Chapter 910: Chapter 641 Accidental Discovery Chapter 910: Chapter 641 Accidental Discovery The Dark Region was as dark as ever.

Philray glared at the Guard beside him with dissatisfaction, waiting for a report from the Scout ahead.

Ever since word had spread from the First Family, many families had dispatched their own patrol Guards to search the outskirts of the city for any suspicious outsiders. There had been no significant findings, however, aside from occasionally encountering a few Gray Dwarves and Goblins.

Had Mother Angeste truly received a divine ssage from Rose?

This thought flickered through Philray’s mind before he hastily dismissed it. The cri of fabricating a divine ssage was a serious one; even the matriarch of the First Family could not escape unscathed. And seeing how the First Family had indeed been vigorously participating in the search, it was hard to suspect any foul play from Mother Angeste.

Still, this did not an things were as simple as the rumors suggested.

Just then, a Drow Elf Soldier hurried back, moving as lightly as a cat without making a single sound. It didn’t speak but quickly made a series of hand gestures to Philray—Drow Elves conducted their Secret Operations in utter silence after leaving the city, using a series of hand signs to communicate with each other. Even in the darkness, Philray could discern the aning of the Soldier’s gestures.

“Lady Fegina demands you imdiately lead your team to rendezvous with her. A discovery has been made.”

“What discovery?”

Philray frowned with a grim expression, fiercely gesturing for more information. The other quickly responded with more hand signs.

“A hidden passageway, a tomb.”

“Tch————!”

At this, Philray couldn’t help but click his tongue. The Dark Region was mysterious and complex, with many secrets buried within. The sa was true for tombs. In fact, many ancient tombs have been buried deep in the Dark Region, only to be uncovered due to various reasons over ti.

These tombs were extrely dangerous but also held considerable benefits. If one was lucky, they could uncover Relics or even Divine Artifacts from the Ancient Era within the tombs. But with bad luck, like disturbing the slumber of a Lich—well, that was another story altogether.

Clearly understanding Fegina’s call to action, Philray knew that both she and Fegina were mbers of the Third Family, with Fegina being the eldest daughter and Philray the second. Fegina, ever ambitious, had long desired to beco the Mother of the Third Family and was also very cautious of her sisters plotting behind her back.

Thus, Philray was well aware that being summoned by her sister was unlikely to be for anything good.

Still, she steeled herself and led her Soldiers deeper into the passageways of the Dark Region. Soon, beside a tunnel, Philray saw her sister Fegina and her accompanying Soldiers.

“Sister.”

Without speaking, Philray quickly made a hand gesture, using hand signs to greet Fegina.

“Good timing, my dear sister.”

While responding, Fegina pointed at the cave in front of them.

“I’ve found a tomb that has yet to be explored by anyone. Shall we check it out together?”

“…………….”

Philray hesitated for a mont, then nodded. She didn’t know if Fegina had indeed found sothing or wanted to use the opportunity to bury her in the Dark Region—or perhaps both. With no choice left, she gave a nod and gestured, leading her own Soldiers to join Fegina in entering the cave ahead.

The interior did indeed hold an ancient tomb, but perhaps due to the passage of ti, everything had all but dissolved into dust, and one could only scarcely make out traces of manmade debris.

“There’s nothing here.”

Philray cast a Divine Art, afterward showing a look of dissatisfaction.

“It’s just an empty ruin.”

“We’ll know once we go in.”

Fegina dismissed her sister’s protest and started walking forward. Philray followed, her mind racing with thoughts of how Fegina intended to handle her—was it an accident waiting to happen, a murder, or so other sche? Philray was sure Fegina must have had a good reason to fulfill her own purposes. After all, she was a High Priest of the Spider Queen, not so lowly male.

Like Philray had said, the entire tomb seed empty, void of anything that might have been there before. Fegina, however, seed unconcerned and walked forward, while Philray, tightly gripping her Five-Headed Snake Whip, contemplated how she would explain to her mother if she truly killed her sister.

“Oh, we have a discovery.”

Fegina’s voice rang out suddenly, startling Philray. She lifted her head and looked forward, seeing at the end of the tomb a chair bearing a robed skeleton. It appeared to be an unlucky Mage, and behind the remains stood a tall, black Human-shaped Armor, its Armor marked with skulls and War Hamrs, as well as an odd Double-Headed Eagle insignia.

Maybe it was the Mage’s emblem?

“It’s just a suit of Armor, sister.”

Philray spoke up, no longer using hand signs but a slightly dissatisfied tone of voice.

“It doesn’t show any magical aura, and my Divine Arts can’t sense any Strength in it.”

“But I see it differently. Go on and check it out.”

“……..”

Philray fought back the urge to lash out at Fegina with her Five-Headed Snake Whip. First, she cast several Divine Arts on herself, bolstering her Defense before motioning two Soldiers to follow her forward.

