Ur had also tried to create an ice giant to fight him, but unfortunately, due to her magic power being insufficient, the ice she created wasn't hard enough, and her giant was less than half the size of Noah's. It would shatter after just a short ti. She was completely outclassed by Noah in every aspect, from magic power to magical comprehension. Every spar was a one-sided suppression. The person who read the most in the guild was Noah, and the person who had mastered the most magic was also Noah. Makarov himself had admitted that he could no longer compare to Noah in terms of the sheer quantity of magic he knew. And even so, Noah was still constantly reading and learning. "Alright, you're more or less recovered. Let's continue," Noah said, seeing that Laxus's breathing had evened out. He beckoned for him to co and fight.

Laxus didn't say any more. He raised his arms above his head, a magic circle unfolded, and a halberd made of pure lightning appeared in his hands.

"Thunder Dragon's Heavenly Halberd!"

Laxus hurled it at Noah. Noah, still looking calm, simply raised his right hand. A golden magic circle appeared, and the halberd was deflected, curving through the air and flying towards the spectators.

This ti, the crowd was much calr. Only those who were confident in their own strength looked eager to try and block the attack.

"Thunder Empress Spear!"

"Dark Spark!"

"Ice-Make: Rose Garden!"

"Angel Magic: Shamsiel!"

"Ice-Make: Lancer!"

"Ice-Make: Great Eagle!"

"Fire Dragon's Roar!"

Everyone's attacks struck the halberd, forcibly shattering it in mid-air. A huge explosion occurred, sending out a large cloud of smoke and debris.

Seeing that his ranged attacks were just being deflected by Noah, Laxus charged in for a close-quarters attack.

"Thunder Dragon's Crushing Fist!"

A large amount of lightning enveloped his right fist, and his body was wreathed in electricity as he rushed at Noah.

Noah knew that Laxus was trying to fight him up close since his ranged attacks were useless. Not so easy.

The mont Laxus was in front of him, Noah stuck out his right hand, and a magic circle flashed. "Enchantnt: Lightning Immunity!"

Completely ignoring the lightning, he grabbed Laxus's right arm and, with a powerful twist, threw him towards the crowd of spectators.

Natsu, Gray, and the others' eyes lit up. Erza and the others also looked eager as they watched Laxus fly toward them, and they all began to gather their magic.

"You bastard!" Laxus roared. He was in mid-air and didn't yet know how to turn his body into lightning to move, so he could only gather his magic.

"Fire Dragon's Roar!" Natsu was the first to fire, and the others' attacks imdiately followed.

Laxus, in mid-air, took a deep breath and then let out a blast of his own. "Thunder Dragon's Roar!"

The two sides' attacks were in a stalemate for a mont before a violent explosion erupted. The powerful shockwave blew Laxus backward, and he had to do several flips in the air before he could land safely. The shockwave that reached Natsu and the others was blocked by the protective barrier.

"You bastard Noah! Fight head-on!" Laxus was furious. Noah had ssed with him twice, and he had used a lot of magic and stamina without even being able to touch him.

"Then I'll start attacking. Pay attention!" Noah agreed.

Laxus imdiately focused his attention. Two small, golden, and extrely complex magic circles suddenly appeared in front of Noah's eyes. Then, two tiny beams of light shot out from them, aiming directly at Laxus.

"A True Hero Kills with His Eyes! Light Ray Eyes!"

Laxus sensed imnse danger from the beams and quickly wreathed his body in lightning, dodging to the side. The light beams hit the ground where he had been standing, and a massive explosion erupted, sending smoke and dust everywhere.

The light beams from Noah's eyes didn't stop. He simply turned his head, and the beams swept across the ground towards Laxus, creating a continuous chain of explosions.

Seeing this, Laxus was forced to run, dodging the beams. The training ground was filled with the sound of explosions. And the explosions were getting bigger, as the beams from Noah's eyes were getting thicker.

Laxus tried several tis to charge at Noah, but he was forced back by the beams. He couldn't run faster than Noah could turn his head. His own lightning magic was simply vaporized by the beams when he tried to fire it from a distance. But he was still running.

The spectators were wondering if he was out of options. Suddenly, a lightning magic circle erupted from under Noah's feet, and a powerful bolt of lightning shot up at him. Laxus knew this kind of attack wouldn't hurt Noah, but it would be enough to make him move. As long as he moved, he would have an opening.

Noah, as if obliging him, leaped to the side, out of the magic circle. At the sa ti, the magic circles in front of his eyes vanished, and the light beams stopped.
