"What are you thinking about? Recently, the Palace is setting things up, and I have to go to the Golden Guards’ early to finalize everything. Do you think I want to be up at the crack of dawn? It’s all to make ti to be with you, you heartless little thing." Jiang Yichun said while pinching her nose.
Bai Ruozhu lazily lifted her arms to wrap around his neck and planted a big kiss on his handso face.
"How am I heartless? Haven’t I made it up to you?" She laughed.
Jiang Yichun gritted his teeth, "Not enough!"
Before he could finish his words, he lunged at her, and the clothes he had half put on were stripped off again...
By the ti they hit the road again, Bai Ruozhu looked a little resentful and mumbled, "Who said we needed to hurry and couldn’t delay the journey?"
Jiang Yichun awkwardly scratched his nose, "You were the one teasing ."
Bai Ruozhu humd twice and simply ignored him.
This ti, they didn’t reach their resting place until it was completely dark. Jiang Yichun saw the dark circles under her eyes and tenderly helped her wash up before holding her to bed.
True to his word, he behaved himself and slept through the night.
On the third day, when they reached the mountain road, the situation turned out to be much better than they had expected. The weather had been fine for several days, the snow on the mountain road had lted, and the ground was half-dry, making the journey not difficult.

Throughout their journey, he didn’t bring up their initial argunt, and Bai Ruozhu didn’t ask either. She thought that even if they had differences in opinion, she could "brainwash" him over ti. Unexpectedly, he had already realized his mistake.
Jiang Yichun was the kind of person who despised saying one thing and doing another. If he admitted his mistake, then he truly realized it and was willing to change.
Bai Ruozhu felt warmth in her heart. For such a proud man to reconsider his ways for her and admit his mistakes, how could she not be satisfied?
"I’ve already warned him, and he’s sworn not to speak further." Bai Ruozhu said.
Jiang Yichun smiled, "Good."
After watching Jiang Yichun ride away, Bai Ruozhu took her people to inspect the problematic dicine field.
"Master, you’re finally here! The dicines in the field are wasted, and experienced dicine farrs say the land is no good. No way to grow dicine in the future!" As soon as they arrived, Sui Ge ca forward anxiously.
Bai Ruozhu nodded at Sui Ge. It wasn’t easy for him either, managing these fields for her. Originally just collecting dicinal materials, he didn’t expect sothing like this to happen, practically exiling him to North Mountain recently.
"Take to see. There might still be a redy." Bai Ruozhu was the kind of person who wouldn’t give up until the last mont.
"Alright, alright, I knew you’d have a way, Master." Sui Ge breathed a sigh of relief.
Sui Ge led the way, and Bai Ruozhu’s group went to the problematic fields. They hadn’t yet arrived when they saw a crowd gathered from afar, noisily arguing about sothing.
Sui Ge’s face changed slightly, a bit embarrassed, "It must be the dicine farrs here to stir up trouble over the fields having issues."
"They’ve caused trouble before?" Bai Ruozhu frowned.

Bai Ruozhu quickly considered the situation. The dicine farrs truly were innocent in this matter. Looking at it from another perspective, the rented fields indeed had problems, though not initially. Soone had sabotaged them.
Of course, she wouldn’t make the dicine farrs bear these losses.
"Let’s go take a look. I’ll speak to them." Bai Ruozhu said.
Sui Ge led the way. As soon as they got closer, soone shouted, "Look, Manager Xu is here. He better give us an explanation today!"
A group of dicine farrs responded, all staring intently at Sui Ge.
Sui Ge chuckled awkwardly, "What explanation can I give? The owner is here today, and she will have a few words with everyone."
He then looked at Bai Ruozhu and introduced, "This is Master Bai, the owner of these fields. She’s a female Chief Doctor in the Palace, personally appointed by the Emperor as a fourth-rank officer. Many of these fields are imperial gifts."
Seeing Bai Ruozhu, so people appeared skeptical. After all, Bai Ruozhu was a woman, and a young one at that.
Fortunately, Sui Ge, being experienced, already knew what these people thought and directly clarified Bai Ruozhu’s identity, managing to calm down the dicine farrs.
Bai Ruozhu smiled at them and said, "I know everyone is worried about the problems in the dicine fields. Now that I’m here, I’ll explain things clearly."
"Master Bai, is there any hope for our dicine fields?" an impatient dicine farr asked.
"I have to take a good look before I can say for sure." Bai Ruozhu said, casting a glance at the problematic fields. She suspected it was unlikely they could be saved.
She withdrew her gaze and continued, "As you’ve guessed, the issues in the fields were caused by soone with malice. The responsibility does not lie with you, so this season’s rent will be waived."
The dicine farrs were dumbfounded. They thought the owner would just pacify them with so vague words and possibly reduce the rent a bit. But to their surprise, Master Bai waived the entire rent for the season right away!
There was even more surprise to co. Bai Ruozhu went on to say, "Moreover, for the fields with problems, you can claim a compensation from Manager Xu. After all, you’ve lost your dicinal material seedlings, and the hard work of these two months was for nothing."
"Am I dreaming?" a dazed dicine farr asked.
The farr next to him pinched him, causing him to yelp. The person beside said, "Not a dream, our owner is a great benefactor!"
Bai Ruozhu chuckled and continued, "After I’ve examined the fields, I’ll quickly find a solution. When the ti cos, I’ll inform everyone about what to do. If recovery takes ti, we won’t charge you extra rent during that period."
