It did not take Yu Xuan long to find him.
Xin Juesheng was already standing outside, as if he had been waiting.
Yu Xuan blinked.
’How did he age by ten years?’ he wondered silently.
The Human Emperor looked noticeably older than before.
The vigor that ancient figures often bragged about seed less convincing now, as if even soone like him could feel the passage of ti under certain circumstances.
"You’re out," Xin Juesheng said, studying Yu Xuan with a slightly tired gaze.
Even his voice sounded heavier.
"You took quite a long ti."
Yu Xuan could not help but comnt.
"Old Ancestor... you look like you’ve aged quite a lot."
Xin Juesheng’s expression instantly darkened.
"What do you an aged?"
Yu Xuan imdiately sensed the invisible danger in the air.
"Nothing," he said quickly.
"I was just thinking about what the Leader ntioned earlier... the ceremony to awaken the Supre Will."
The Human Emperor stared at him for a mont before waving his hand dismissively.
"Forget it. I don’t want to argue with a child."
With a simple gesture, space shifted.
The two of them appeared inside Xin Juesheng’s personal realm.
"Sit."
A table and two cushions materialized before them.
Both took their seats.
Before continuing, the Human Emperor looked directly at Yu Xuan.
"Before we begin, I must ask you sothing, what is your ultimate goal in life?"
Yu Xuan paused.
The question was sudden and unexpectedly difficult.
"That’s not sothing I can summarize in a single word or sentence," he replied slowly, still thinking.
Xin Juesheng nodded slightly.
"For an artisan, the ultimate goal might be the highest honors within the Heavens, for a cultivator, it could be to beco the strongest, for a sovereign, it would be to conquer everything in sight."
His gaze sharpened.
"So tell , what do you want in life?"
Yu Xuan thought for a mont.
"There is a place I want to visit," he said at last.
"And I don’t think I’ll be able to reach it unless I beco strong enough."
He was thinking of Earth.
Xin Juesheng frowned.
"That is a shallow goal," he said bluntly.
"What if the place you wish to visit no longer exists by the ti you arrive? Would that make your entire journey aningless?"
He did not like speaking so harshly.
But Yu Xuan’s future potential was far too extraordinary for him to ignore.
Yu Xuan’s gaze drifted across this place before answering.
"It would still be fine, if that place no longer exists... then I already have another place to return to."
He spoke quietly.
Xin Juesheng’s eyes narrowed.
’So he truly is reincarnated...’
The thought crossed his mind instantly confirming his early suspicion.
But another question followed.
’Is he from one of those worlds?’
There were certain places in the Heavens that even soone like the Human Emperor treated carefully.
One wrong judgnt regarding those worlds could easily trigger consequences far beyond a single individual.
Consequences that might even lead to the annihilation of the Human race itself.
’There’s no rush, I will learn the truth eventually.’ Xin Juesheng thought calmly.
He looked at Yu Xuan again before speaking.
"Just consider this the ramblings of an old man who has lived long enough to see many worlds," he said.
"But never walk the future without a goal."
He looked straight into his eyes as he he continued.
"Even Immortals lose their minds when they no longer know why they exist and although I doubt you will fall into this trap... do not walk the Emotionless Path while you are still in your mortal stages."
His gaze beca more serious.
"That path can either beco the foundation of your rise... or the beginning of your downfall."
He paused before adding another piece of advice.
"And rember this as well, every person connected to you by blood is automatically your enemy or greatest ally, because sotis bloodlines matter far more than you may realize."
Thus began a surprisingly long lecture.
Xin Juesheng spoke about cultivation, willpower, ambition, and the countless people he had seen rise and fall across the ages.
Yu Xuan listened quietly.
"Understood," he finally replied.
He could sense genuine goodwill from the old Human Emperor.
Still.
After recalling the warning his future self had given him, a faint doubt lingered in his heart.
’He definitely learned sothing from that ceremony,’ Xin Juesheng thought as he observed Yu Xuan’s expression.
’That’s good... though I hope he doesn’t beco overly paranoid.’
After a brief silence, the Human Emperor’s tone changed.
"Alright, you will now begin the awakening of your Supre Will, but do not assu this process is safe as there was once a challenger who failed to condense their Supre Will." he paused for a mont as if recalling that.
"He was forced to leave this place... with mories erased."
"What?" Yu Xuan exclaid, imdiately becoming serious.
Now this truly felt like a genuine trial.
Still.
He had no intention of losing.
He did not believe his talent was inferior to anyone else’s.
"Did everyone who left without completing the challenge lose their mories?" Yu Xuan asked.
"Yes," Xin Juesheng replied calmly.
"There are no exceptions however, after reaching a certain level in the future, those mories eventually return. But if you succeed here... you will retain everything and that will give you a trendous advantage."
Yu Xuan nodded slowly.
"Enough explanations," Xin Juesheng said at last.
"Close your eyes."
Yu Xuan followed the instructions.
Then the Human Emperor gave his final warning.
"No matter what happens inside... rember yourself, rember who you are because if you forget... you will die a conceptual death."
Yu Xuan steadied his mind getting ready for this ntal tribulation.
Then Xin Juesheng reached into his sleeve and pulled out a strange object.
It looked like a four-dinsional cube, its structure twisting in ways that ordinary space could not replicate.
With a flick of his hand.
The cube expanded and enveloped Yu Xuan completely.
In the outside world.
Yu Xuan vanished.
Even to Xin Juesheng who was observing him, it felt like Yu Xuan did not exist.
