Olivia’s legs moved on autopilot as Viktor guided her up the stairs, his hand still firmly planted on her ass, squeezing and kneading the soft flesh through her white robes with each step.

Her face burned crimson. Her breathing ca in short, anxious gasps. Her hands fidgeted nervously with the fabric of her robes, twisting and untwisting the material.

"I—I really don’t think—" she started, her voice trembling.

"You think too much," Viktor interrupted smoothly, his thumb tracing circles on her hip.

They reached the second floor landing. The hallway stretched before them, lined with doors. Magical lights floated lazily near the ceiling, casting warm illumination.

Olivia’s mouth opened and closed several tis, her mind racing for sothing—anything—to say that might delay this inevitable mont.

"But—but I’ve never—I an—the church always taught us that—that physical intimacy should only be—"

The words tumbled out in a rush, nervous and scattered.

"—and I’m a priestess so I took vows and those vows are sacred even if you’re an apostle there are still proper procedures and protocols and I haven’t even properly prepared myself ntally or spiritually and—"

Viktor stopped walking.

Olivia’s rambling halted mid-sentence as Viktor turned to face her fully, his dark eyes dancing with barely suppressed amusent.

"And?" he prompted, one eyebrow raised.

"And—and I haven’t even brushed my teeth since dinner!" Olivia blurted out.

Silence.

Then Viktor burst out laughing.

Not a polite chuckle or a small snort. Full, genuine laughter that echoed through the hallway. His shoulders shook. His head tilted back. The sound was rich and unrestrained.

"You—" he managed between laughs, "—you’re worried about your breath?"

Before Olivia could respond, Viktor moved.

He pushed her backward against the hallway wall. Not roughly, but firmly. Her back hit the smooth wood paneling with a soft thud. Her breath left her lungs in a surprised gasp.

Viktor’s hands ca up to cage her in, palms flat against the wall on either side of her head. His body pressed close—not touching, but close enough that she could feel the heat radiating from him.

Their faces were inches apart.

Olivia’s golden eyes went wide, eting his dark gaze. Her breath ca faster, shorter. Her chest rose and fell rapidly beneath her robes.

She could sll him. Sothing masculine and clean with an undertone of musk. Could feel his presence overwhelming her senses.

Viktor leaned in closer still. His lips nearly brushed her ear as he whispered:

"You were so immature to not even know what actual sex is."

Olivia’s breath hitched.

"I had to show you visuals of my wives, didn’t I?" Viktor continued, his voice a dark purr. "Had to give you a demonstration. Because words alone wouldn’t have been enough."

Images flooded Olivia’s mind unbidden.

Following those sounds—those moans and gasps—through the forest near the town. Finding Viktor pressed against a tree with Mira impaled on his cock, her pregnant belly bouncing with each thrust.

Accidentally walking in on him in the manor’s bathing room. Helena on her knees in the water, his cock buried in her throat, her massive breasts floating in the sudsy liquid.

Looking out from her temporary guest room and seeing movent on the bedroom balcony across the courtyard. Bella bent over the railing, her cat tail wrapped around Viktor’s waist as he pounded into her from behind under the moonlight.

And of course, the carriage. All of them. Every explicit, obscene mont burned into her mory.

"Every ti," Viktor murmured, "you ca to check on my wives for their pregnancy blessings. And every ti, you found ravaging them sowhere new."

Olivia trembled, her hands coming up to press weakly against Viktor’s chest. Not pushing him away. Just... touching.

"That—that was—I was just—performing my duties as a priestess—" she stamred.

"Were you?" Viktor’s lips curved into a knowing smirk against her ear. "Is that why you always stayed to watch? Why your breathing changed? Why your thighs pressed together?"

"I—I didn’t—"

Viktor pulled back slightly, just enough to look into her eyes again.

Then his expression softened. The predatory hunger faded, replaced by sothing almost... tender.

"Do you want to see the temple I built for us?" he asked quietly.

Olivia blinked, the sudden shift in tone throwing her completely off balance.

"Temple?" she whispered. "What temple?"

