Gradually unlocking her hands, she tried to be a bit bolder.
The jet ski suddenly jolted, Yu Xiuzhun turned sharply, the angle was too tricky, and the jet ski overturned, tossing both of them into the sea.
Ye Mingi didn’t even have ti to react before the water engulfed her head.
She couldn’t even scream as the waves kept her from lifting her head.
Panicked, she forgot she knew how to swim.
She watched herself sink further below.
Just when she thought she’d end up buried at sea due to misplaced trust in Yu Xiuzhun, an arm suddenly grabbed her shoulder.
Her survival instincts kicked in, and Ye Mingi instinctively grabbed that hand.
“Swoosh—”
Both burst through the surface, and Ye Mingi, seeing the person before her, imdiately clenched her fist to punch Yu Xiuzhun’s chest.
“I knew you weren’t dependable, you almost scared to death just now!”
Ye Mingi’s barely suppressed panic and tears broke through in an instant.
Yu Xiuzhun didn’t say a word, just pulled her into his embrace, letting Ye Mingi vent.
After a while, sensing her emotions settle down, he slightly parted his lips.
“We’re already near the coast; if you just stand up, you won’t drown.”

Ye Mingi stared blankly for a good ten seconds before blinking her eyes, raising her little head from Yu Xiuzhun’s embrace, and looking around.
The jet ski they were on had already flipped over, resting on the sea surface.
About a dozen rescue speedboats surrounded them, even if Yu Xiuzhun hadn’t found her in ti, soone would have saved her.
