After the doctor’s examination, the result was that Mu Yan had no other issues except a slight fever.
Song Cheng’an followed the doctor out to buy dicine.
Mu Yan leaned against the bed and looked at Jiang Jingheng, saying, "I’m fine."
Jiang Jingheng poured a glass of water and handed it to her, "The doctor said to drink more water and get more rest."
"But I want to read the script," Mu Yan said softly.
Jiang Jingheng raised an eyebrow, "With by your side, you can still focus on the script? Are you saying my charm isn’t as great as the script?"
Mu Yan dared not respond to that. She took the cup and sipped the water.
The water was warm, just right, just like him—tender and considerate.
She drank a few sips and handed the cup back to him.
After a while, the doorbell rang.
Jiang Jingheng went out and took the dicine from Song Cheng’an’s hand, preparing to close the door.
"I just saw Zhao Xiyue," Song Cheng’an suddenly said.
Jiang Jingheng glanced at him, "So what?"
Song Cheng’an looked at him with a strange expression, "She’s in the sa crew as Mu Yan, did you know?"
Jiang Jingheng frowned slightly, "Why should I pay attention to her?"
Song Cheng’an, "..."
Okay, I was being nosy.
"Take good care of her."
"Mm." Jiang Jingheng closed the door and went in, imdiately seeing Mu Yan reading the script.
Mu Yan saw him and quickly hid the script.
Jiang Jingheng pretended not to see and gave her the dicine.
Mu Yan felt a little guilty, watching his expression.
After taking the dicine, she finally said, "I have a lot of scenes tomorrow, so I want to review it again."
"Mm." Jiang Jingheng responded lightly.
Mu Yan saw his usual expression and asked, "Aren’t you angry?"
"Mrs. Jiang is working hard to earn money for the family, I should feel pleased about that." Jiang Jingheng’s lips curved.
Mu Yan looked at him, feeling that it wasn’t that simple.
Sure enough, the next mont she heard him say, "Considering Mrs. Jiang is unwell, and to prevent her from overworking, I will supervise here tonight."
Mu Yan pondered his words for a mont and imdiately understood.
What he ant was he’d be sleeping here tonight!
She looked at him and said softly, "Isn’t this inappropriate?"
How can they sleep in the sa bed just after getting together?
"Then where will I stay tonight, sleep on the street?" Jiang Jingheng asked.
Mu Yan replied, "You could book another room."
"Didn’t bring my ID card."
"Then how did you get here today?"
"Well, then I’ll go lose my ID card."
Mu Yan looked at his righteous expression, almost laughing in anger.
How could he be so shaless, actually threatening her?
Just as she was about to speak, she heard soone say in a vague tone, "Boyfriends and girlfriends can share a room, and we’re even married, yet we’re worse off than other couples."
Mu Yan, "..."
How did we get married, don’t you have any idea?!
In the end, Mu Yan compromised.
After all, what was to happen had already happened, and it’s not like they hadn’t slept together before.
Jiang Jingheng ca out after showering and saw Mu Yan still looking at the script.
He walked to the other side, got on the bed, took the script from her hand, and said, "Sleep."
Mu Yan lay down abruptly, turning her back on him, not daring to look at him.
In fact, she was looking at the script just to distract herself.
After all, it was the first ti she’d be in the sa bed with him while fully awake, and she was really nervous.
Jiang Jingheng looked at her back, smiled, turned off the lights, and lay down.
As the room turned dark, Mu Yan’s nervous heart instantly cald down.
Suddenly, a big hand extended over, and before she could react, her body turned and fell into his embrace.
His deep laughter ca, "With the lights off, are you not afraid anymore?"
