Mu Yan felt a wave of relief wash over her upon hearing that familiar voice.
She spoke with surprise, "Why are you here?"
With a "click," the room light turned on.
Jiang Jingheng walked over and sat down beside her, raising his hand to touch her cheek, "What do you think?"
His hand was sowhat cold, carrying a hint of chill, indicating he probably hadn’t been there long.
Mu Yan certainly knew he ca for her.
She pursed her lips, held his hand, and softly said, "I’m fine, it’s just a cold."
Jiang Jingheng’s light brown eyes were full of warmth, "If you don’t want to worry, take better care of yourself."
Mu Yan pursed her lips again, "Got it."
"The doctor will be here soon. Grab a bite to eat first. What do you want?" Jiang Jingheng asked.
Mu Yan shook her head, "I don’t want to eat anything."
Jiang Jingheng gave her a cool glance, "What did you just say?"
Mu Yan obediently responded, "I’ll eat anything, you decide."
Jiang Jingheng’s expression slightly cleared as he pinched her cheek, "Good girl."
Mu Yan shot him a glare, "I’m not a child."
"If you were a child, it would be good." Jiang Jingheng looked at her with an indescribable expression.
If she were a child, she would stay by his side and wouldn’t think of flying away.
Mu Yan ignored him, but she didn’t let go of his hand.
When she was filming, she didn’t miss him much, since they talked or video called every day.
But when he suddenly appeared in front of her, it was like her longing poured out in torrents.
She lowered her head and quietly asked, "You’re so busy, would visiting delay your work?"
Jiang Jingheng raised an eyebrow, "Should I go back now then?"
Mu Yan’s expression subtly changed as she looked at him, her eyes full of reluctance.
Seeing her teary eyes, Jiang Jingheng didn’t dare to tease her, instead pulling her into a tight embrace.
"It’s been more than a week since we last t, and now you just want to chase away, huh?"
"Of course not." Mu Yan replied softly.
Perhaps being sick made her emotionally fragile; she really wanted him to stay with her.
Jiang Jingheng kissed her hair and whispered, "In my eyes, even the smallest thing concerning you is monuntal, nothing else compares."
Mu Yan’s heart fluttered, a montary burst of sunshine lighting up her mind.
Her heart felt warm and sweet, as if lting into honey.
Jiang Jingheng released her, leaning down intending to kiss her, but she dodged.
Mu Yan buried her head in his embrace, murmuring, "I can’t, I’ve got a cold, don’t want to pass it to you."
Jiang Jingheng’s forehead creased; that excuse...
Not long after, dinner was delivered.
With Jiang Jingheng supervising, Mu Yan had no choice but to eat even if she didn’t want to.
Song Cheng’an arrived at the hotel with the doctor just in ti to bump into Zhao Xiyue.
Zhao Xiyue greeted him voluntarily, "Brother Song, long ti no see."
Song Cheng’an smiled and nodded, "Long ti no see, Miss Zhao’s popularity is growing."
Zhao Xiyue chuckled, "Not really."
She glanced at the man behind him carrying a dical case and asked, "Found a doctor for Mu Yan?"
"Yes, she has a cold," Song Cheng’an replied.
"Then go ahead up, we can chat later." Zhao Xiyue nodded.
"Alright!" Song Cheng’an proceeded forward with the doctor.
Zhao Xiyue’s assistant asked, "Weren’t you planning to see Mu Yan? Why not go up with Young Master Song?"
"Are you silly?" Zhao Xiyue shot her a look.
If Song Cheng’an hadn’t co, her visit would have been tily support.
Since Song Cheng’an was there, if she went up, she’d just be a third wheel.
