"So how did you two get here" I asked still trying to figure out this sudden turn of events.
Aisha sighed and mumbled "It’s a long story".
"Yes," Liliana confird, nodding vigorously. "We followed a clue left behind by Georg Faust. It led us to that godforsaken village and then to this creepy mansion."
She shuddered slightly, rembering the terrifying encounter with the dark knight.
"And when we got inside, that tal monstrosity ca out of nowhere and attacked us."
Aisha chid in, her voice still filled with adrenaline.
"We fought it, but it was too strong. Then I noticed a symbol on the floor, and when I got closer..."
She trailed off, gesturing vaguely at our current location.
"Boom. We ended up here."
I processed their words slowly, my mind connecting the dots.
So they had been on a dangerous mission, one that had nearly cost them their lives.
And now, through so twist of fate or magic, they had landed in my bedroom.
By dark knight, I guess you an that guardian golem Father left behind," phistopheles’ voice echoed through the room as she materialized from the shadows.
Her footsteps were heavy and deliberate, commanding attention as she approached us.
"So, you two managed to activate my little trap," she said, a hint of amusent in her tone as she looked at Aisha and Liliana.
"Impressive."
Aisha and Liliana tensed at her appearance, but they didn’t release their hold on .
"Your trap?" Liliana asked suspiciously.
"You knew we would co here?"
"Of course," phistopheles replied with a smug smile.
"Father’s clues were ant to lead you here, to . And now that you’re all together..."
She circled us slowly, her eyes gleaming with a predatory light."It’s ti for your training to begin in earnest.
Training?" Liliana muttered, her confusion evident. "What are you talking about?"Aisha looked at phistopheles with a cautious eye, her grip on tightening slightly.
"What do you an by that?" she asked, her voice steady despite the tension in the air.
"And let tell you," she added, a hint of defiance in her tone, "you won’t win this ti."
phistopheles let out a low, throaty laugh that sent shivers down their spines. "Oh, my dear Aisha," she purred.
"You underestimate ." She snapped her fingers, and the magic circle beneath us flared to life, its symbols glowing with an intense, pulsating light.
"Your training begins now," she announced as she glanced at making shiver at the mories of the training awhile ago. "And this ti, I won’t go easy on you."
As phistopheles spoke, both Liliana and Aisha instinctively stood up, ready to flee.
But before they could take a single step, a dark figure materialized in the corner of the room with a deafening clang of tal.
It was the sa terrifying dark knight from before, its armor gleaming nacingly in the glow of the magic circle.
Liliana and Aisha froze, their eyes wide with terror as they stared at the guardian golem.
"No..." Aisha whispered, her voice trembling.
"It can’t be."Liliana’s wings flared out defensively, but there was no escape. The knight blocked their path, its sword held aloft and ready to strike.
"Nowhere to run this ti," phistopheles said smugly, her voice dripping with satisfaction.
The knight took a heavy step forward, its movents deliberate and filled with purpose.
And so, the training began.
Liliana and Aisha were forced to face the overpowered knight, their movents a blur of desperation and skill as they fought for their lives.
anwhile, I stood before phistopheles, who held out a gleaming sword and a pair of ornate daggers.
"Your first lesson," she said, her voice sharp and commanding.
"Is to master these weapons."
She tossed the sword towards , and I caught it with a grunt.
The blade was heavy, unbalanced, and felt foreign in my hand.
"This is no ordinary weapon," phistopheles explained.
"It’s imbued with demonic energy. You must learn to harness its power." She then threw the daggers at my feet.
"And these will teach you speed and precision."
"Wait..." I began, but phistopheles cut off with a wave of her hand. She had a dark, lancholic look in her eyes as she stared at , and for a mont, she was silent.
"You didn’t tell how you knew Liliana and Aisha were coming," I pressed on.
"And what do you an by ’your father’? I don’t understand what’s going on anymore."
phistopheles sighed deeply, the sound heavy with unspoken sorrow.
"It’s complicated," she muttered, her gaze dropping to the floor.
"There are things you don’t know, things that even I don’t fully understand."She looked up at , her eyes filled with a sadness that made my heart ache.
"Father...he was more than just a man. He was a powerful sorcerer, and he left behind many secrets."
She paused, choosing her words carefully.
"But anyway, it’s not about ," phistopheles said, her voice tinged with a bitter edge.
"The girl who was Georg Faust’s daughter is long dead. No, I am just phistopheles, a demonic spirit who can only exist in this world by depending on another human."
