Without a word, Yu Xiuzhun wrapped Ye Mingi up and took her back to the coast.
They stayed at a nearby star-rated hotel by the dock.
Knowing that Ye Mingi would feel uncomfortable, Yu Xiuzhun placed her in a bathtub filled with hot water and then left the bathroom.

She originally wanted to ask Yu Xiuzhun if he could bring her a set of clothes, but upon opening the door, she realized there was no one in the room.

The doorbell rang.
Ye Mingi snapped back to reality, eting Yu Xiuzhun’s probing, mischievous gaze.
“What are you thinking about?”
“N-Nothing, I’ll get the clothes.” Ye Mingi hurriedly stood up, just about to walk to the door when Yu Xiuzhun grabbed her arm.
“You stay, I’ll get it.” Yu Xiuzhun glanced at her, his voice becoming hoarse.
His eyes flickered, and he stepped to the door, opening it a crack, taking the clothes handed over by his assistant, and then closing the door with a “bang.”
“I’ll go change first.” Ye Mingi took the clothes from his hand, not daring to look Yu Xiuzhun in the eyes, quickly rushing into the room and shutting the door.
She lingered inside for a long ti before coming out dressed.
Taking a glance at the living room, Yu Xiuzhun was nowhere to be seen.
Ye Mingi was about to call out when she heard voices coming from the balcony.
As she approached, Yu Xiuzhun had already changed into clothes, a silver suit that made him look extraordinarily handso, yet a bit less sharp.
The assistant stood respectfully in front of him, reporting sothing, and Yu Xiuzhun’s expression wasn’t pleasant.
Seeing Ye Mingi standing beside, the conversation halted abruptly.
The atmosphere beca very tense.
“Finished changing?”
Yu Xiuzhun walked up to her, casually reverting in an instant.
“What were you talking about?” Ye Mingi keenly sensed sothing was off.
“Just about the eting.” Yu Xiuzhun raised an eyebrow.
“…”
Ye Mingi didn’t believe him and wanted to inquire further, but out of the corner of her eye, she glimpsed the file in the assistant’s hand, its number very familiar.
Ye Mingi’s mind quickly flashed to the files she had seen on Yu Xiuzhun’s computer.
She hadn’t copied them, but she had rembered.
