Chapter 305: Don’t Let Anyone Know
The night was just beginning.
Dan Hanjie propped himself up with one hand by the bedside, gazing at the deeply asleep Qin Youxuan. His piercing dark eyes filled with affection.
After a while, he reached out to lift the covers and got out of bed.
He made sure she was still asleep before leaving the bedroom.
“Mr. Jie.”
Yao stood straight in the office. Seeing Dan Hanjie erge from the bedroom, he respectfully bowed.
“Take this docunt for notarization and seal off any information. Do not let anyone know for now,” Dan Hanjie casually ordered, sinking his tall figure into the sofa.
His voice was indifferent with a trace of coldness.
“Mr. Jie, if the others from the Dan family find out about your marriage, I’m afraid…” Yao looked at the marriage agreent in his hand and furrowed his brows in worry.
“You know how to deal with it. Be discreet,” Dan Hanjie lifted his head, his enchanting cold eyes flashing danger.
“This is a big deal, we might not be able to keep it hidden. Once known, it could affect not only Dan Group but the entire consortium.”
“Do I need to teach you how to handle such a trivial matter?”
“…”
Yao closed his mouth and respectfully nodded.
After so thought, he still asked, “And what about Jin Lan?”
“Keep up appearances. As for what Jin Chenye wants to do, keep an eye on him. When the ti is right, we can lend him a hand. We both want to save Jin Lan for now,” Dan Hanjie responded coldly with a smirk.
He did not exhaust all this effort to save a person just to have them locked up in prison.
Jin Lan had other uses.
“What if Miss Qin finds out…”
“I will cut your tongue out,” Dan Hanjie’s voice was calm yet threatening.
“…”
Yao fell silent.
He didn’t dare to utter another word.
“Anything else?” Dan Hanjie raised his cold eyebrow.
Hearing the impatience in his voice, Yao quickly bowed and retreated.
Dan Hanjie sat on the sofa, his stern face devoid of any expressions. His dark eyes deepened as the night progressed…
Three in the morning.
Qin Youxuan woke up again.
She squinted her eyes and moved her fingers. Her whole body felt weak.
She tried to lift her legs, but they were so numb she could hardly feel them. She was in pain every ti she moved.
Dammit, Dan Hanjie.
He went too far!
He should have at least let her eat before punishing her. She was tired and hungry, no wonder she felt dizzy…
Qin Youxuan rubbed her temples, just about to get up when she realized she was alone in bed.
The room was pitch-black.
The night outside the window was still thick.
Where had he gone so late at night?
Qin Youxuan was just about to turn on the light when she spotted a flickering light on the balcony. She paused for a mont.
After squinting for a few seconds, she realized it was the flickering light from the tip of a cigarette.
“Dan Hanjie…”
Just as Qin Youxuan started speaking, the figure on the balcony turned around and walked towards her.
He reached out and turned on the light in the room.
“Why are you awake?”
With a furrowed brow, Dan Hanjie looked at Qin Youxuan who was still half-lying on the edge of the bed, and asked softly.
“Where is this… When did we get back?”
This was clearly the master bedroom in Yujing Villa. But hadn’t she fallen asleep in the rest area of the Dan Group?
Qin Youxuan pressed her temples, once again feeling disoriented.
Why was it every ti she fell asleep she would wake up in a different place?
Could it be that she never left at all, and the rest area, the marriage contract, it was all a dream…
No, she decided to go back to sleep.

Just as Qin Youxuan was about to crawl back under the covers, she was pulled into Dan Hanjie’s arms. He placed a hand on her forehead, “What’s wrong? You seem dazed.”
