As the sky was just getting light, Luna followed the address from the phone to the villa area. She wasn’t a resident, couldn’t enter the villa gate, and could only wait outside. She didn’t know how long she waited until she saw a black Humr smoothly enter the villa community.

The license plate is a special military license plate, whether it’s the Humr or the license plate, neither has changed.

Richard Shaw is very dedicated to the things he uses. When he likes sothing, he will use it until it cannot be used anymore. Luna imdiately recognized it; that woman indeed lives here.

This villa community, not to ntion now, even when she just arrived in Imperial City, was sothing she couldn’t touch. Not to ntion where she lives now in the staff dormitory, cramd together with several people, dirty, ssy, and with a poor environnt.

Luna thought of the initial years when she sought refuge with her brother and was cared for by Richard Shaw. She truly lived the life of a young lady, and all of this was destroyed by that woman. She appeared, and not only took away Richard Shaw, but also retrieved everything she had owned.

Luna’s delicate little face was faintly twisted with jealousy. She hid in a corner to make a phone call and urgently said, "I want to speak with Mr. Liao."

"Wait."

Not long after, the call was transferred to Mr. Liao. His voice was a very ordinary male voice but carried a peculiar taste: "Did you see the person?"

"Mr. Liao, I can’t get in, but I saw Richard Shaw’s car go in." Luna said sowhat haltingly, her heart inexplicably filled with fear of this Mr. Liao. Her ability to leave the ntal ward, change her appearance, and even know that Crystal Landon wasn’t dead, all of this was thanks to Mr. Liao’s efforts.

"I would like to repay your kindness but don’t know what I can do for you." Luna spoke in a very humble manner, weakly.

She is not a brainless woman with nothing but looks. Mr. Liao went through great efforts to get her out, it could not be without a motive. Originally, she was just a woman from a poor rural area and had only interacted with Major General Richard Shaw of the prestigious Shaw family. The purpose was self-evident.

But whatever little affection she had for Richard Shaw was exhausted after he threw her into the ntal ward. In these years in the ward, she was surrounded by various psychiatric patients, taking various pills every day. Such a suppressed and maddening environnt could drive a normal person insane. A crazy person talking about emotions is simply a joke.

Since Richard Shaw was ruthless to her, don’t bla her for being ungrateful.

"Having seen the person, does the fire of revenge burn even stronger within you?" Mr. Liao’s voice carried a peculiar smile, lowered a few degrees, and said, "Don’t rush, you can observe Leah Squire’s daily routine, soon it’ll be your turn to play."

The man finished speaking and hung up the phone. An internal line from the assistant ca in, saying, "Dr. Liao, you have surgery scheduled at 9 AM."

Richard Shaw arrived at the small villa early in the morning, bringing fresh soy milk and stewed chicken soup from Shaw Mansion. He always rembered Leah liked to have chicken noodle soup in the morning when she woke up. He had gone to the kitchen to stew a black-bone chicken after returning ho in the middle of the night.

When he entered by pressing the passcode, he saw Leah had taken a bath early in the morning, her long hair still half-wet, and her face was pale, lying listlessly on the sofa. The man’s face darkened slightly as he walked over and said in a low voice, "Why bathe so early and leave your hair wet?"

Leah watched as he placed the breakfast he brought on the table and then went to find a hairdryer. Her brows were slightly cold, and a belly full of questions she wanted to ask him remained unsaid. Both she and Griffith Squire are masters at pretending everything is fine. The things that could be said had long been said and wouldn’t wait until now.

Leah felt her hands and feet were sowhat cold, abruptly feeling that if one day no one was as they appeared, what would those years of warm tis be worth?

Richard Shaw brought over the hairdryer to dry her hair, noticing she was consistently gloomy, reached out and embraced her, sensing her body stiffened slightly, revealing a sense of aloofness. The man’s gaze deepened instantly.

All of a sudden, why was she rejecting him? Did Griffith call her again after he left? Richard Shaw’s thin lips pressed together, internally lancholic, but outwardly smiling without a change in his expression: "Your hair is dry, now co have breakfast."

Leah responded lightly, sat at the dining table to eat breakfast, then said, "I didn’t sleep well last night, I’ll continue to sleep later. Are you going to the Military District?"

Richard Shaw nodded, saying in a low voice, "You don’t look well, are you uncomfortable?"

Leah looked at his handso yet slightly harsh face and said hoarsely, "Maybe my period is about to co, I feel completely out of strength, I will be fine after a good sleep."

Richard Shaw, always bold and careful, noticed her peculiar expression but didn’t want to say anything more, he decided not to pursue further and thought of investigating.

Leah finished breakfast, urged him to go to work, and then went upstairs to sleep.

Not knowing how much ti had passed, hearing the Humr’s engine start, waiting for another half an hour before Leah changed her clothes and took the car keys, heading out to the hospital.

Last night in the half-night she practically didn’t close her eyes, her head was incessantly throbbing with pain. She had booked an appointnt with an expert neurologist who had surgery in the morning and had ti for consultation in the afternoon, with limited slots available daily that needed to be booked for the day. Leah happened to grab an appointnt.

The doctor was only in his early thirties, very young. Originally, Leah wanted to schedule with an older doctor but upon reviewing this doctor’s resu, felt he was exceptionally brilliant, and could be said to be the best-reputed neurologist in recent years, second to none in Imperial City.

Leah drove to the hospital, waited for another hour, and finally the nurse called her na.

She knocked on the door and entered. The office was quite large, with the hospital’s standardized decorations. The man was wearing glasses, raised his head from a pile of dical records and instrunts, revealing a gentle and fair face, motioning for Leah to sit opposite him, and said, "Miss Squire, what seems to be bothering you?"

"My head is splitting with pain, and I have symptoms of mory loss, hoping to see if my amnesia can be cured." Leah looked at the doctor Liao before her, noticed his fair face but a few strands of white hair at the temples, and inexplicably felt sothing peculiar hearing the man’s voice.

"How long have you been losing mory? How much of your past can you recall?" Dr. Liao adjusted the glasses on his nose, a habitual action of his during monts of high-speed ntal processing or concealing inner excitent. Upon seeing Leah co in, the corners of the man’s lips unconsciously curled into a smile.

Truly searching high and low in vain, only to gain it effortlessly. He had spent years building his reputation in Imperial City’s psychiatric field, investing nurous funds and connections to achieve good fa in neurology, all waiting for this amnesia patient to co to him.

If Leah hadn’t co by now, he would have to approach her himself.
