“That’s not what I ant, you’re overthinking it. Do you really think a pig could be as good-looking as you?” Qin Youxuan lightly patted his head, coaxing him as though he were a child. “Are you full? Is there anything else you’d like to eat?”

Dan Hanjie flashed a devilish smile and spat out two words.
The pause was so brief that Qin Youxuan didn’t catch his aning right away.
In the next second, her face turned scarlet.
“Dan Hanjie!”
“Don’t worry, I can’t eat you right now. So, I’ll keep it on credit.”

She glanced at Dan Hanjie’s injured right leg, and her feline-like eyes instantly dimd.
If he fully understood the severity of his injury, would he still be in such good spirits, teasing her?

She sat down next to him.
Dan Hanjie pulled her into his arms with ease, catching the hint of worry on her face. His enchanting eyes flickered slightly.

But they had been apart for far too long, and he wished desperately to keep her by his side, every second of every minute.

Then, recalling sothing, she spoke with a bit of urgency, “Let them co up. I almost forgot.”
Qin Youxuan raised her head and gave her forehead a light slap.
“It’s probably Ru bringing Tingye. He’s been crying nonstop without seeing his mom and dad, so I asked her to bring him here.” Qin Youxuan sat back on the edge of the bed and looked at Dan Hanjie.
Seeing him frown slightly, she assud he didn’t want to see Su Yiru.
“Ru is just worried about and ca to check in; she won’t stay long.”
“And the brat?” Dan Hanjie suddenly spoke.
“…” Qin Youxuan froze.
Dan Hanjie’s large hand was already at her waist, pinching a bit of the tender flesh there as he gritted his teeth and said, “We’ve just reconciled, and you don’t expect to keep that third wheel in the hospital, do you?”
“What third wheel? Tingye is your son.” Qin Youxuan huffed, glaring at him.
“He’s still a third wheel. Let him stay wherever he feels like, just not near us!”
