The subordinate swallowed hard.

"Master... despite the earlier agreent of ten percent, the Iron Mountain Sect is now demanding twenty percent of Kalingoot’s treasury for their help."

Silence fell. Then Loken let out a low chuckle. The sound slowly grew into a quiet laugh.

"Kekeke. So they are finally showing their true faces," he said, a cruel smile spreading across his lips. "Greedy bastards."

He waved his hand casually.

"Fine," he continued. "We loot the treasury first."

His eyes shone with cold intent.

"As for the Iron Mountain Sect..." he paused. "We’ll deal with them later."

Loken then crouched down and placed his hand over Koya’s Dantia. Using so Essence Equation runes, he drew out the borrowed Spirit Core that had once powered the Second Supre.

The core floated in the air. It shone with a dim but steady light, like a small heart made of crystal.

Loken took out a glass-like prism from his storage ring. He placed the Spirit Core inside it, sealing it completely. Only after that did he put the prism away inside his ring.

Then, without any hesitation, he stored Koya’s body as well. To him, Koya was no longer a person. He was a resource. Plus, he didn’t want the Kalingoot’s forces to lose their morale just yet.

Loken straightened up and looked at the experts standing behind him.

"What about the First Supre?" he asked calmly. "Are the preparations done?"

A different subordinate stepped forward this ti. She was a woman with sharp eyes, but her hands trembled slightly.

"Master," she said, bowing deeply. "I sent my younger sister to serve the First Supre a few days ago."

Her voice shook. She clenched her fists and lowered her head.

"She... she hasn’t reported back since then." She took a deep breath, holding back a sob.

"I believe she failed."

Loken fell silent for a mont.

His fingers tapped lightly against his side as he thought. Then he spoke. "Carry out Plan B."

The woman looked up in shock. "Use all three Third Order talismans," Loken continued. "Destroy the First Supre’s abode."

The woman hesitated and quickly spoke again. "Master, we have already confird this. The chance of harming the First Supre with Third Order talismans inside his own stronghold is extrely low."

She swallowed and continued. "Not only would we fail to hurt him, but he would also suspect us. He knows those talismans ca from you. On top of that, the talismans would be wasted. We... we can use them against the Alliance or even your enemy Aksai Everwood."

Loken let out a soft chuckle. "First," he said, his voice calm, "why should we fear the First Supre tonight?"

He gestured toward the burning island and the distant lights of incoming warships.

"Look around. Chaos is everywhere. The Dadangar Alliance is attacking. Who do you think he will really bla under such conditions?"

He continued, "Even if he suspects , he will not act without thinking. Not tonight."

His smile deepened. "Second, those are not the only Third Order talismans I have."

"Third," he said slowly, "the talismans do not need to kill him. If they are used at the right mont, they may disrupt his close-door cultivation."

He let out a low laugh.

"Hehehe. Whether he is injured or not due to Spirit essence deviation does not matter. He will be forced to deal with the Alliance after being forced out of his seclusion in such a manner. That alone buys us ti."

Loken’s eyes turned cold. "While those two sides fight, we will empty Kalingoot’s treasury."

He paused, then added, "And no matter how Plan B ends, it proves that I have done everything I can to help Aksai." His lips curled slightly.

"That ans his restrictions on will start to weaken. When that happens, removing them ahead of ti will be much easier."

Loken looked at his subordinates one by one.

"That answers all questions," he said in a low voice. "Now get back to work. We don’t have ti for doubt."

He turned and started walking. "Twelve of you, follow ."

Twelve experts imdiately moved behind him without another word.

The remaining three stayed behind. They exchanged glances and gave each other hollow smiles. Without speaking, they took out the three Third Order talismans they carried.

A mont later, the three figures shot into the sky, flying in a different direction. Their target was clear. They were going to stir trouble for the First Supre of Kalingoot.

At the sa ti. Alliance’s side.

The night sea was restless.

Alliance warships cut through the dark waters from every direction, their hulls glowing faintly with Spirit light.

Large array formations humd on their decks, pushing the ships forward in perfect order. From above, it looked like a tightening net closing around a single target.

Kalingoot’s base island.

On one of the front warships, Aksai sat calmly on the back of a giant draconic Bluewind Eagle.

The beast was massive. Its wings were folded neatly at its sides, but even at rest, it gave off a heavy pressure. Blue scales mixed with draconic patterns reflected the moonlight, and its horns curved back like sharpened blades. Each slow breath it took stirred the air around the ship.

Aksai sat upright, his posture relaxed. Behind him, rows of Spirit cultivators stood in silence. So stared at his back with open respect. Others kept their heads lowered, not daring to look for long. Their feelings were mixed.

Reverence, because Aksai was a Core Formation Lord.

Fear, because none of them had ever seen soone sit so calmly on a demon beast this fierce, as if it were nothing more than a tad mount.

The ship moved forward steadily. From the side, a shadow approached through the air.

A giant green falcon flew toward the warship. Spirit winds followed each flap as it slowed down and landed on the deck with ease. A figure jumped down from its back.

It was the Green Glory Lord.
