Soon, Qin Xue replied to her on the phone, saying she was about to co find her in class.

“Uh.”

No need to be that anxious.

Although Su Yun had been having wild thoughts lately, she found that as long as she shifted her focus, like paying attention in class, she could suppress it.

(: No class this afternoon, can you give it to when I co over?)

(Qin Xue: Sure)

Seeing Qin Xue's reply, Su Yun let out a sigh of relief.

Ding—

(Qin Xue: Rember to wear that white dress)

Of course, Qin Xue just had to add that last sentence.

Su Yun puffed out her lips helplessly.

This girl really couldn’t let it go, huh...

“What’s wrong with you?” A sowhat anxious voice ca from the front.

It was only then that Su Yun noticed the two people in front of her were acting a little off, still chatting away even though class had started.

She also noticed Zhang Deyi’s condition, but the computer lab seats were spaced too far apart—she couldn’t ask directly.

...

“Bro, wanna join our fan group?” During the second class, with closer seats, Zhang Deyi turned around on his own initiative.

He was smiling and his voice was friendly. Normally it would seem quite sincere, but paired with his swollen left cheek that looked like he got punched, it ca off a bit comical.

“Fan group?” Su Yun blinked in confusion.

“It’s about those pictures I showed you earlier.” Zhang Deyi explained as he pulled out his phone to show her.

Hmm, it was familiar.

Because when she was bathing yesterday, she kept seeing her reflection in the mirror.

Soft and fair... cough cough, not the point here.

“No.” Su Yun refused flatly.

That so-called fan group, from what she rembered, was mainly about sharing photos and talking about her. If she joined and saw the content, it would be nothing but suffering.

“I think it’s because our goddess is too lowkey, but still has such high popularity—it’s making so people jealous. Soone’s trying to slander her!”

Even though he was rejected, Zhang Deyi was still worked up and blurted out the second part.

“?” Su Yun’s expression tightened at his words.

“Oh right, bro’s so happy now. If she saw it, she might get mad.” Zhang Deyi didn’t push further and was about to turn around—

Only for Su Yun to suddenly grab his shoulder before he could.

“Ow, bro, what are you doing?”

“I want to join.” Su Yun declared while Zhang Deyi was still yelping in pain.

“Ah, then sis-in-law isn’t—”

“I don’t have a girlfriend!” Su Yun's face darkened.

“You said soone is slandering her. What’s going on? I’ll join the group. Hurry up and explain.”

“Okay, I’ll add you right now.” Seeing Su Yun genuinely concerned, Zhang Deyi nodded with a rare serious expression, like this was sothing grave.

Su Yun opened QQ and agreed to the request—just like that, she was in the “Snow White Princess” fan group.

(Welco newcor! Now that you’re here, you’re one of the bros)

(Welco, welco)

The mont she entered the group, a wave of welcos poured in, leaving her a bit overwheld.

(We’re in a ti of crisis)

(Soone’s trying to fra our Snow White Princess lately...)

Once the welco ended, Zhang Deyi—aka the “president”—gave a solemn ssage in the group of barely twenty people.

It was so awkward Su Yun couldn’t even get past the first sentence.

Still, she got the gist of it:

Apparently, soone had blatantly sared her reputation on campus—this morning, they even put up a big banner right outside the boys’ dorm.

It accused her of being a slut, sneaking off campus late at night, and making her current boyfriend miserable. They even posted a few images. None of them were really her, but the white hair and general vibe made them look convincing.

And according to Zhang Deyi, those spreading the slander looked more like street thugs than students. Probably hired outsiders—aning the school couldn’t do much about them.

Su Yun was speechless.

She clenched her teeth.

Seriously? Are these people sick?

The whole thing was pretty bold—just openly displayed like that. If it had happened to another girl, she’d probably cry alone at night from sha. If she had a fragile mindset, she might even jump—

Su Yun thought to herself: if soone were pointing fingers at Qin Xue, calling her a slut... how would she react?

“...”

No more thinking.

Right now, she just wanted to find those rumor-spreading bastards and beat the crap out of them.

It took Su Yun several minutes to cool off before she could suppress the violent urge.

She wasn’t bragging—if she started fighting, she could knock out anyone in one hit.

But that would cause a huge scene. And then, her real identity would probably be exposed.

Keeping her head down and swallowing her anger didn’t sit right either.

Fortunately, with this fan group, they said they’d remove any banners they spotted. And if the people around it reacted, they’d toss them out too.

To this, Su Yun ntally gave them a title: righteous and hot-blooded college boys.

“We gotta let so people know: running their mouths won’t solve anything. If you’re jealous, fine—just keep it to yourself. Don’t act shady.”

Looking at Zhang Deyi’s grudge-filled expression, Su Yun got the sense that this guy had so serious baggage.

“Hey, you two! What are you talking about over there?” Apparently, Zhang Deyi had gotten a little too worked up—his loud voice caught the attention of the teacher up on the podium.

And just like that, Zhang Deyi was sentenced to stand for the rest of the class.

As for this whole matter, Su Yun thought it was fine this way—at least she didn’t have to get involved directly.

Hopefully everything will go smoothly.

She was also planning to stay in the group, not just to keep up with the situation, but to check for any new “intel.”

Intel—as in, new photos or info on the white-haired goddess...

That thought left a bitter taste in her heart.

But at least this way, she’d know if her identity was still safe—or if soone had caught her on cara.

“Good luck.” Lastly, Su Yun recalled Zhang Deyi’s swollen face and finally understood how it happened.

She was genuinely thankful, but felt it was awkward to say thanks—so she simply gave a bit of encouragent.

...

...

Morning classes ended. Next ca a long, two-and-a-half-day holiday.

Su Yun walked alone down the path leading out of school. She’d now decided not to take off her hat while on campus anymore.

And just now, sothing bad happened.

During class, soone had called her. She didn’t answer because it was during the lecture, but they left a ssage.

It was the landlady. Said she needed to check her ID—on move-in day it was too late, and she forgot to register her.

If she couldn’t provide an ID, she’d have to move out.

When it rains, it pours.

...

“Huh?”

When Su Yun got ho with a heavy heart, she was surprised to see sothing on her bed.

A ginger cat was curled up in the middle of her big white bed, sleeping soundly.

And judging from its size, it was still a kitten. It wasn’t fat either.

“Where did this co from?” Su Yun rubbed her eyes, suspicious. Opened them again—still there.

Ca in through the window? On the 11th floor?

That’s terrifying.

She gathered her courage and walked closer.

Upon closer look, she found the cat’s fur was very clean, like soone regularly grood it.

Probably not a stray.

Knock knock.

“?!” At that mont, there was a sudden knock on the door. It startled Su Yun so much she jumped.

She walked over to open it. Outside stood the rent lady—dark sunglasses, holding a massive key ring.

“You don’t have an ID right now?” The woman’s tone was imposing, and the registration clipboard in her hand looked more like a court summons.

“It’s with my parents. Can I register this weekend?” Su Yun asked ekly. Right now, she really did look like a fragile little girl.

“Fine. Just don’t forget.” The woman hesitated, adjusted her black glasses, then slowly walked off.

“...”

It’s over.

That ans Su Yun now has to tell her parents about the fact she turned into a girl, and ask them to co over this weekend.

The room went silent.

Su Yun slumped onto the bed, head hanging low like all her energy had been drained.

“ow~” At so point, the ginger kitten had woken up and was rubbing its head against her back. It tickled.

“Ugh... what am I supposed to do with this cat?”
