Clara Grant humd in agreent. She then explained how Miles Quinn had lied to Director Conway and Vice Principal Chandler, claiming to be the man in the photo—her boyfriend—to save her from expulsion.
Sarah Shelby’s voice shot up on the other end of the line, sounding excited. "Miles Quinn actually pretended to be your boyfriend just to help you?! Clara Grant laughed bitterly, deciding not to hide the truth from her friend. "Even if he does like , we can’t be together anymore. Because... Seth Quinn and I registered our marriage today."

Clara knew Sarah held a grudge against Miles because he’d never been clear about his feelings for her. So, it wasn’t hard to understand why she disapproved of Miles and favored Seth.
