About half an hour later, the car stopped outside Jinxiu Villa.
As soon as the car stopped, Mu Yan heard the sound of the door opening.
She turned her head and saw Jiang Jingheng striding out.
She imdiately got out of the car, and before she could speak, he grabbed her arm and pulled her to his side.
Mu Yan looked at the arm he was holding, frowning slightly, it hurt.
She looked up and saw Jiang Jingheng’s cold and stern face, her heart skipped a beat, was he misunderstanding?
Ning Shishen got out of the car and nodded slightly towards Jiang Jingheng, "I saw Mu Yan waiting for a car by the roadside on my way here, so I gave her a ride back."
His gaze fell on Jiang Jingheng’s hand that was holding Mu Yan’s, his eyes deepening slightly,
"Much appreciated." Jiang Jingheng said calmly.
"No problem." Ning Shishen looked at Mu Yan, "If you sprained your foot, you should apply so hot water to it."
"Okay." Mu Yan nodded, "Thank you, Brother Ning."
Jiang Jingheng looked at Mu Yan, frowning slightly, "You sprained your foot, why didn’t you say sothing? Which foot?"
Mu Yan looked at his anxious expression and pursed her lips, well, he didn’t give her a chance to say anything.
As soon as he saw her, he pulled hard, anyone not in the know would think she had a grudge against him.
If it were his first love, he definitely wouldn’t treat her like this.
She said sulkily, "I’m fine."
How could Jiang Jingheng be satisfied with her "I’m fine" and scooped her up, turning and heading inside.

Jiang Jingheng fetched an ice pack from the refrigerator and began icing her foot.
The sprain wasn’t serious, but her ankle was slightly bruised.
Jiang Jingheng’s face darkened, his expression serious.
Mu Yan looked at him and felt as if a storm was brewing.
He remained silent, making her uneasy, and she couldn’t help but ask, "Are you angry?"
Jiang Jingheng lowered his eyelids, not saying a word.
Mu Yan raised a hand to pinch his sleeve, shaking it slightly, "Are you really angry?"
"Do you care if I’m angry?" Jiang Jingheng looked up at her.
Mu Yan frowned, "When did I not care? I t Brother Ning by chance. I couldn’t get a cab, so he brought back."
"You could have told , I could have picked you up, but you didn’t say anything." Jiang Jingheng said in a deep voice.
"I..."
Mu Yan wanted to say she intended to refuse, but she was scared, she felt soone was following her.
Yet, she felt saying this might sound pretentious.
"Fine, it’s all my fault." She turned her face away, looking elsewhere, tears uncontrollably falling.
There’s nothing between her and Brother Ning. He was just being kind, why is he so angry?
Seeing her cry, Jiang Jingheng’s expression imdiately changed, he reached to wipe her tears, but she avoided him.
He sensed his fingers were a bit cold, clenched his fist, and handed her a tissue.
"It’s my fault, don’t be mad."
Mu Yan turned her head to look at him, "You’re not wrong, it’s my fault."
Jiang Jingheng’s eyes darkened as he looked at her, his light brown eyes clouded.
Mu Yan was unyielding, a face full of stubbornness.
She had already spoken to him nicely, why couldn’t he be understanding, just because she liked him?
Look at how fierce he is now, if it were his first love, would he be like this?
