The mont the secret transmission ended, Loken’s eyes changed.

There was no hesitation. No pause.

He imdiately sent out a series of secret transmissions of his own, his Spirit Sense splitting into many thin threads as his orders reached the people he had planted long ago.

Do it. Now.

The night was still calm for half a breath. Then....

Swoosh. Zoom. Boom.

A loud boom tore through the harbor.

One of the large ships docked near the shore exploded from the inside. Fire and broken wood shot into the sky, followed by thick black smoke. Cultivators nearby were thrown into the air like rag dolls, screaming as they crashed into the sea or the docks.

Before anyone could react, another blast followed. Then another.

Ships began to explode one after another, so cracking in half, others sinking while still burning. Storage platforms collapsed as flas spread across the harbor.

Chaos arrived in full force.

Inland, explosions echoed as well. Warehouses storing Spirit stones burst open. Array hubs shattered. Communication towers fell. The ground trembled again and again as if the island itself was crying out in pain.

Cultivators panicked.

So dropped their work and ran without knowing where to go. Others scread orders that no one followed. Formation masters stared in disbelief at broken arrays they had spent months building.

And then the worst part began.

A few cultivators took advantage of the chaos.

They turned on their own people.

Blades flashed in the firelight. Spells struck from behind. Storage rings were ripped from dying hands. Groups broke into vaults, grabbing pills, Spirit stones, and weapons before fleeing into the smoke.

The Kalingoot base island descended into madness.

From the high vantage point, Koya stood frozen.

"What... What is going on? How could..."

His eyes were wide. His mouth was slightly open. For a mont, he could not even speak. He watched fires spread across the island. He watched ships sink. He watched his own people kill each other.

"What... what the fuc—"

Before he could finish, loud bangs erupted from multiple directions at once.

Boom. Boom. Boom.

The entire island shook violently, like it was struck by giant fists from below. Koya nearly lost his footing as cracks spread across the ground beneath him.

At the sa ti, the protective barrier surrounding the island began to flicker. It shimred, then dimd. Solid for a second, transparent the next. Like a dying fla.

This protective barrier was no ordinary barrier. Created from a 3rd Order formation, it drew power from the island’s Spirit Vein, Spirit stones, and the Spirit Veins of nearby islands. It was not only hidden but also very powerful.

This formation was ant to hold off even a bunch of Core Formation Lords for a considerable amount of ti without needing any attention from the three Supres of Kailngoot. It was impossible for those below the 3rd Spirit realm to damage it no matter what kind of Spirit spells or battle formation they used.

How could an array formation of the 3rd Order be damaged all of a sudden?

Koya’s heart sank. The array that powered it had been damaged. Without a steady source of Spirit energy, the barrier would not last more than a few minutes.

Then Koya saw them.

"And who the fuc*k is this bastard? Hmmmm? Wait... he is not the only one. These are... so many of them."

They were warships. Dozens of them. All heading towards Kalingoot’s base island.

They were coming from all directions, cutting through the night sky and sea like silent hunters. Their formations were tight and clean. Their banners fluttered clearly in the moonlight.

"They... they are... no way.... How did they know our base was here? And how did these incompetent bastards achieve sothing like this?"

Dadangar Alliance. The ships belonged to all the remaining island owners who had decided to put up a fight against Kalingoot.

Koya’s mind raced.

Inside help. After all, this level of damage could not be done from the outside alone. There were traitors. And not weak ones. Not random ones.

People with access. With planning. With ti. This betrayal had been prepared months ago.

Koya’s shock turned into burning rage.

He turned his gaze toward a group of cultivators below who were looting a storage area while throwing explosive talismans behind them to spread more chaos.

His eyes turned bloodshot.

With a loud clang, he grabbed the heavy broadsword from his back.

"Who dares to betray Kalingoot?" he roared, his voice echoing across the burning island. "You bastards... you filthy swines... I will chop you into a thousand pieces!"

Spirit energy surged around him as he prepared to take flight.

The Alliance ships were still so distance away. The barrier had not fully collapsed yet. There was still ti. And Koya intended to use every second of it.

’Ti to kill the traitors first,’ Koya thought to himself, determination flashing in his eyes.

Koya was just about to leap into the air.

Spirit essence gathered under his feet as his aura surged. His grip tightened around the hilt of his broadsword, and rage burned in his chest.

Then he froze.

A sweet sll suddenly filled his nose.

It was rich and warm, like fresh flowers blooming under sunlight. For a brief mont, it felt as if he was no longer standing on a burning island but inside a peaceful garden full of colorful blossoms.

The scent was too strong. His thoughts slowed. And for so reason, his anger dulled.

A wave of confusion washed over his mind, and his brows furrowed as he tried to understand what was happening.

At the sa ti, the Spirit essence inside his body reacted. It beca restless.

The flow inside his Spirit veins turned uneven, clashing against itself. Koya felt his control slip for just a fraction of a second, like his powers were no longer listening to him.

That single mont was enough.

Swoosh. Zoom. Pierce.

A sharp pain exploded in the Second Supre’s chest.