Viktor’s hand left the wall, trailing down to capture hers. His fingers interlaced with hers, the touch gentle but firm.

"Co," he said simply, tugging her along.

Olivia followed on trembling legs, her mind spinning.

’Us? He said for us. What does that an?’

She watched Viktor’s back as he led her down the hallway. His broad shoulders moved beneath his shirt. His dark hair caught the magical light. The muscles of his back were visible through the thin fabric, shifting with each step.

Her lips trembled as mories cascaded through her mind.

Viktor healing the townspeople. Viktor commanding respect with just his presence. Viktor fucking his wives into unconsciousness. Viktor playing with Toby like a normal father.

Two sides of the sa man. Divine and demonic. Savior and corruptor.

’What does he an by our temple?’ The thought kept circling. ’I’m a priestess of my monastery. I serve the church. I’m not—I don’t belong to—’

They reached the end of the hallway. Instead of a door, there was a window overlooking the courtyard.

Viktor turned to face her, still holding her hand.

"Ready?" he asked.

"For wha—"

The world lurched.

Olivia’s stomach dropped as reality twisted. The hallway vanished. Darkness swallowed them for a heartbeat—

Then light.

Brilliant, pristine white light.

Olivia’s eyes flew open wide.

They were standing in the center of an enormous hall. White marble stretched in every direction—floor, walls, ceiling—all polished to a mirror shine. Massive pillars rose toward a vaulted ceiling easily fifty feet high. Stained glass windows lined the walls, depicting scenes of... of...

Olivia’s breath caught.

The windows showed Viktor. Healing the sick. Blessing the fertile. Standing with wings of golden light. Surrounded by kneeling worshippers.

Divine imagery. But not of the traditional gods.

Of him.

At the center of the hall stood an altar. Pure white stone, carved with intricate geotric patterns that glowed softly with pink-gold light. Behind it, a throne—simple but majestic—waited empty.

This was a temple.

A real temple.

Built in Viktor’s honor.

Viktor released Olivia’s hand and walked toward the altar. His footsteps echoed in the vast space. When he reached the center, he turned to face her.

His arms spread wide, like a god welcoming a supplicant. The stained glass windows behind him created a halo effect, light streaming around his silhouette.

A smirk played on his lips. His dark eyes glead with sothing ancient and powerful.

"So, Priestess," Viktor said, his voice carrying effortlessly through the hall. "How about serving as your god?"

His eyes widened slightly—not with surprise, but with anticipation. Excitent. The clear glint of soone who knew exactly what he was asking.

Watching. Waiting to see if she would accept him. Acknowledge him. Submit.

Olivia’s mind went blank.

Her hands moved on instinct, folding together in prayer position. Her training taking over where rational thought had fled.

She dropped to her knees on the cold marble floor.

"Please forgive this mindless human, Goddess," Olivia whispered, her voice trembling. "He doesn’t know what he’s saying."

The words ca automatically. Deflection. Denial. Self-deprecation to avoid making a real choice.

Viktor’s smirk widened.

He began walking toward her, his footsteps slow and deliberate. Each echoing click of his boots against marble sent shivers down Olivia’s spine.

"Did you just feared I will be hard?" Viktor asked softly. "Don’t you know exactly what does that an?"

He stopped directly in front of her kneeling form. His hand reached down, fingers sliding under her chin, tilting her face up to et his gaze.

"You’ve seen my power," Viktor continued. "Felt my divine energy. Witnessed miracles with your own trained senses. You know I’m not lying about being an apostle."

Olivia’s golden eyes glistened with unshed tears.

"But—but I’m already sworn to—"

"To what?" Viktor interrupted. "To a church that sent you alone into dangerous territory? That gave you impossible tasks and inadequate resources? That would excommunicate you in a heartbeat if they knew you’d witnessed what you’ve seen and didn’t report it?"

His thumb traced her lower lip.

"Or will you serve ?" Viktor whispered. "Beco my priestess. My conduit. My battery to channel divine power and protect the people who actually need it?"
