Duanmu Huai admitted that in the mont Taraxin caught him with a Stasis Field, he truly considered pretending he hadn’t noticed anything, allowing himself to be captured and taken back to Taraxin’s museum.

After all, for players, Taraxin’s museum is the place in the entire ga that amasses the most wealth, though it has just as many defense systems, and Taraxin, this despicable, shaless, vile character, likes to trap people. For players, this notorious Space Undead Lord is like the Giant Dragon in a fantasy story, hiding the Princess, treasures, and legendary weapons in its lair. Defeat this Dragon, and countless riches await!

With Duanmu Huai’s strength as the God of Destruction, he can utterly destroy Taraxin down to its roots as long as he doesn’t care about losing this body. Although this deceitful, cunning, despicable fellow never reveals its true body, always appearing through possession or remote control. Even if defeated, Taraxin would just transfer its consciousness to another shell.

But the God of Destruction doesn’t concern himself with such logic. As long as Duanmu Huai targets Taraxin as an individual, he can annihilate it.

Because all things must end, and even the supposedly eternal Space Undead are no exception.

And once Taraxin is erased, his museum will belong to him, considering Taraxin’s collecting habits, it might possibly contain everything from Earth’s inception until now. And if he can obtain these...

Honestly, just the thought made Duanmu Huai drool.

But he ultimately resisted.

Because this world needs him to save it— a Star God is roaming in the rift between Subspace and the material world. He doesn’t have much ti to squander on this; considering how distant Taraxin’s museum might be from this world, eventually, the Judge’s professional ethics triumphed over greed.

Since Taraxin is still alive, he will have a chance to et him sooner or later.

It won’t be too late to take it then. Anyway, what’s yours is mine, and what’s mine is still mine.

".........."

Taraxin remained silent, its glowing green eyes fixated on Duanmu Huai, fingers twitching slightly. While Duanmu Huai held the Power Axe, coldly glaring at it.

"I advise you not to think about using the Superdinsional Maze on , Alien."

Duanmu Huai knew what Taraxin intended. As a Space Undead Lord, a BOSS-level entity, Taraxin’s close combat skills are quite the opposite of Duanmu Huai’s. In fact, a single Insect Swarm’s vanguard can easily kill this fellow several tis over.

In close-quarter battles, Duanmu Huai is invincible in front of Taraxin.

But Taraxin also knows this, so it excels at underhanded, cunning, despicable, shaless tactics.

The Superdinsional Maze Duanmu Huai ntioned is one of them.

Players refer to it humorously as the "Dream Treasure" for a simple reason: it’s like a Pokeball that seals targets within a four-dinsional cube maze. If Taraxin faces an enemy hard to handle, it opens the maze and releases the captive inside.

The process is much like throwing a Pokeball, except what’s locked inside the "Pokeball" aren’t ordinary figures, including but not limited to the Imperial Guards, Wolf Guard, Judges, War Nuns......

"I assure you, if you throw in there, you’ll regret it."

Duanmu Huai squinted as he stared at the Space Undead Lord before him. As the God of Destruction, he can annihilate everything, and naturally, the re four-dinsional cube maze is no exception. If Taraxin is foolish enough to imprison him inside, Duanmu Huai doesn’t mind directly blowing up that damned Pokeball.

By then, what the things trapped inside would do to Taraxin isn’t sothing Duanmu Huai needs to concern himself with.

"You are threatening ."

Faced with Duanmu Huai’s warning, Taraxin’s tone was icy, solemn. This was normal; in its eyes, what stood before it was rely a lesser being.

Amusing, but foolish.

"Of course, I am threatening you."

Duanmu Huai stared at Taraxin, expressionlessly. He admitted he thought of leaving this despicable, shaless Alien alone for now, but if the other didn’t behave, Duanmu Huai was equally unbothered by the idea of eradicating this fellow entirely right here.

After all, the era of Fear of Death ended long ago, and Space Undead have beco part of the past.

Humans are now the rulers, and relics from millions of years ago best stay in their graves and quietly weather away; stirring trouble only seems irrational.

Duanmu Huai looked at Taraxin with the sa disdain and indifference, just like how Taraxin looked at Duanmu Huai. The latter was scrutinizing a foolish, short-lived, and ignorant Barbarian Race that erged after them, much like humans watching chimpanzees. No matter how smart they appear, they can’t reach the level of humans. Occasionally, a few chimpanzees learn to use mobile phones like humans, earning more attention.

The forr sees a fossil long overdue to disappear from history. Like dinosaur bones in a museum, once dominating Earth, ruling all. But in the era of humans, their only purpose is to sit obediently and serve as decorations in museums.

No matter how mighty and powerful they once were, or how rampant across the planet, it’s all history.

Just like the Space Undead.

