Yun Kuo was still puzzled and finally asked.
"Suisui is thinking of a way. Usually, at a ti like this, we should help protect her. Once she wakes up, she should be able to tell us what we need to do!" Ji Youzhi casually replied to Yun Kuo.
Yun Kuo blinked, not understanding what Ji Youzhi was saying at all.
"She... she can think of a solution?" Yun Kuo’s voice grew louder, his tone incredulous.
A child of four or five, what solution could she possibly co up with?
"We don’t know for sure yet. We’ll have to wait until she wakes up to be certain," Ji Youzhi responded.
While answering Yun Kuo, he also harbored doubts. Could Xiaosuisui pull Princess Ata into her Dream Realm? He rembered Xiaosuisui once saying that by using so familiar items as a dium, she could pull those who shared blood ties with her into her Dream Realm. But if she wanted to pull soone with no blood relation, she needed their hair or living blood! Thinking of this, his doubts grew. Xiaosuisui entered the Dream Realm without a word; did she have Princess Ata’s blood? Or her hair? Or perhaps, had she gone to find soone else to help contact Princess Ata?
Princess Ata, currently inside the Dream Realm, was just as perplexed as Ji Youzhi. She watched Xiaosuisui, who was sitting by the Lotus Pond, blink repeatedly. Princess Ata rubbed her own eyes and murmured quietly, Have I been missing the Eldest Princess too much? Is that why I’m dreaming what I’ve been thinking about?
Xiaosuisui blinked at Princess Ata’s actions and giggled, opening her little arms as if wanting a hug.
"Oh! This dream feels so real! The Eldest Princess even wants to hug her. It’s better in a dream; I never had much chance to hug the Eldest Princess before!" Princess Ata muttered to herself as she reached out to Xiaosuisui and hugged her.
"Wow, this feels so real! Just like I’m not dreaming at all!" Princess Ata exclaid, then gave Xiaosuisui a peck on the cheek.
Xiaosuisui pouted and quickly wiped her small cheek.
This gesture completely chard Princess Ata.
"Oh! Even in a dream, she dislikes my drool!" Seeing the little girl’s action, Princess Ata couldn’t help but burst into laughter. Her exaggerated facial expression was so over-the-top, it was almost painful to look at.
Xiaosuisui helplessly scratched her head and said softly, "Princess Ata, you’re not dreaming, you know!"
"Not dreaming? How is that possible? You’re not even with us. Didn’t you go to break through that... Array of Heaven?" Princess Ata was extrely puzzled. Looking at Xiaosuisui, who seed so unreal, she couldn’t help but reach out and pinch her small cheek. "How can your little chubby cheek feel so real when I pinch it?"
Xiaosuisui blinked. "I am real here. You can touch the real , but you can’t touch others."
Princess Ata blinked, completely baffled.
Seeing this, Xiaosuisui couldn’t help but pat her little head again. It seed she would have to repeat to Princess Ata what she had once told her uncles and grandmother.
"This is my Dream Realm, Princess Ata. Do you rember when that old bald donkey Liao Kong was trying to catch , and I plucked a strand of your hair?"
Princess Ata couldn’t help but grimace. Thinking back to when her hair was pulled, her scalp tingled with a phantom pain.
"What do you an?"
"I an, I used your hair as a dium to directly pull your Divine Soul into my Dream Realm. Your physical body is outside, but your Divine Soul is truly here in my Dream Realm!"
"What are you saying? You pulled my Divine Soul into your Dream Realm? Then isn’t my physical body in danger outside?"
"Danger?" Xiaosuisui blinked, not understanding.
"Princess Ata, didn’t you leave Yunzhou Island on a ship with His Majesty, my adoptive father, and the others? How could you be in danger?"
"Oh dear! We did leave Yunzhou Island, that’s true, but we’ve already returned to Yunhang County. Right now, Yunhang County is in chaos, and a riot might break out!"
"A... a riot? What’s going on?" Xiaosuisui was greatly alard and quickly pressed for details.
"The County Magistrate of Yunhang County is a pawn placed by the Great Wizard in the Great Han. The son of the Minister of the Ministry of Revenue has already found so evidence proving the disappearances of people on both sides of the Yunhang River. Also, for the past dozen years or so, all the disaster relief silver allocated every few years by His Majesty, the Emperor of Great Han, has been secretly arranged by Wu Li, the County Magistrate of Yunhang, to be escorted to Nanjiang."
Xiaosuisui’s eyes widened in disbelief upon hearing this. No wonder! She had always felt sothing was strange about the people in Yunhang County when they were there. So this was the reason!
"So, where are you all now? Have you figured out a way to deal with them?"
"We’ve already entered Yunhang County. We saw officials searching for and arresting criminals everywhere, and that’s how we managed to gather this information. For now, we’re hiding in an abandoned old mansion. We should be safe temporarily."
Hearing they were safe for the ti being, Xiaosuisui felt relieved.
"Alright, I’ll have Da Feng go back and help you later. Pretty Sister can communicate with Da Feng. Just have Pretty Sister tell Da Feng whatever you need her help with."
"Isn’t Da Feng in the Imperial Palace? How can you summon her?"
