Lady Sinafi stared at her daughter, silent and tapping her finger lightly on the armrest. The next mont, she abruptly lifted her Nine-Headed Snake Whip and aid it at the dark construct. A red flash streaked through the air, tearing it apart as it slamd into the construct.
However, this imnse force, capable of tearing apart adamantine armor, had no effect on the black construct. It was as if a droplet had landed in a lake, rely causing ripples that dissipated with it.
Lady Sinafi stepped down from the platform, approached the construct, and circled it closely, then looked at her daughter.
“Very well, it seems you truly have brought an excellent gift to the family.”

Hearing the praise from Lady Sinafi, a hint of joy flashed in Philray’s eyes, but Lady Sinafi did not glance at her daughter again, turning instead to sit back down in her chair. Philray knew Lady Sinafi was right. The Drow Elves looked down upon mages and their magical creations. Without knowing the abilities of the black construct, if seen from the perspective of another uninford Drow family mber, the Third Family truly seed at a great loss, and this had the ability to make other families doubt whether the Third Family still enjoyed the favor of Rose—after all, if such were the case, Rose would surely have warned them in advance.
