Qin Youxuan blinked her cat-like eyes and agreed very crisply.

Ye Mingi was running too hastily, her heel twisted, and she fell to the ground.
Her slight body lay on the ground, and the pain made her grimace as her knee struck the tiles.
But her mind instantly cleared.
What was she even doing?
Seeing Yu Xiuzhun, why was she in such a hurry?
Going to him now, was it to ask whether he had taken action against Ye Family?
If he denied it, what could she do to him?
If he admitted it outright, what could she do to him?
In front of Yu Xiuzhun, she was never the willful lady she could be elsewhere.
Ye Mingi picked herself up from the ground, straightened her skirt with her hand, and just as she stepped forward, her ankle throbbed painfully.

“What happened to your foot?”
Qin Youxuan saw Ye Mingi, who looked downtrodden and was hobbling back, and stood up in surprise from in front of the surveillance area.
She walked over and helped her sit down.
“I’m fine, just twisted my ankle by accident.” Ye Mingi bit her lip, with cold sweat already forming on her forehead.
The old her would have nestled into her parents’ arms and acted spoiled over even the slightest pain.
Now, she even endured such unbearable pain and walked back on her own.
The determination in Ye Mingi’s eyes was heart-wrenching.
“You’ve sprained it, why didn’t you let soone pick you up? Walking back on your own, you could have made it worse.” Qin Youxuan furrowed her brows and quickly turned to instruct her assistant to fetch an ice pack.
She applied it to Ye Mingi’s ankle.
After a while, she removed it and, seeing no swelling, let out a slight sigh of relief.
“It probably isn’t too serious, but you’d better not walk around much today. Just sit here. I saw Yu Xiuzhun enter the lobby a bit earlier; I’m worried sothing might happen, so I’m going to check it out. If you feel uncomfortable, don’t force yourself – let an assistant take you to the hospital for a check-up.”
Qin Youxuan noticed that Ye Mingi didn’t respond, so she stepped out.
“Miss, let help you to a seat up front,” the assistant approached and offered politely.
“Help to the front of the monitor,” Ye Mingi thought for a mont, then spoke up.
“Okay.”
The assistant stepped forward and helped Ye Mingi to the chair, adjusting her position before stepping back.
“If the miss doesn’t have any other instructions, I’ll go down to handle things.”
“Go ahead, I’m fine,” Ye Mingi, watching the figure of Yu Xiuzhun appearing on the surveillance screen, had a complex look in her eyes.
Her fair fingers gently lifted, touching the man’s silhouette on the monitor screen, then suddenly withdrew.
