Capítulo 2143: Chapter 2143: Daddy’s Bad, Baby Doesn’t Love
“Alright, Tingye, my handso boy, I’ll help you get dressed.” Qin Youxuan took the little shirt and vest from his hands and gently picked up the little guy.
Just as she was about to take off Tingye’s clothes, her hand was suddenly stopped by Dan Hanjie.
“So young and already vain, let him dress himself.” Dan Hanjie said with a stern face, glaring at the little rascal who started competing with him for his wife first thing in the morning, gritting his teeth.
“Stop it, Tingye’s so little, how could he dress himself?” Qin Youxuan pushed his hand away and continued helping the little guy change his clothes.
Less than three seconds later, Dan Hanjie grabbed her hand again, with a calm face, “He’s already over a year old, not that small!”
“…”
Who told him that being over a year old ant he wasn’t a kid anymore?
Tingye is so sensible for his age, yet he doesn’t care and keeps getting jealous of his son every day.
“Want to be handso!”
The little guy waited for a long ti but didn’t get his mom’s help with getting dressed. So he picked up the little shirt himself and started diligently putting it on.
Initially, he put his arms in the wrong holes a few tis, but by the fourth try, he got it right.
Imitating the adults, he started buttoning it himself.
After a long ti of trying, his little fingers still couldn’t get the buttons through, and he was getting a bit anxious.
His chubby face turned red as he mumbled under his breath, all the while cursing Dan Hanjie.
“Bad Dad… Baby doesn’t love…”
“Want to be handso… Don’t want Dad…”
“Co here, I’ll help you.” Dan Hanjie’s enchanting eyes flickered as he looked at the little guy’s pitiful face, beckoning him with a hand.
Little Tingye paused, blinking his shrewd big eyes, giving Dan Hanjie a glance, as if doubting whether he was fooling him.
“Fine, if you don’t want it…”
“Want, want, want!”
Without Mom, having Dad was also fine, the main thing was to wear handso clothes!
The little guy’s big eyes twinkled, clutching his small clothes as he ran towards Dan Hanjie and jumped straight into his arms.
His little mouth puckered, moving close to Dan Hanjie’s face, planting a fragrant kiss.
“Little rascal.” Dan Hanjie’s thin lips parted slightly, coldly squeezing out a few words, picking up the little guy, placing him on his lap, and reaching out to button his shirt.
He’d rather do it himself than let Qin Youxuan fuss over this little brat.
His wife should have eyes only for him.
His hand touched the pendant hanging around the little guy’s neck, pulling it out, his eyes darkened.
Long fingers stroked the little wooden carving left by Dan Hanxi, his gaze flickering slightly.
“Mom, am I handso?”
Once dressed, the little guy’s soft body imdiately bounced out of Dan Hanjie’s arms, rushing towards Qin Youxuan.
He hugged Qin Youxuan’s leg, looking up at her with eyes full of expectation.
“Handso, there’s no one more handso than Tingye.” Qin Youxuan scooped him up, adjusting his collar.
After tidying him up, she took his hand and walked towards the door.
“Is everything ready for the ritual?”
Seated in the car, Qin Youxuan then looked up and asked.
“I had everything sent to the cetery in advance; we can go straight there.” Dan Hanjie’s face showed little expression, his eyes slightly downcast as he wrapped his arm around mother and son.
Today marks the seventh week since Dan Hanxi’s death.
They say if the deceased had anything left unsaid, they’d co back today. Who knows if Dan Hanxi has any last farewell words for them.
The journey to the cetery was quiet.
Adults could feel the sorrow of parting, but the child seed unfazed.
As soon as Tingye got out of the car, he was very excited, breaking free from Dan Hanjie’s hand, and started climbing the hill with his tiny legs.
