.
She had grown up alone after her grandmother, the last of her family, died when Nephis was only eight.
After that, she had no one else to rely on.
Thankfully, with Senrix here now, her personality had shifted for the better.
She was more open, more selfless, and had even developed a quiet kind of heroism without realizing it herself.
In truth, the readers who constantly slander Nephis either don't understand her at all or only skim through without trying to grasp her context.
Nephis was a likable character. Yes, she did enslave Sunny later on, but that stemd from how deeply she loved him. During the months she spent alone on the Forgotten Shore, his runes and his growth were the only things keeping her anchored.
Sunny, by contrast, wasn't nearly as likable, yet people praised him endlessly.
He was selfishness incarnate. He only took on the role of Rain's teacher because it suited him, and he gained everything through so sort of sufferings before walking away with overwhelming strength.
His journey from sleeper to sovereign was earned and undeniably entertaining to read, but the sheer number of convenient coincidences he stumbled into felt excessive.
It's strange how people condemn Nephis for being depressed and emotionally unstable, yet glorify Sunny despite his own ntal instability.
What kind of double standard is that?
Yes, he knew that people had tastes, yet nearly every ti he saw soone slander Nephis, they compared her to the most righteous characters out there.
She wasn't supposed to be a kind, super smart, perfect character.
She was the kind of character whose flaws shone through, her personality and mindset were interesting to read, especially in contrast to Sunny, who was just straight-up crazy through and through.
People who liked Sunny were fine.
He would even praise them for it.
But people who liked Sunny and hated on Nephis were on another level of double standards.
If you hated both Sunny and Nephis, that was fine too, everyone had their reasons, and he had his.
That was why he actually liked that one fanfiction author back then.
The author hated the main cast so deeply that it made him curious to see what would happen next.
That was also the sa reason he hated that one fanfiction about a transmigrator being transmigrated into Sunny.
It painted Nephis in the wrong light, the kind that overshadowed the other flaws that made her a likable character.
The transmigrator was what you'd call a bastard, not even a treacherous one, but sothing beyond that. He was the kind of character who should just rot in hell.
Yes, his attitude toward Cassia was likable, but the sheer wrongness of the characterization felt so forced that it wasn't even funny at that point.
As he finished eating, he saw Nephis looking absent-mindedly at the sleepers listening to Awakened Rock's speech about the nightmare spell and the dream realm.
They had managed to get to the cafeteria imdiately for two main reasons: first, because they were legacies, and second, because he had bribed the logistics employee to let them eat early.
How? Well, he had told the employee a secret that a mundane human shouldn't know, the existence of beings higher than saints.
Of course, he wasn't dumb enough to tell the employee who or what existed above the so-called peak of humanity.
As he finished eating, he donned his featureless black and yellow mask once more, adjusting it until it sat snugly against his face.
"I'll go to my room now," Senrix said quietly as he picked up his communicator and walked toward the room he'd been assigned.
Awakened Rock's speech was already over.
Normally, the students would be heading to the cafeteria at this ti, and he didn't want to socialize much with the arrogant legacies.