For humans, antiquity ans nothing—Ancient Saints are old, Fear of Death is old, Space Undead is old, spirit races are old, Green Skins are old too.

They conquered the Universe, conquered the stars long before humans existed.

But then what?

Wars aren’t about survival of the winners, but survival of the survivors.

Only humans have laughed till the end, becoming the Milky Way’s rulers.

While Ancient Saints, Fear of Death, Space Undead, spirit races have beco the dust of history, insignificant specks vanishing into the endless darkness of the Universe.

We can fail countless tis, but we can still rise again.

The Golden Age, Dark Age, Great Expedition Era, Split Era, Original Casting Era—human history is painful yet long-lasting, but they are still here. Unlike other races that falter, or wrap up early. Even in the end, they launched the Black Hole Plan, resetting everything—not out of despairing surrender, but a faith that humans can rise once more.

Humans won’t choose to slumber cowardly like the Space Undead, nor will they live in constant panic like the Spirit race, rely running for their lives. They will keep pushing forward, and continuing, repeating until their goals are achieved.

But you are not like them.

Duanmu Huai stared at Taraxin mockingly.

The lifeless steel constructs have no life, and thus, no purpose. Eternity only equates to nihilism. The Undead’s dynasty remains, but it is indistinguishable from destruction.

They can no longer create, nor possess anything.

Taraxin’s gaze flickered twice, perhaps its glowing light bulb didn’t flicker, or maybe it did. But it didn’t matter. After a long silence, it looked towards Duanmu Huai again.

"You ntioned a deal, so what can you offer ?"

"I can guarantee not to kill you now."

Duanmu Huai’s response was calm and composed.

"I believe this should be a profitable trade for you. All you need to do is turn around, take this junk, leave this world, and never co back."

"Given your understanding of , you should know this isn’t an amusing joke."

Taraxin’s voice seed frivolous, while Duanmu Huai raised an eyebrow.

"Perhaps, I’m not joking with you."

"..............."

Taraxin fell into silence again, then he spoke.

"Your little band is quite interesting; if they were to vanish, it would be quite problematic for you."

"Solemna is also a good place; if it were blown to pieces, it would be a great pity."

Duanmu Huai blocked Taraxin’s vague threat with a single sentence— I know where your ho is, and I know which class you’re in. If you dare to do anything that displeases , I’ll make sure you’re displeased too.

You wouldn’t want to see your museum smashed, would you?

"I’m quite superstitious; if my friends happen to disappear, or get struck by lightning, I’ll bla soone for not upholding their agreent with ; by then, I won’t be courteous."

Duanmu Huai was confident, even if the monk runs, he can’t escape the temple; unless Taraxin wants to discard its millions of years’ worth of collection, otherwise I refuse to believe you won’t feel the pain!

"............"

Taraxin didn’t answer imdiately, it stared at Duanmu Huai, scrutinizing him thoroughly.

"Interesting."

Finally, it spoke.

"It seems we both are hiding sothing."

"Then you should also understand, you won’t have any ans against ."

Duanmu Huai knew Taraxin saw through him, but he didn’t mind. Actually, Duanmu Huai’s current state is indeed similar to Taraxin, both belong to the remote manipulation flow. Only Duanmu Huai raised this account himself, while Taraxin’s account— is one hundred percent stolen.

Duanmu Huai can eliminate Taraxin because he’s the God of Destruction, this falls within the divine position’s scope. However, Taraxin clearly can’t eliminate Duanmu Huai— the Space Undead doesn’t particularly excel in soul-related skills; the Spirit race is more adept in this area.

Manipulating space and ti are indeed its specialties.

"Looks like we’ve reached an agreent."

Taraxin chose to step back; it was actually very curious about Duanmu Huai. Initially, Taraxin rely thought this girl was an interesting human in this world. But surprisingly, the opponent was very familiar with him, not only calling his na without hesitation but also well-versed in his actions, and possessed the special ability to act within the Stasis Field.

Moreover, she threatened to kill him... Hmm, Taraxin said it’s getting increasingly interested in this human.

However, there’s no rush. Humans as fascinating as this won’t easily die.

Although it can’t make a move on her, monitoring is an option, perhaps an opportunity will arise to capture her.

Of course, by then, Taraxin decided to also bring her little band over to keep its collection company so they won’t feel lonely.

Hmm, by then, place them in the chanical Religion exhibit area, seems quite interesting.

While Taraxin was pondering, Duanmu Huai was also thinking.

He doesn’t believe Taraxin would let him go so easily, but it doesn’t matter; Space Undead have no affinity with Subspace, and it can’t possibly follow him persistently. But following is fine; by the ti Duanmu Huai returns to his world, perhaps he’ll find a chance to deal with Taraxin and then take over its museum entirely.

Duanmu Huai and Taraxin exchanged glances, harboring the sa thoughts.

Next ti, let’s strike.