She looked at pointedly, her aning clear. She needed to survive, and in return, she would train to be stronger.
Her attention then shifted back to the battle raging behind us.
Liliana and Aisha were tiring, their movents becoming slower as they struggled against the relentless knight.
"Enough playing around," phistopheles snapped.
"It’s ti for you to join the fight."
She gestured towards the weapons at my feet.
"Pick them up and show what you’ve learned. Defend your wives."
"So I just need to beat that dark ass knight," I muttered, picking up the heavy sword and testing its weight in my hand. It felt unbalanced, but as I focused my demonic energy into it, the blade began to hum with power. "Just that easy, huh?" I said with a grim smile.
phistopheles watched with a critical eye. "Easy? Nothing about this is easy," she retorted.
"That golem was forged by an Archmage’s own hands. It’s a formidable opponent, even for an anomaly like you." She pointed at the daggers on the floor. "Use those too. You’ll need every advantage you can get."
With a deep breath, I tightened my grip on the sword and charged towards the battle. Liliana and Aisha were back-to-back, their faces streaked with sweat and gri as they parried the knight’s relentless blows.
"Valerian!" Liliana exclaid, her voice strained with exhaustion and worry as she saw charging towards the battle.
"Don’t co here! This piece of junk is too powerful!"She tried to block the knight’s next swing, but it was too strong.
The blade slamd into her shield, sending her stumbling back.
"Get out of here!" Aisha shouted, her own wings battered and torn from the fight.
"We can handle this!"
But I ignored their warnings, my eyes fixed on the dark knight.
As I closed the distance, I could feel the golem’s power radiating off it in waves. It was like a physical force, pressing against and trying to intimidate into submission.
"Fuck you," I growled.
And ignoring my wives pleas.
I closed the distance in a few swift strides, my sword coated in crackling lightning.
With a roar, I swung the blade at the knight’s neck.
The golem raised its own sword to block, but it was too slow.
My lightning-infused weapon shattered its defenses, the electric energy arcing across its armor and causing it to stumble back.
"Valerian!" Aisha cried out, a mix of surprise and relief in her voice.
"Now that’s more like it," phistopheles comnted from the sidelines, a satisfied smirk on her face.
The knight recovered quickly, its movents regaining their deadly precision.
It turned its attention to , its glowing eyes fixed on my position.
"You’re strong," it rumbled, its voice like grinding stone. "But not strong enough."
"Oh yeah?" I sneered, my body crackling with lightning.
"How about this!"
As I spoke, a transformation rippled through . Wolf ears sprouted from my hair, a tail swished behind , and demonic horns curled from my temples.
My eyes blazed red, and vines erupted from my skin, wrapping around my limbs and torso. My shirt tore apart, revealing the symbol of a cross surrounded by branches of a tree on my chest.
"What the hell..." Liliana breathed, her eyes wide with astonishnt.
"Your bloodline," phistopheles murmured, her voice filled with a newfound respect.
"It’s stronger than I thought."
The dark knight hesitated for the first ti, its glowing eyes widening as it took in my new form.
"Impossible," it growled, but there was a note of uncertainty in its voice.
"You think you can defeat now?"
"Then let’s see," I snarled, my voice a low growl. I slashed at the knight with my daggers, but it parried the blows with ease. The clash of tal on tal echoed through the room."Is that all you’ve got?" the golem taunted, its movents fluid and powerful.
"Not even close," I replied, a feral grin spreading across my face. The daggers were just a distraction, a teaser for what was to co. With a roar, I launched myself at the knight, my sword held high."Now, let’s dance!"

Hey everyone,
I wanted to take a second to be real with you guys about the state of the story lately.
I know the updates have been all over the place and the grammar has honestly been a bit of a ss. I’m also aware that so plotholes are starting to pop up, and I really want you to know that I’m not ignoring them.
I’m definitely planning to go back and fix the mistakes and tighten up the plot, but life has been throwing a lot of curveballs my way lately.
Dealing with various things in the real world has made it pretty tough to give the story the polish it deserves, and I hate that it shows in the writing.
If you’re still enjoying the journey despite the rough patches, I’d love for you to join my Discord.
It’s the best place to chat with directly, suggest ideas to help fix those plotholes, or just hang out and show so support while I get back on track.
Your patience seriously ans everything to , and having you there to help catch things I miss would be a huge help.
Thanks for sticking by through the chaos!
