Grey cald his mind, and after a brief mont of consideration, he decided it was best he first tried to refine the space elental treasure. He had a higher mastery over his space elent, so he believed that the chances of acquiring sothing from the space orb were higher. Of course, he didn't know if there would be any gains, but he didn't have the ti to think about the possible end result of his retreat.
Without wasting any ti, he took out the box that contained the space orb, and after taking it out, he used his essence to wrap it, letting it float in front of him as he started to use his essence to refine it while he closed his eyes in a ditative state to fully imrse himself in the process of refining the space orb. The space orb was covered by Grey's essence, but in truth, Grey was trying to use his essence to slt the orb and integrate whatever was inside into his body.
Grey knew the quality of the space orb wasn't ordinary, so he didn't expect to get an instant response. He diligently tried to use his essence to slt the space orb, and before he knew it, he had lost track of ti as all his focus was on dealing with the space orb.
....
Outside the Earth vein, Grey's battle was still the main subject of attention, but most of the youths were also slowly becoming less active. They could all sense the undercurrents as they knew that the Faction didn't just carelessly open its doors for others to co and train. Whatever reason the Faction had to want to allow others to grow, they knew that it was of utmost importance. So of those with high enough status had learned about the looming danger.
The Pyro Faction leaders planned to inform the rest of the Faction mbers during the opening of the Earth vein.
Two weeks went by in a flash, and when the news of the Gno's supposedly upcoming attack, they couldn't help but panic. Unlike those in the outside world, these people knew the real reason why they'd been in this small world for thousands of years without going out. The details of the great war weren't well known by them, but they at least knew that the casualties were very high, and many Factions on the sa level as their own were wiped out of existence during said war. If the Gnos were coming again, then they needed to prepare for war.
The Pyro World didn't enter a state of depression after this news, rather, all of them were filled with fighting spirit. Their Ancestors fought this battle and managed to survive; since their Ancestors managed to survive, then there's a chance that they, too, will be able to survive this.
The Pyro World isn't the only place experiencing such feelings, almost all the ancient Factions were going through this phase. They all inford their Faction mbers of this news around the sa ti, and since most of these Factions were in a state where a lot of people were given the chance to improve their strength, they were all energized as they all strived to grow stronger. This was the only way they could keep their lives, so they didn't dare to be negligent.
The entire Aurora Continent entered a quiet state as everyone was madly improving their strengths. The Factions Alice and Reynolds belonged to, just like Grey and Klaus' Factions, also visited one of these ancient Factions and obtained an opportunity to grow their strength. Alice and Reynolds perford just as remarkably as Grey and Klaus, although the other three weren't as outstanding as Grey, they were all better than anyone in the sa cultivation stage in the ancient Factions they visited, which showed their terrifying potential.
....
Pyro World.
The central area of the Earth vein.
It has been one month since Grey entered the Earth vein to refine treasures he acquired from Lord Dante.
Grey was currently seated in a cross-legged position, the space orb which was floating before him had disappeared so ti ago. Currently, it was inside his body and was almost fully refined. From Grey's estimate, he should be done in a few hours or so.
An hour later.
Grey's body shook from the sudden influx of strange energy circulating inside him. The energy was quite powerful, but it wasn't enough to place him in any danger. With ease, he quickly dealt with the rampaging energy, using the space elental essence in his body to wrap around the energy and absorb it.
A few minutes later, Grey's body started to exude a strange aura. Looking at him, one would have the vague feeling that he was there and not there at the sa ti. It was a strange feeling. Not only that, he seed like he was standing close, yet very far. As the ti went on, this feeling only grew stronger and stronger.
During this ti, Grey's eyes were closed.
Two days later.
Grey's eyes snapped open, and a dark glow flashed across his eyes. His gaze oozed a sense of profundity, but only for a short few seconds before the feeling disappeared.
When he looked around, he smiled widely as he couldn't hide the joy on his face. He burst into laughter at the thought of what he had just achieved.
A fifth domain!
After completely refining the space orb, he was also able to awaken his space domain. Although he predicted this, it was still a pleasing feeling since there wasn't a certainty that he would be able to awaken his space domain. Having awoken his space domain ant that he currently has five domains.
This was a shocking number of domains for a single individual to have awakened. If news of this spreads, the entire world will be left in a state of shock.
Inside the room, Grey had a thoughtful expression on. He didn't know how long he had been here, and he couldn't help but think if he should stay behind and refine the darkness elental treasure now or leave. His Sixth stage Sovereign cultivation stage has long consolidated and now he was even on the verge of pushing for the peak of the Sixth stage before trying to break through to the Seventh stage.
