Chapter 1525: Chapter 1525: If You Don’t Speak Up, No One Will Think You’re Mute
“What’s wrong with your foot, why are you running away?” Yu Xiuzhun punched the mattress, with a loud ‘bang’, Mingi instinctively hugged her head in fright.
A few seconds passed before she realized what he had just said.
“It’s sprained. It’s none of your business.”
Mingi spoke weakly.
The mont her words fell, she saw Yu Xiuzhun squat down and press his hand on her ankle.
“Hiss—”
Mingi instinctively inhaled sharply, her little face contorted with pain, wrinkled like a stead bun.
The next second, Yu Xiuzhun stood up, walked over to the wardrobe, and changed into a set of clothes calmly.
He turned around, scooped her up, and strode out the door.
“Where are you taking ? Mr. Yu, I want to go ho…”
“Shut up, if you nag anymore I’ll throw you down from upstairs!” Yu Xiuzhun growled viciously and in an instant had carried Mingi out of the villa.
The car headed towards the hospital.
After getting out of the car, Mingi was still securely held in his arms.
Enduring the gaze of passersby, she shyly buried her face in Yu Xiuzhun’s chest.
For the first ti, Yu Xiuzhun realized she would lean on him actively. His lips unconsciously curved into a smile, his arms holding her tightened slightly, and he stepped into the doctor’s duty room.
The assistant heard the news and had hurried over to take care of all the paperwork in advance.
“Mr. Yu, this way, please.” The attending physician greeted them respectfully.
“It’s not who’s sick, it’s her.” Yu Xiuzhun placed Mingi on a chair and pointed at her ankle, “She’s so clumsy she sprained it. It’s swollen badly. Take a look and see what’s the matter.”
“…I’m not clumsy.” Mingi muttered quietly.
She locked eyes with Yu Xiuzhun’s cold and fierce gaze, and fell silent again.
If he hadn’t been rough with her, her foot injury wouldn’t have gotten so serious.
And now he still blad her for being clumsy.
Mingi’s eyes reddened, not wanting to deal with him anymore.
The doctor didn’t dare ask any further and approached to carefully examine Mingi’s ankle.
“It appears that the ankle is slightly dislocated. We need to take an X-ray to see the condition before we can proceed with treatnt,” the doctor quickly stood up from in front of Mingi and instructed a nurse to take her down for examination.
“Are you blind? Can’t you see she sprained her ankle? Would she need to see you if she could walk? Go get a wheelchair now!” Yu Xiuzhun cursed imdiately upon seeing Mingi trying to get up, kicking the doctor’s knee.
“Yes, yes, yes, it’s my oversight.”
The doctor quivered and hurriedly sent the nurse to fetch a wheelchair.
Mingi wanted to say it was unnecessary, but facing Yu Xiuzhun’s displeased eyes, she thought better of it and shut her mouth.
At least he wasn’t scolding her.
After the X-rays were done, even before the doctor had a look, Yu Xiuzhun had already glanced over the images.
“You don’t understand, what’s there for you to look at.” Mingi couldn’t help but retort upon seeing his actions.
He examined them so seriously, as if he truly understood.
“Thump—”
Just after Mingi finished speaking, Yu Xiuzhun raised his hand and knocked on her forehead.
“No one will think you’re mute if you don’t speak.” Yu Xiuzhun passed the X-rays to the doctor. “The bones aren’t dislocated, it should just be a strain. Make sure her foot is properly immobilized, prescribe so anti-swelling dication.”
“…”
Could he actually read them?
Mingi was stunned, as if she had discovered a new continent.
Then she looked fearfully at the doctor, “Don’t listen to his nonsense, please take a good look. I’ve twisted it several tis, and it’s so swollen, could it be a dislocation?”
Mr. Yu must be talking nonsense.
