I rember the feeling of my father holding young , placing on his shoulders to gaze at the distant mountains.

My father, Inega II, was the most powerful person in the world. Perhaps in terms of pure strength, Teacher Hiliard was stronger, but even Teacher Hiliard was drawn to him, becoming part of his power. No one would separate the two.

He was like the real sun, guiding our direction in the sky, heralding the arrival of daylight. No matter who it was, even enemies could see the future illuminated by this light, hence they feared, hence they worried.

I am not the eldest son, nor the youngest. I am not burdened with any expectations. Though I share the Sunbird Blood, I did not wish to reach the Fifth Energy Level; I had no desire to compete with my other siblings. I rely wanted to enjoy the tranquility of being the son of the Pioneer Emperor, a peace and calmness as if having a mountain to rely on.

Yet my father still embraced firmly, smiling as he patted my shoulder when I grew up.

"Axel," he sighed, "Unknowingly, you have grown so much."

"Grow well, for in the future, I will need your help with many things."

I had almost no desires. I didn’t like indulgence, nor did I like passion. I just liked wandering around, climbing higher peaks with my hands instead of wings. I enjoyed that kind of activity that seed like a waste of ti, akin to plants stretching their branches and leaves in the sunlight. I should have fearfully bowed my head and told my father, ’I dare not.’

But sohow, feeling the firmness and warmth of my father’s hand, seeing the wrinkles at the corners of his eyes, my heart seed to suddenly start turning, as if a precision clockwork long stagnant had the switch flipped, surging with an unprecedented impulse as I wished.

"I will."

I promised.

Even to this day, I have not forgotten the agreent between my father and .

Bathing in the light, I don’t know how much ti had passed. In the pure Aether, there was no other life. Everything was dissolved and lted by the pure, clean, and silent light. The man, in the light, recalled and pondered again and again, looking back at the past and gazing into the future.

His plan was proceeding steadily. The Arcane Pathway was an unexpected delight, attracting everyone’s attention and becoming a safety net for his plan. Up until now, it was such that he could face the future fearlessly and wield his ans at will.

This contemplation continued until another beam of light raced in from the farthest edge of the continent, brilliant, dazzling, pure as before, just as he had been back then.

Axel raised his head; his Aether organs sensed that his child Michael’s power was stable and condensed, the immortal will carrying the aura of the ancient Ancestral True Dragon. Indeed, he had reached the Fifth Energy Level and, moreover, was the most powerful "Master Throne."

"Well done, my child."

He praised, "I awaited your big brother’s divine form, awaited your big sister’s extinction light, but in the end, it was you, it was you who stood before , the purest light."

Saying so, he pushed forward with one palm, seemingly a simple reach, yet it appeared as if he wanted to pat his child’s shoulder.

The Imperial Capital.

The people of the Imperial Capital, sheltered by the Planetary Shield Generator, were not much troubled by the Calamity of Light. The vast descending infinite light energy and Origin Quality hit the shield supporting heaven and earth, forming a massive, bowl-shaped shield covering the entire Imperial Center region centered on the Quinor Plains.

Like clouds and mist, the condensed natural Origin Quality turned into layered flowing clouds, swirling around this ultra-large shield, even obscuring the sun and sky, so that everyone in the Imperial Capital could see only a pure white cloud of light.

But the mont Axel intervened, all the light clouds covering a radius of a hundred thousand miles began to flow as if driven by a gust of strong wind. Countless brilliant light and mist flowed and dispersed, revealing the real sky behind.

And a transverse light!

The light carried by Michael illuminated all things in the world, making colors more vivid—the reds beca redder, the greens beca greener. The structures, cities, and people originally blurred by the strong light beca even more distinct.

The light maneuvered by Axel engulfed everything in pure white. All colors, forms, and even existence had to collapse and vanish in this pure and flawless light, turning into nothingness.

The two beams of light collided, and the entire Terra was illuminated in an instant by light ten tis stronger than the Calamity of Light, causing even the Thousand-Star Beast deep underground to slightly curl up, as if stimulated by the light, making the entire Terra Continent slightly shake, resulting in an earthquake both tiny and grand affecting the whole continent.

But as the two beams of light collided, they suddenly cald, turning into void.

Both Axel and Michael disappeared along with their lights, as if heading to another battlefield.

"The battle has begun."

Watching all this, Ian saw that, in the Domain of Void, pure light and pure white light were clashing and intertwining. Their battle spanned ordinary space-ti and the Domain of Void, casting aurora-like streams of light in the sky, drawing two glorious, shining divine birds, like two suns revolving around each other, rising with coronal arcs and incandescent light.

The white-haired Prophet remained calm, although sowhat abrupt, but he was prepared for everything. Ian spoke: "Adalbert, Sio, return to Xiahui City. Adalbert, prepare to unleash the Giant of Light. The Calamity of Light will surely beco more violent later; take this opportunity to connect everyone with you."

"Sio, pass on the ssage to Dragon Island."

"Tell the Dragon Kings that the battle between Michael and Axel will determine the direction of the Perpetual Motion Machine and the future of the entire Cradle. Ensure no one but interferes in the outco of this battle."

"No problem."

Adalbert gazed upon the trail of light left by Michael. He took a deep breath and then said sternly, "But, Ian, how do you intend to interfere in this battle? Though you possess Fourth Level strength, against these true Fifth Energy Levels..."

He left his latter words unsaid.

—Against these true Fifth Energy Levels, a Fourth Level can’t even withstand the aftershocks of their battle!

"Therefore, I’m going to fully achieve the Fourth Stage of the Arcane Pathway."

In response to Adalbert’s doubts, Ian was unmoved. Even seeing Michael’s and Axel’s power firsthand, he was instead filled with confidence: "Though indeed powerful, if that’s all there is to it."

"I’m fully qualified to step in!"

With that said, Ian’s figure disappeared, and in the Iron Dragon Nest, majestic clouds of Origin Quality and light gathered once again, swirling like a vortex funnel, converging toward the center of the nest.

Endless clouds and starlight flowed and rotated, transforming into an enormous, seemingly vacuuming the heavens and earth funnel nebula.

[I have comprehended all principles and rules]

And Ian’s voice erged from within: [I will forge my Aether True Body here]

[I will forge my Aether True Body here]

This voice echoed not only in the Silverpeak Domain and Iron Dragon Nest.

On the New Continent, atop the Sky Ladder Tree, the Glass Emperor Dragon perched on the treetop.

At the Holy Mountain, under the gaze of the Huai Guang Swarm, the Pioneer of Iron delved into the depths of the Holy Ground.

[Then inscribe and render, my own immortal nature!]
