“Yes, yes, yes, it’s all my fault, don’t cry.”
Dan Hanjie cradled her trembling body with guilt and wrapped her in his arms.
The warm spray of water hit both of their bodies. After her grievance had passed, the atmosphere imdiately changed.
Before Qin Youxuan had even co back to her senses, she was already laid down.
After a whole day of taking wedding photos, Qin Youxuan was so tired she couldn’t even be bothered to move her fingers.
Unable to push him off, she could only let him have his way.
When Dan Hanjie had his fill, Qin Youxuan, leaning against his chest, fell asleep and didn’t even know how she was carried out of the bathroom.
When she woke up, it was already bright outside.
The warm sunlight shone on the windowsill, radiating circles of blissful light.

Qin Youxuan had just opened her eyes when she sneezed.
Intending to sit up, she felt dizzy and overwheld and fell back onto the bed.
She reached out to touch her forehead and tragically discovered that she seed to have caught a cold.
It was all Dan Hanjie’s fault—his antics in the bathroom the previous night made her a victim of the virus.

“Ma’am, Mr. Jie has instructed that even if you want to sleep, you must get up for lunch. You cannot go a whole day without eating,” the butler said respectfully from outside the door.
Qin Youxuan turned her head to look at the ti, only to find that it was already noon.
She really was sick, having slept that long.
“I’ll get up right away.”
Qin Youxuan threw back the covers, pressed her swollen head, and climbed up, groggily holding herself up as she went into the bathroom.
After brushing her teeth and washing her face, and changing out of her robes, she finally opened the bedroom door and went downstairs.
Arriving in the living room, she saw the butler already waiting there.
“Ma’am, lunch is all prepared.” The butler pulled out a chair, bowed respectfully.
“Achoo—”
Just as Qin Youxuan was about to respond, she couldn’t help but sneeze again, her face turning red, looking frail and exhausted.
The maternity matron, who was about to hand little Tingye over to her, froze in her steps.
“Don’t let the baby get close to for now; I think I have a cold.”
Qin Youxuan rubbed her nose and said nasally.
She had started to experience nasal congestion; it seed she really had a cold.
As she spoke, Qin Youxuan collapsed weakly onto the sofa.
“What’s the matter, do you feel very unwell?”
Dan Hanjie rushed back to their private villa imdiately after receiving the call.
A doctor accompanied him.
After examining Qin Youxuan, the doctor confird that due to overexertion, her immunity had decreased, leading to a cold.
Fortunately, there was no fever. Since Qin Youxuan was in her lactation period, the doctor only prescribed so cold dicine and did not administer any injections before leaving.
“I get a cold just from taking wedding photos, Dan Hanjie—are there any brides-to-be more unlucky than ?”
Qin Youxuan lay in bed, her pretty face pale without a trace of color, her head propped up on thick pillows, and she was holding a cup of hot water, complaining pitifully.
“It seems even the heavens don’t want to marry you.”
“What nonsense are you talking about?”
Dan Hanjie gave her a tap on the head and took the water cup from her hand.
“It’s just a cold; it will get better in a few days. The wedding will go on as scheduled; you have to marry .”
With that said, he reached out to touch Qin Youxuan’s forehead and felt the slight warmth, his eyebrows furrowing with discontent.
What a quack doctor, daring to tell him she didn’t have a fever.
“I’m fine; it’s just a joke, why so serious? You scared .” Qin Youxuan grabbed his hand, feeling uncomfortable as if her heart was being scratched by a cat from not seeing her son for so long.
