"I am not speaking as an heir but as a human—sothing many of us have forgotten. Heroes are not dangerous; in fact, they are respectable for saving us every day. But they still need to be monitored to ensure both their safety and ours," Cruxius said, his dark, velvet voice vibrating through the hall, finally noticing that his calculated narrative was beginning to deeply penetrate the minds of the reporters.

It was now ti for him to seamlessly switch the direction of his narrative to avoid appearing biased; instead, he aid to present his dominant, alpha persona as neutral by discussing the positive aspects of this situation.

Indeed, it’s human nature to naturally doubt a narrative if it doesn’t align with one’s thought process.

However, if they physically and ntally yearn to believe the powerful, handso man giving the narrative, they desperately desire to hear sothing from his lips that their mind can eagerly accept.

The absolute best approach for those who naively supported heroes and recognized their importance to society was to fra the narrative in a way that showcased how the heavy addition of tracking devices could actually benefit those very heroes.

Tring.

Then, Darithi’s phone rang, the vibration buzzing intimately against her tight skirt. In front of the flashing caras, she answered the call, her chest rising against her fitted uniform as she placed it to her ear and listened to the devastating news.

’!’

"....."

Yet, unlike the strict, manipulative instructions given by her master—to heavily exaggerate her physical reaction, maybe shed a tear, and use Volta’s bloody injury as leverage to sway dia sentint—Darithi’s beautiful face remained entirely blank.

The dark plan was simple: fra the fatal injury as undeniable proof that heroes with trackers could get tily reinforcents.

But now, sothing had clearly changed.

"Darithi, what happ..." Cruxius turned his broad shoulders to her, fully expecting her to follow the deceptive act. But his deep voice faltered as his sharp gaze locked onto her hollow, frozen expression.

It was enough to tell him—sothing far more serious, far more deadly had just happened.

And he knew exactly what it was.

’How?’

His long, calloused fingers tapped rhythmically against the podium, his handso head slightly tilted toward the press as he closed his dark eyes.

Sothing had gone horribly wrong.

A rogue variable had appeared, violently ruining the plan.

To effectively kill the voluptuous Volta, catching her off-guard was absolutely crucial. That was only possible if two A-rank villains attacked her simultaneously.

And that was exactly the thing that did not align with this carefully crafted plan.

He had only contracted a dark hit on a simple, fragile mortal—the Dean of the hospital.

There was absolutely no reason for top-tier, hardened supervillains from Zone 7’s syndicate to be there.

Soone had intentionally sent the strongest monsters available.

No matter how his brilliant mind calculated it, his cold logic was sound.

At most, a couple of desperate, low-ranking villains should have appeared to claim the bounty.

But instead of taking down a simple human nad Alvian, the very best had been aggressively deployed—a simply illogical, wasteful approach from the villain syndicate to burn their top resources.

Soone had definitely intervened.

’Who...’

His eyes shut tight as his mind violently flashed back to what had happened with Thalia’s spiked dicines.

Soone had purposefully exacerbated the side effects, hoping to push the alluring girl over the edge.

And now, with Volta’s hot-blooded demise—it was crystal clear. Soone was actively interfering again. Soone deeply hidden in the shadows, playing a far darker, more intimate ga.

It felt like he was seated at a 5D chessboard—his opponent still entirely unseen.

But—

’....Let’s save that woman’s body first.’

He stood tall, his dominant aura suffocating the front rows, and approached a nearby ard guard.

If this was a fast, irreversible death, he wouldn’t have even tried to rewind ti to save her life. But this ti he was fully aware of his own awakened strength. He also figured saving her lush, powerful figure might help him score so deep emotional points—and more importantly, give him a golden chance to violently uncover who was pulling the strings behind the scenes.

If he could capture those villains alive and make them bleed until they talked, he might finally reach the shadowy figure orchestrating this ss.

"S-sir?" The heavily ard guard stiffened, heavily intimidated as Cruxius’s massive fra ca near. Without a single word, Cruxius effortlessly stripped the semi-assault rifle from the man’s hands, unlocking the safety with smooth, practiced ease.

