In the Ning Family mansion, Ning Shishen locked himself in the study after returning ho.
He sat on the sofa chair, rubbing his temples to ease the headache.
He had calculated everything, but he didn’t anticipate that they were already married.
I’m afraid the Jiang Family is still unaware of this; otherwise, Jiang Jingheng wouldn’t have been so calm and boastful.
However, even if they knew, so what? Knowing Jiang Jingheng’s character, if he dares to do sothing, he won’t compromise, and Mu Yan will be the one to suffer.
Besides, Jiang Jingheng may already know Mu Yan’s identity. Once it’s public, no one in the Jiang Family will oppose them being together.
But if no one in the Jiang Family opposes, it’s not certain for the Zhuang Family.
At this mont, he regretted not informing the Jiang Family earlier, leading to their increasing affection.
With a plan in mind, Ning Shishen made a phone call.
"Zhuang Yi, Mu Yan has returned to the country. If you are sure she is Nuannuan, you might as well et her to confirm it personally."
"However, she may not rember past events, so you must present sothing that can prove her identity."
"Okay."
Ning Shishen hung up the phone, his gaze deep.
Things have reached this stage, he has no retreat.
In the bedroom, Mu Yan erged after her shower, and Jiang Jingheng wasn’t upstairs, but his suit was tossed on the sofa.
Just as she reached the door, she saw him approaching, dressed in pajamas.
"Why are you showering in the other bathroom?" she asked in confusion.
Jiang Jingheng entered and said, "Had a bit of alcohol tonight, and I sll like it."
Mu Yan felt warmth in her heart; he knew she couldn’t stand the sll of alcohol, so he washed up before she ca out to prevent her discomfort.
She imdiately said, "Shall I make you so hangover soup?"
"Not drunk." Jiang Jingheng pulled her to him.
Mu Yan thought of sothing and humd lightly, "That’s right, your alcohol tolerance is excellent. If you were drunk, you’d just be pretending."
Jiang Jingheng knew she was referring to that ti when he pretended to be drunk to get close to her.
He lifted his hand to tweak her nose, "Holding a grudge like this?"
"Yes, I hold grudges, especially for a lifeti." Mu Yan huffed lightly.
Since he treated her so well, she couldn’t find anything to hold a grudge against, so wasn’t this just scraping by?
Jiang Jingheng chuckled softly, swiftly lifting her and heading toward the bed.
He set her down and was about to get on when soone hooked his neck.
The warmth on his lips t her sparkling eyes as he looked down.
His almond eyes slightly lifted, "Mrs. Jiang, are you in such a hurry to collect grain?"
Mu Yan paused for a mont, not imdiately reacting, but then understood as she took in his teasing gaze.
She pinched his waist lightly; how could his mouth be so bad?
"Don’t rush, it’s about to be yours." Jiang Jingheng chuckled softly, leaning down to capture her lips.
Mu Yan could feel his urgency, as if he wanted to devour her whole. After being together for so long, they should’ve moved past that honeymoon phase.
Her heart was sweet and joyful, yet she breathed a sigh of relief.
He probably hadn’t noticed her sneaking peeks at his diary.
By the end, it was already the dead of night.
Jiang Jingheng held her in his arms, chuckling lightly, "The grain’s all collected. Is Mrs. Jiang satisfied?"
Mu Yan, exhausted at this point, deliberately said, "It’s just so-so."
"Shall we continue?" Jiang Jingheng acted as if he wanted to start again.
Mu Yan quickly begged for rcy, promising not to be so forward again, avoiding her own suffering.
Luckily, Jiang Jingheng didn’t plan to continue, and the two fell asleep in each other’s arms.
The next morning, Jiang Jingheng went to work, while Mu Yan was still in bed.
Hearing the sound of the car leaving, she imdiately picked up the diary on the bedside table, opened it, and continued reading the part she hadn’t finished.
