Hawk glanced around the Landon family villa and asked, "Why is there no one at your house?"

"I don’t know, when I finished my test paper and ca out, there was no one here. My brother might have gone on a business trip." Crystal said indifferently, her pretty little face full of satisfaction from the food. She guessed that her parents and Pearl went out to eat in anger because she didn’t obey them and didn’t hand Richard Shaw over, deliberately not calling her.

This sort of thing wasn’t unheard of.

A black Humr quietly parked in front of the villa. The man inside looked through the open door, observing their closely positioned heads. He glanced down at the fruits and food he had brought, curling his lips mockingly. The old lady was worried that the little girl would go hungry, insisting he deliver food to give them a chance to interact, but clearly, this girl didn’t need it.

Richard Shaw sat in the car, lit a cigarette, and watched the unconcerned pair blow smoke. After finishing the cigarette, he started the car and drove back to the Shaw Mansion.
