’Was the boss blaming Director Liam Keane for rushing into production without finding the perfect actor?’
But you couldn’t really bla Director Liam Keane. Everyone knew he was a renowned, A-list director—talented, dedicated, and famous in the industry for being conscientious, responsible, and incredibly demanding.
That’s why, even for what was essentially a minor female role, he had been ticulously auditioning actors, striving for perfection.
But if he really couldn’t find the perfect fit, they couldn’t just keep delaying the shoot for such a minor role, could they?
Just as Chase Childs was about to speak up for the director, his boss stood up and asked, "Where’s the reservation for dinner?"
"The Elysian Restaurant."
"To The Elysian Restaurant."
With that, Seth Quinn was already heading straight for the door.
’Huh? Doesn’t the boss *never* attend these kinds of dinners? Why the exception today?’
Though completely bewildered, Chase Childs scrambled to follow without a mont’s hesitation.

Sarah Shelby sped down the road with Clara Grant in the car. As she drove, Sarah said to her friend, "Clara, I managed to get a scoop from my dad. There’s a production team eting tonight for that new Aegis show that’s about to start filming, *A Lifeti of Splendor*. You’ve heard of it, right?"
"I have." The show had been hyped for ages, with news about it everywhere, so of course Clara Grant knew about it. "The opportunity you found for ... it’s for *A Lifeti of Splendor*?"
"Yep! It’s an Aegis production, directed by Liam Keane. People are dying for a part in it. I heard there’s a female supporting role that Director Liam Keane has been trying to cast for ages, but he hasn’t found anyone he’s happy with. Even though it’s a supporting role, judging by how ticulous and demanding he is, it must be a pretty significant one. Clara, if you can land this role, you’ll be off to a great start... What’s wrong? You don’t like the idea?"
Sarah was speaking animatedly, but when she glanced over, she saw a slight frown on her friend’s face.
"Of course not!" Clara Grant’s brow furrowed, and she pouted at her friend, hesitating. "An Aegis production... directed by Liam Keane... with nas like that attached, who wouldn’t want to be a part of it? But like you just said, Director Liam Keane has been searching for a long ti and still hasn’t found the right person. I’m just a third-year university student with zero experience. How could I possibly be good enough for him?"
"Hey, don’t be so quick to give up! Maybe you’re exactly who Director Liam Keane has been waiting for."
Clara Grant could only offer a wry smile at her friend’s optimism. ’As if,’ she thought. ’Saying he’s been waiting for makes it sound like the role was tailor-made.’
Sarah paid no mind to her friend’s doubtful smile and continued, "Let’s just treat it as a practice run. If you get it, great. If not, we haven’t lost anything, right?"
That was true. Clara’s expression relaxed, and she nodded.

Inside the most luxurious private room at The Elysian Restaurant, River Sterling and Linden Jennings were laughing and drinking with the film’s production team. The atmosphere was cheerful and congenial.
Suddenly, the door to the room was pushed open. The boisterous crowd inside instantly fell silent, all heads turning toward the entrance.
When they saw the newcor was none other than Seth Quinn, the room, which had just fallen silent, was instantly thrown into a quiet commotion. Everyone imdiately rose to their feet to welco his unexpected arrival.
