Chapter 450: Spirit Clothes
"Clothes?" Leo muttered in confusion when he saw four sets of clothes and a few pieces of footwear inside the spatial ring.
He imdiately took one out and started examining it. And, as he expected, it wasn’t just so random clothing, but fabric woven with sothing called spirit threads.
Any piece of cloth made from spirit threads was almost immune to physical blows, and even elental magic attacks like fire, water, and wind were nearly ineffective at damaging it. Stabs and slashes would simply nd over ti.
Not to ntion, they never got dirty and always remained in pristine condition as long as there was mana in the surroundings.
Even blood splattered over them could simply be wiped away like water, leaving no marks behind.
Naturally, such clothes were extrely expensive. A single square centitre piece of fabric costs 1000 AC, which simply ant a single shirt almost reached around 9 to 10 million AC.
"Damn... 4 sets?" Leo realised Gunther had casually thrown almost 110 to 120 million AC at him if he included things like scarves, caps, and even undergarnts.
The four sets were for different occasions. One was simple casual wear for around the house or his personal space. One was a suit ant for parties or formal functions, another was the academy uniform with the academy symbol, and the last one was ant for combat. They were even higher quality than the ones Brant had given him back in Trial City.
"There’s even a colour change function?" Leo was amazed. He tried changing the clothes by channelling mana into them, and it worked. The colour shifted according to the amount of mana infused into the fabric.
No mana ant white, a minuscule amount ant green, then progressively blue, purple, yellow, orange, red, gold, black-gold, and finally black. There was even colour mixing; if he infused mana from two different locations, he could actually create entirely new colours.
With the luxurious clothes in his hand, Leo looked down at what he was currently wearing.
Bare-chested and black pants that remained intact only because of Gunther’s magic. There were no shoes either.
He didn’t say anything and imdiately constructed a vine barrier around himself, which he tore down soon enough, erging in a cream t-shirt and black trousers.
The last thing he wanted was for Gunther, who could still be lurking around sowhere, to see him naked and changing clothes in the middle of the forest.
And just like he guessed, Gunther was still observing him from the sky.
"This kid... has he already ford such a big spiritual boundary?" he muttered in confusion after sensing that the Crocodrake’s corpse had completely disappeared.
Since the body was far too large to be stored in any cheap spatial equipnt, the only conclusion he could arrive at was Leo’s spiritual boundary.
Gunther already knew Leo possessed a spiritual boundary and even an island within it because there was a little defence protecting Leo’s soul that existed without any techniques or skills. A Spiritual Island inside one’s spiritual space acted as a defensive line that needed to be destroyed before the soul itself could be attacked.
"But large enough to store that beast along with so many other things?" Katherine had inford Gunther about how Leo managed to store all the disposable arrows from the Frozen Waterfall Secret Realm, and even the tallic feathers of the avian beast from the storm.
At that ti, they dismissed the matter, saying Leo and Lily always carried multiple spatial rings and could have broken the items into smaller pieces to fit them. But now, cutting apart the beast into smaller pieces that quickly was impossible for Leo’s currently hidden strength even.
"Exactly how large is it?"
As a soul expert, Gunther had mastered a preliminary thod to estimate a person’s soul rank without equipnt and could tell Leo’s soul was sowhere between Rare and Super Rare. And that wasn’t enough for a naturally ford spiritual boundary, born purely from coincidence or low enlightennt without any proper technique, to be large enough to hold the beast’s corpse.
But what Gunther couldn’t sense was Leo’s Mythical Soul. Few people knew that the gap between a Super Rare Soul and a Mythical Soul exceeded 1000 tis in terms of quality and power. And Leo’s naturally ford spiritual boundary, assisted by the deity beast Dryad, was more than 1000 tis larger than what Gunther had estimated. As a matter of fact, because of Niri, Leo’s spiritual boundary was far, far superior to what even techniques could help him create.
This was another benefit of possessing a good and compatible beast. Not to ntion, Niri was a Royal beast.
Gunther didn’t deliberate further and finally departed for the other work he had delayed because of Leo’s training, though he made a ntal note to look into this matter further later on.
Down below, Leo was relishing the comfort the clothes provided. Though solid in texture on the outside, the clothes were impossibly soft against the skin. He ran his fingers over the sleeves and felt the muscles beneath; the contours were clear as if there were no clothes at all, yet the softness of the fabric didn’t make it feel like he was naked.
"This is just aweso," he said, testing the fabric between his fingers. It felt impossibly soft and slippery.
"What if Lily wore this while—" He stopped mid-sentence, realising his desires were once again running wild.
"Tsk tsk, nothing beats her natural skin," Leo imdiately corrected himself, knowing the touch of the fabric was nothing compared to her heavenly body.
"But it could still be very useful in a not-so-good place to be nake—" He halted his thoughts once again.
"Maybe my desires are getting more out of control the stronger I grow..." he excused himself, blaming his increasing strength for his uncontrollable thoughts.
And that was true. The stronger one beca, the greater the desires that grew within them. Though it was relatively mild for races like Humans and Elves, for dragons and demons, it was an entirely different matter. There had even been recorded cases where such activities continued for months without stopping.
And it wasn’t only males who were subjected to such desires; females had it worse—or better—depending on the circumstances.
This was one of the reasons harems and reverse harems were common in this world, because a single partner was simply not enough.
Well, it was different for a few.
And those included couples like Leo and Lily, and Brant and Katherine. Where both partners were almost equal in strength, aning they were enough to satisfy each other, making harems aningless unless soone simply wanted to fulfil their fantasy of having multiple partners.
