"Well, I’m not the one making decisions around here. Landon will decide that." Penny said.
"Oh no, he doesn’t have a choice on this one. Father already agreed to pay him a huge amount of money to be my husband." Osvaldo adjusted his face mask, his blue eyes on his penguin and hers on him.
He said nothing to see her reaction a little. His knew his Penguin was jealous but her next words killed every confidence he had in her.
"Congratulations to you two then." Penny smiled and stepped inside. Hughes stared at her boss, wondering what was going on, before stepping in with her miss Penny.
Sofie then smiled and turned to the man beside her. "We’re going to get married Landon." Those blue eye t hers and she shuddered at his stare.
"We’re not getting married Sofie." He said and walked in leaving Sofie all alone.

"I told you miss Penny, my master is not to be trusted." Hughes said behind her mistress as they stepped inside her room.
"He isn’t." Penny said hurtfully, her eyes already moist with tears. She hated what she had seen. And she hated that she couldn’t claim him before everyone as hers because of his stupid actions of before.
Her father will never understand Osvaldo needs help and a little training. He’d never forgive Osvaldo after everything that had happened.
"I want to be left alone Hughes." Penny said calmly to her maid who understood and stepped out.
Penny moved to her bed and sat on it. Maybe this was for the best. She couldn’t go against her family for Osvaldo. Xavier is her father and the only man that loves her even more than himself.
She had placed Osvaldo on that level too, until he tried to kill her children.
Penny wiped her tears. She shouldn’t be crying for a man who had tired to kill her, but here she is. Her stupid heart just cannot take it.
Penny felt her room door open and she turned her face to the other side. "I told you to go Hughes."
"I’m not Hughes." She turned at the sound of the familiar deep voice and more tears spilled out.
"Get out." Penny said.
"Not until I show you I’ve finally cried as you wanted." Osvaldo moved closer, tears spilling from his eyes. "Can you no longer keep avoiding . I’ve finally cried." Penny cried even more seeing him.
"Osvaldo go to your new wife." Penny said.
"What wife? You’re my only wife." He said calmly.
"It’s alright to push away however you like, but I’m not leaving ever Penguin." He heard her sniffle.
"S... So you don’t want to get married to Sofie?" He shook her head and moved closer to her.
"I’m already married to you Penguin." He ca to squat before her, tears falling in drops from his eyes.
"Then why did you let her kiss you you man whore." She slapped his shoulders and hitting anywhere her hands could reach.
"Because I had no idea she wanted to kiss ." Osvaldo used his hands to block her from hitting his face more, then he held both her hands and pressed her against the bed.
"You should have stopped her before she did. But you let her! You should have pushed her away when she did. But you didn’t. You enjoyed it!" Penny yelled trying to break free from him her vision blurring till more tears spilled from the corner of her eyes.
She was broken. Why do all the n she love get stolen?
"I didn’t," Osvaldo said urgently. "I didn’t know I was allowed to push her away. You told I couldn’t hurt families, and I was being careful with Sofie."
"That’s not true," Penny sobbed. "You hate now because I’m ugly, moody, and have a big tummy."
"That’s not true," Osvaldo said firmly with a frown. He’d never hate his Penguin, Never. "Never think that. I love you even more now."
"Lies!" Penny cried out. She was so hurt to be scared that anyone would hear them. She was heartbroken.
"What do you want to do to make you believe , Penguin?" he asked desperately. "I’m sorry. I would never cheat on you. Never."
He continued, "I know I never said this before. Back then, I didn’t understand my feelings. I thought I could live without you. That was a lie."
Osvaldo shook his head, tears falling down. "I can’t. I tried. I almost went crazier than I already am. I love you, Penelope. More than myself. And I’m sorry for hurting what you love. I didn’t understand then. I’m still learning now."
Penny slowly stopped struggling.
"I hated our children because I thought they would hurt you," he continued, his tears falling onto her hands. "Not because I didn’t want them."
"I’m not mad Osvaldo," Penny said softly.
She lifted her gaze to him. "Osvaldo, you should have talked to instead of trying to harm ."
"Our children have a fifty percent chance of being normal from ," she said gently, smiling through tears. "And no matter how they turn out, we’ll love them. Always."
His breath trembled.
"Can I sit now?" Penny asked.
Osvaldo nodded and released her. She sat up, and he sat beside her, staring at her blue eyes then slowly, those eyes fell on her soft pink lips. Penny was smiling, the smile that had always undone him.
She looked happy. Truly happy. For the first ti since he had seen her again.
"Did you really an it," she asked softly, holding his finger, "when you said you love ?"
"I love you, Penguin," he said quietly. "Not because I want sothing. Not because I’m afraid to lose you. I’m saying it because it’s the truth. I’ve fallen in love with you Penguin."
Penny cried again, hugging herself instinctively. Telling herself to stop. She never thought a day would co when she would hear this from Osvaldo.
"I love you too, Osvaldo," she whispered.
They both smiled.
"You can stop crying now," Penny said softly, wiping his tears with her thumb.
"They’ll stop soon," he said calmly. "It’s the crying drug I took since I couldn’t produce tears on my own. I used the ten-minute dosage."
She frowned slightly, then smiled, her heart swelling. He had gone to such lengths just to show her how much she ant to him.
"Now stop being such a crybaby Penguin." He wiped her tears and she smiled.
"I love you," Penny said again.
"I love you more, my Penguin."
He leaned in to kiss her, and this ti, she didn’t pull away. She kissed him back, her hands sliding into his hair. Suddenly, she paused.
"Did you really cut your hair Osvaldo?" she asked with a smile.
Osvaldo grinned and pulled off his wig, letting his real hair fall free. Penny laughed softly, her eyes shining.
Oh, how she had missed her madman.
She kissed him again, deeper this ti, hungrier than before...