As luck would have it, Philray could tell at a glance that the skeleton sitting in the chair wasn’t a Lich, just an ordinary corpse, which was sowhat of a relief. Nonetheless, she remained on high alert, warily moving forward, all the while keeping an eye out for traps around her and ever more wary of her sister launching an attack from behind.

But perhaps Philray was too preoccupied with what lay behind her, and as a result, she overlooked the danger right in front of her.

“Click.”

The floor beneath their feet shifted slightly, and in the next mont, the entire tomb began to shake violently. Imdiately after, the walls on both sides crumbled abruptly, and several human-shaped armors, wielding longswords and shields, erged from within and pounced toward the blaspher.

“Be careful!!”

While retreating, Philray shouted loudly, and she glanced at her sister in between. The latter also showed a surprised expression at this unexpected turn of events, furiously waving her five-headed snake whip and desperately directing the Drow Elf Soldiers to attack the human-shaped armors.

The armors were strong, and it took the death of quite a few soldiers under Philray and Fiona before they managed to knock these tal husks to the ground.

“Enough already! These damned mages!”

Fiona vented her fury, then gave Philray, who was standing beside her, a fierce glare.

“Quick, check what that mage left behind! The trap was triggered just now, which ans no one has been here before; there must be sothing left.”

“Yes…”

Philray could only nod, then cautiously approached the chair once more. There, Philray noticed a peculiar ornant—an amulet that looked like a skull crossed with a war hamr, sitting quietly in one corner of the chair. Although it did not glow, Philray instinctively felt that it must be so sort of magical item.

So she reached out tentatively, touching the amulet.

And just as Philray’s fingers touched the amulet, a voice suddenly appeared in her mind.

(At your command, master, what are your orders?)

“Huh?”

Startled by the voice that had suddenly erged in her mind, Philray looked up and instinctively toward the gigantic armor standing behind the mage.

“What did you find?”

Impatient, Fiona hurried over to her. Hearing Fiona’s voice made Philray’s heart sink; she knew that if Fiona discovered it, she would definitely snatch it from her hands—by that ti, Philray would be left with nothing.

At that mont, a plan suddenly surfaced in Philray’s mind.

I’ve got it!

Thinking this, Philray quickly turned her head, looking at her sister and yelled loudly.

“Don’t co over!”

As she shouted at her sister, Philray firmly grasped the amulet and issued a command.

(Kill her!)

“—————————!!”

Hearing Philray’s order, the eyes of the gigantic armor radiated a dazzling red light. Philray saw it raise its head, grab the war hamr behind it, and with a roar, it charged toward Fiona.

Faced with the sudden assault of the dark colossus, Fiona was shocked, but as a priestess who was deeply favored by Rose, she imdiately raised her hands high, praying for the deity’s mighty power. Soon, a barrier appeared before Fiona, blocking the path of the black armor.

Seeing this, Philray felt sowhat disappointed—despite Fiona’s cruel and tyrannical nature, her ability as a High Priest was indisputable.

However, the next mont, Philray’s eyes widened with astonishnt.

The Thunder Warhamr in the black armor’s grip directly broke through Fiona’s divine power barrier, as if the barrier that could withstand all attacks was simply a piece of paper. Fiona had not anticipated such strength from the black armor, and for a mont, she could not react. By the ti she ca to her senses, the Thunder Warhamr had already smashed down in front of her, flattening the slender Drow Elf like a fly, turning her into a bloody ss of flesh.

So powerful!

Seeing this, Philray’s eyes widened with delight. This initiative had been impromptu, but Philray had not anticipated that this construct appeared even more powerful than she had imagined, even able to break through Fiona’s divine power barrier and easily kill her!

This scene not only shook Philray but also shocked those Drow Elf Soldiers. As for the gigantic construct, after eliminating Fiona, it stood up again and looked around silently.

Witnessing this, Philray once again gripped the amulet and silently issued a command from her heart.

(Kill them.)

She couldn’t let these Drow Soldiers leave, and at the sa ti, she wanted to test just how powerful this strange construct really was.

The results left Philray quite satisfied.

When the priestess and the construct left the tomb, the ground was left littered with only a heap of unrecognizable corpses.

After a mont, two figures quietly erged.

“I just don’t get it, what’s so fun about this.”

Gavi twirled her finger, as the puppets that had attacked the Drow Elves were controlled by her and Ogis, and the black armor standing behind the mage was undoubtedly Duanmu Huai. This was a trap and ambush Duanmu Huai had set after detecting the presence of the Drow Elves, of course, Ogis and Gavi were only executing the plan, completely unaware of Duanmu Huai’s reasons.

“The master has his own plans.”

Ogis’s expression was as impassive as ever.

“All we need to do is what we are supposed to do.”