’There was no one to pull strings in the past... so, who?’, he casually thought, as if he completely denied every terrifying reality of the present ti, knowing this entire tiline was going to be aggressively rewritten either way.

Ignoring the guard’s panicked reaction, he raised the cold steel of the gun, his strong finger tightening around the trigger, aiming the barrel directly beneath his own chin.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

’!’

Three deafening shots cracked violently into the ceiling, completely missing his handso face even from point-blank range.

His dark eyes widened as he saw them—two delicate, incredibly soft feminine hands, seemingly materializing out of thin air. Swirling green dinsional portals hovered around their wrists, gripping the heavy rifle with desperate strength and violently forcing the barrel upward.

"MASTER!" Darithi, completely stunned by her master’s sudden, suicidal action, scread in raw shock. Her thighs flexed as she rushed forward, her breasts bouncing heavily with the sudden movent.

The hot gun was now firmly held by four hands—two of Cruxius’s large, masculine ones, and two dismbered, perfectly manicured hands erging from the miniature portals.

’Huh?’ Cruxius stared at the delicate, trembling feminine hands.

Their soft fingers wrapped firmly around his rough ones, desperately forcing the lethal barrel away from his mouth.

He turned slowly toward the chaotic sea of reporters, most of whom were now standing, their faces pale, watching the impossible scene in sheer horror.

A stunning woman stood among them, her deep ruby eyes wide with absolute terror.

She had an incredibly lush, mature figure, her long, silky black hair cascading down her back. She wore a tight, casual office outfit—her white blouse looked ready to completely burst under the extre, heaving pressure of her heavy breasts. The buttons strained tightly over her cleavage, expanding and contracting rapidly due to a violent mix of sudden anger, deep shock, and raw adrenaline.

Her soft hands were stretched frantically forward, the upper halves of her smooth arms completely lost in those sa glowing green portals.

"Wh-what are you DOING, CRUXIUS!" Her voice cracked with intense, passionate rage. Hot tears threatened to fall from her beautiful eyes—only to quickly evaporate in the sheer heat of her overwhelming emotion.

In the blink of an eye, a larger portal engulfed her voluptuous body, instantly teleporting her right beside his towering fra. She glared up at him, her chest brushing intimately against his arm, and then aggressively raised her hand after retracting it back from the portal—

Swish!

Or, she tried to.

Cruxius leaned back effortlessly, his athletic body dodging the emotional blow reflexively—she certainly wasn’t the first passionate woman who had tried to slap his handso face.

His dark eyes, however, remained intensely locked on her flushed, angry features.

’How...?’

For a fleeting, shocking second, his perfect, arrogant mask slipped. True shock flickered across his chiseled face.

He now looked deeply at the beautiful woman who had, until now, been a supposedly uncaring, silent bystander nad Sugar.

She stood intimately before him, her alluring body trembling with rage, wearing the tragic expression of soone who had been deeply, violently broken by ti again and again.

She looked exactly like a passionate woman who had been utterly betrayed by the one man whose bed she had loved the most.

DING!

’System, are you kidding ?!’, Cruxius inwardly yelled, his dark eyes clearly trembling as his gaze raked over the flushed, panting woman. Her visceral reaction, her deep-seated anger, the desperate longing in her ruby eyes—everything about her body language seed to scream only one impossible fact.

She had her past life mories completely intact.

Two won collapsed onto the fractured earth, their delicate shoulders heaving violently. Their skin, usually flawless, was torn and sared with dirt, ash, and blood. Their skin-tight battle suits were shredded in all the wrong places, exposing soft, bruised flesh to the freezing, sulfur-choked air. It reeked of scorched flesh and dying hopes.

Their weapons—blunt and cracked—hung useless in their trembling hands. Even their powers, once radiant and unbreakable, sputtered like dying embers, their remaining strength tethered entirely to their battered bodies and fraying willpower.
