Inside the VIP suite at Cloud Summit, Ignatius Leclair sat in a leather seat, his cold and stern features gazing down at the South Sea night’s skyline through the floor-to-ceiling window.

This extravagant land, countless people rush forward ceaselessly, yearning to beco its ruler. His ancestors left their holand, poured their lifeblood into this place to rise up, and passed down their legacy for hundreds of years, ultimately forging the unshakable status of the Leclair Estate.

This was his territory.

Griffith Squire had brought only one trusted aide with him when he entered the VIP suite, suddenly realizing how the dynamics between him and Ignatius Leclair had shifted. At their first eting, he held all the advantages — even on Ignatius Leclair’s turf — he’d managed to dominate the situation, assault the Yeager Family’s eldest son, intimidate the Yeager patriarch, and casually announce his impending entry into the South Sea territory. Yet it had only been a few days, and the man had already launched his counterattack. Was it truly for a woman?

Griffith Squire curved his lips into a smile; his devilishly handso face was brimming with mischief.

"I wonder what purpose Leclair has in inviting here today?" Griffith Squire asked leisurely, chuckling as he chose a comfortable couch to sit on, crossing one leg over the other, his manner relaxed and nonchalant, as if strolling through his own private garden.

Ignatius Leclair wasn’t irritated by his overly familiar conduct. Rising to his feet, his breathtakingly handso face was frosted with cold indifference as he spoke calmly, "I want you to tell , detail by detail, everything about you and Delphine Carter."

The two equally brilliant n stripped away their pretense, covertly locking horns.

Griffith Squire shook his head in mock pity, his charming smile overflowing with ease. "Leclair, no rush. Whatever you wish to know, if Delphine hasn’t said it, I’ll gladly offer the full story."

With rely a hint of deduction, Griffith Squire could guess that towering figures like Ignatius Leclair, having tripped over a woman, would never question Delphine directly. And as for Delphine, well, her wooden-headed stubbornness wouldn’t confirm anything even if asked.

And so, they had co to him.

Griffith Squire narrowed his enchanting eyes, tapped the tabletop lightly, and grinned. "How about a little wine?"

Ignatius Leclair, seeing Griffith’s playboy deanor and libertine charm, felt his suffocating frustration almost rise to his chest. He replied coldly, "For years, the Golden Triangle has been a chaotic ss, divided among various factions. No less than twenty forces occupy the region. Rather than breaking ground in your own stronghold, why have you co to this tiny corner of mine?"

Claiming it was for a woman was rely a facade. In a man’s world, the pursuit of power and ambition was an innate, burning instinct; won were a garnishing touch. Especially for soone like Griffith Squire, whose roots lay in such dark and tumultuous surroundings.

Griffith Squire’s smirk faded slightly, and his devilishly handso features turned slightly more serious. He squinted faintly and replied, "It wasn’t my choice to co here. Your father, Stone Leclair, declared this place to be a haven of feng shui and personally invited as a guest."

A heavy mantle was dropped squarely onto Stone Leclair’s shoulders.

Ignatius Leclair let out a cold laugh, walked to face him, and sat down gracefully and composedly. Dropping his gaze, he spoke coolly, "The first ti you appeared in the Golden Triangle was at ten years old — gaunt and scrawny, trailing behind the then-infamous Black General, Neal, wreaking havoc, committing arson, pillaging indiscriminately. By twelve, during Neal’s conflict with the Northern Warlords, you won fa in a single battle and beca Neal’s trusted aide. By eighteen, you led a coup against Neal, seized his command, took over his territory, and ascended as the youngest military Warlord of the ti."

Ignatius Leclair paused briefly, noticing the indifferent mischievous smile still lingering on Griffith Squire’s face, before continuing in his cold tone, "Your rise to fa and future exploits are well-known, and I won’t repeat them. But what intrigues is — where were you, and what was your identity, before the age of ten?"
