Yvette Zimrman was smart enough to quit while she was ahead. Seeing that she had stirred Evan Shelby’s guilt and drawn an apology from him, she reined in her temper, sniffled, and asked, "So what do we do now?"
Evan Shelby pondered for a mont before speaking. "Call Autumn and tell her to co back right away. As long as she’s back, Seth Quinn will definitely choose her. After all, they have years of history together. In that respect, Autumn already has the upper hand.
Besides, Seth Quinn still has feelings for Autumn. All he needs is to see her again to rekindle them. Even if Clara Grant is pretty and has chard him for now, our Autumn is just as beautiful.

Yvette Zimrman thought he had a point, but she was still worried about her daughter’s health. "Autumn hasn’t fully recovered yet," she said hesitantly. "How can she co back now?"
"She’s been recovering for long enough; it’s about ti. Besides, she can continue her recovery back ho. Here, in her own house, with people to wait on her—are you telling her living conditions will be worse than they are abroad? If she doesn’t co back now, by the ti Seth Quinn actually marries soone else, it’ll be too late for tears."
Yvette Zimrman felt torn, but after thinking it over, she ultimately agreed to her husband’s plan.

At the ntion of Sarah Shelby, Yvette Zimrman’s expression instantly soured. She sneered, "Hah, you’re still counting on that ’good’ daughter of yours? I just went to see her to ask if she knew about Clara Grant’s relationship with Seth Quinn.
But do you know what she said to ? She said I was living in a fantasy, dreaming of becoming Seth Quinn’s mother-in-law. She said Seth Quinn and Autumn broke off their engagent a long ti ago. That he and Clara Grant are both single, so it’s perfectly normal for them to be together. She even said that it would be hopeless even if Autumn ca back."
"Do you hear that? Just listen to her! She’s a Shelby, but she’s siding with an outsider against her own family! Instead of taking her sister’s side, she’s defending a stranger! I was kind enough to let bygones be bygones and take her and her mother in, but who knew this is how she’d repay ? How she’d treat her own sister and the Shelby Family!"
Evan Shelby’s expression faltered. Although he usually doted on Sarah, when it ca to crucial matters, he naturally put the Shelby Family’s interests first.
"Did Sarah really say that? That girl is so thoughtless. What’s more important, friends or family? If the Shelby Family were to fall, where does she think her comfortable, carefree life cos from! Utterly insensible."
Yvette Zimrman feigned a helpless sigh. "I’m just venting to you. She’s just a child; I can’t really hold a grudge against her, can I? That said, Sarah isn’t getting any younger. I think it’s about ti we found a suitable husband for her. Once she’s married off, she’ll understand the importance of her family. It’ll also help her settle down."

Yvette Zimrman had brought this up many tis before, but he had always shut her down with that sa excuse.
