The Ashlight Sect’s laboratory is located in the center of a group of floating structures behind the main house. It’s well-hidden, and there are many Ashlight Family floating Knights guarding the periter. In theory, whoever approaches, even if it’s just a bird, these guards would send the relevant information to Ian’s terminal.
And Ian’s terminal has long been connected to the Silver Chip, yet he did not receive the ssage that ’the Fae have arrived.’
So, the situation is quite simple... The Fae have apparently bypassed the guards to give Ian a surprise!
Yet Ian ended up giving them a surprise instead.
"Welco, my esteed guests...!"
Of course, while Ian gave them a surprise, in return, the Fae startled Ian.
The white-haired young man opened his eyes slightly wider, quite shocked to see two Fae floating in a rather peculiar posture at the entrance to the laboratory.
Among them, the one on top is the tutor of Ian’s friend, Miss Hua’an, Lady Gansong, with white hair and green eyes. As in the past, she still dressed like a poor researcher, clearly still without any funding.
As for the one below... or rather, the one Lady Gansong was riding...
"Orca?!"
Ian could not help but exclaim, "And a red orca at that!"
Indeed, as Ian said, before his eyes appeared a red and white orca, roughly the size of two palm spans!
The top half of this orca was red, a refined form of so kind of Blood Pattern Steel, while the bottom half was Eternal Condensing Ice, an upper-tier refined form of Uncorrodable Ice, both very rare materials... but compared to its appearance, these materials were not important.
The orca, seeing Ian’s surprised expression, flapped joyfully, looking very cheerful and happy.
"Long ti no see, Ian."
Lady Gansong, riding on the orca, skillfully soothed the orca beneath her to calm it down: "I really didn’t expect that in just a year, you would achieve so much—and even I couldn’t see through your Prophet identity, it’s truly unexpectedly impressive!"
Lady Gansong’s voice still carried an easy and fresh rhythm, like the tinkling of spring water, making one unconsciously captivated by it, as she smiled and greeted Ian: "I probably don’t need to introduce myself, and this one beneath is my tutor, Frozen Fish JiShuang."
"Ah. Oh. Um..."
Even with Ian’s computing ability, he was montarily stuck, internally ranting ’what’s going on under there’ ’you have your tutor beneath you?’ ’it looks so happy?’ ’why?! Why an orca?! Why is there an orca here, and a red one at that?!’.
But even so, his body instinctively wore a spring-like smile, chatting and laughing with Lady Gansong and Frozen Fish: "Ah, we accidentally talked for too long, please co in first."
"Alright~"
"Okay!"
The front voice like a spring breeze was naturally from ntor Gansong, while the rear, giving a refreshing and clear feeling, was from Frozen Fish.
—So you can actually talk!
A talking miniature red orca, Ian almost couldn’t keep it together, but he was well-versed and broad-seeing, so he managed to hold it together... Fae could, after all, communicate spiritually even if they couldn’t speak.
And once the two Fae entered the laboratory, with ntor Gansong’s explanation, Ian finally understood.
The Fae are a race that pursues beauty.
But beauty is not exclusive to humans—there’s an abundance of beauty in this world, human perspectives are simply too narrow. Not to ntion, humans appreciating animals often only view their fur, physique, and muscles from their own perspective, the sa applies to trees.
So humans find Fold-ear cats, for example, beautiful, yet they are a symbol of sickness; the sa applies to bonsai and flowers. So so Fae have abandoned the perspective of humans, these so-called intelligent beings, and attempted to experience a broader beauty from nature’s viewpoint.
In other words...
"How about it! Isn’t it strong, graceful, and smooth?"
Frozen Fish Madam... or perhaps Mr. Frozen Fish? After all, Fae can’t be defined by gender, and this Frozen Fish Orca had no gender, so could only be referred to as a ntor.
At this mont, it was enthusiastically wiggling back and forth on the seat in front of Ian, as if really swimming in the ocean: "I’ve observed ninety percent of the orca pods in Terra Septem Maria, led them to unite and coexist, and established the Great North Sea Orca Republic! My orca body is undoubtedly the strongest, most beautiful, and most attractive to other orcas in all of Terra!"
Obviously, Frozen Fish Tutor was quite proud of its achievents.
"So impressive..."
And Ian could not help but sigh, not because of strength or the beauty of orcas, but marveling at how the orcas in Terra had evolved such intelligence to understand statehood and collaborate to form a nation... Sotis without visiting, one truly has no idea how many bizarre countries and groups exist in this world.
Indeed, it’s Terra.
On the other side, Master Gravie kept a calm face, which was expected, given he’d lived through nurous years and probably seen all sorts of eccentric Fae; the old man even reminded: "No need for small talk, let’s get down to business first."
Indeed.
"Ian. I am one of Fallen Star City’s Fairy Council of Twelve, the Ice Seat. Also one of the administrators of the Land of Bliss Township."
