“Am I dreaming?” Qin Youxuan pulled his hand away and pinched her own face.
“Did hunger wake you up?” Dan Hanjie asked quietly, his head bent slightly to touch her forehead.

Qin Youxuan quickly caught hold of his arm, “Even if it is his job, he should be treated with consideration. I’m alright, I can find sothing to snack on.”

“Hmm.” He casually responded, pinching her earlobe, and again asked, “What do you want to eat?”
“You know how to cook?”
“Should I take that question as a challenge?” Dan Hanjie gave her a cold look.

“I’m not picky, cook anything that’s quick. I’m really starving!” Qin Youxuan got up from the couch and followed him into the kitchen.

“I forgot to feed you.” He pulled her into his arms, his chin pointing towards the plate, “Aren’t you hungry? Why aren’t you eating?”

Qin Youxuan blinked her cat-like eyes, stopped overthinking and started digging into her food with her cutlery.
“Is it good?” Dan Hanjie suddenly asked.
His long fingers played with a strand of her hair, circling it around his finger. Seeing her enjoying her food, his eyes were filled with affection.
He thought he would never cook for anyone in his life, but he broke that rule for her.
Seeing her satisfied expression, he felt happier than closing any business deal.
“Hm, it’s delicious.”
Qin Youxuan had eaten half of it, while still enthusiastically sweeping over the food, she quickly replied to him.
After eating a few more bites, she was nearly full when she rembered a crucial point, “Dan Hanjie, you only cooked for one, aren’t you hungry?”
