"I’ll go with you this afternoon, and hear what Grandpa has to say," Yin Yang said with a smile.
"Sure, but it won’t help you much since you don’t study this," Xu Mumu replied with a smile.
"I did study it! My grandpa used to love teaching students, and when there was no one to teach, he would pull in to learn. I’ve learned a lot of the stuff you’re studying now," Yin Yang said with a smile. If Professor Song hadn’t been reported by his own student, he would definitely be more enthusiastic about teaching now.

"What did you learn back then?" Xu Mumu asked curiously, looking at Yin Yang.

"Let take this in," Xu Mumu rubbed her temples, pondering his willingness to disclose his wealth without fear of her making off with his riches.

"Alright, go rest for a bit, Grandpa will start teaching soon," Yin Yang said with a smile. He hadn’t been so blunt with Xu Mumu before, so the shock she felt now was enormous.

Lying in bed, Xu Mumu thought of the treasures she had hidden away. They didn’t need to be hidden at all, as Yin Yang wouldn’t care for them.
Soon enough, she set aside those thoughts, focusing on resting to prepare for Professor Song’s public lecture.
When the alarm went off, Xu Mumu opened her eyes, having dozed off for a bit. After refreshing herself, she and Yin Yang, carrying their books, headed to school.
Professor Song’s public lecture was in a large classroom, filled with many attendees.
They arrived relatively late, and the two found seats more towards the back.
Just before the lecture began, Professor Song arrived, clutching his books.
Professor Song exuded vigor, wearing reading glasses fitting of a scholarly professor.
As soon as Professor Song arrived, the classroom hushed.
Holding significant respect within the school as a distinguished old professor, students showed him great regard.
Xu Mumu glanced around, noticing nearly all students from their major were present, along with others from the physics departnt. Despite belonging to different classes, mixed lessons gave them so familiarity.
Seeing the quiet attendance, Professor Song began his lecture after ringing the start bell.
Listening to Professor Song’s lecture covered topics she had learned in university, which she had already studied. Lost in contemplation, Xu Mumu realized she had been learning far ahead, highlighting the disparity with her classmates.
Expecting Professor Song to delve into profound topics, Xu Mumu had brought her notebook prepared for advanced note-taking.
Despite that, she listened intently throughout the lecture. Thanks to Professor Song’s intriguing delivery, even subjects she had learned beca insightful anew.

"Yes, but Sir Song’s lectures are fascinating. He seldom explains in detail, preferring to hand books to self-study, offering help only when I’m stuck," Xu Mumu replied with a smile.
"Isn’t that great?" Yin Yang smiled, giving her hand a squeeze under the desk.
"Okay," Xu Mumu nodded. Since most of her learning was self-directed, it indeed honed her capabilities.
From the start of the lecture, Professor Song noticed them but refrained from greeting during the class. Afterward, many who didn’t understand hurried to him with their inquiries.
Surrounded by students eager for answers, Professor Song had no ti to greet Xu Mumu and Yin Yang.
The break after class was brief, and the next session began soon, leaving so questions unasked as the class resud.
Thankfully, those with lingering questions noted them down. Even without imdiate access to Professor Song, guidance from other teachers or library resources remained available.
The two public lectures passed harmoniously. With classes scheduled next, Xu Mumu and Yin Yang returned to their respective disciplines.
Cuddling her books as she walked to class, Su Yue’e briskly caught up to her.
"Mumu, I’m sorry," Su Yue’e apologized, looking at Xu Mumu.
"Mm," Xu Mumu said flatly, not intending to converse much with Su Yue’e.
"I slipped, and Lin Shuxue heard it, leading to everyone knowing. It wasn’t my intention for it to spread so widely," Su Yue’e pursed her lips, reluctantly, fearing Xu Mumu would tell Professor Song to revoke her current job.
"I’m over it. Just don’t hover around ," Xu Mumu said, giving Su Yue’e a glance.
"Could you not ask Professor Song and the departnt to revoke my position?" Su Yue’e pleaded with Xu Mumu, cherishing this dream opportunity.
"As long as you perform well, no one will interfere," Xu Mumu replied, slightly pursing her lips before swiftly walking away.
