Pyro World.
Grey stepped out of the Earth vein resolutely. He didn't have to think about it too much; from his guess, it would take so ti for him to refine the darkness elental treasure, and although it wasn't as powerful as the space elental treasure, it wasn't far behind. This alone isn't enough to make him give up; rather, he knows that his mastery of the darkness elent isn't as high as his space elent. Of the five domains Grey currently has active, the one he rarely uses is his water domain. The reason he was able to quickly awaken it was due to refining a treasure of a Water Elental Dragon. His silver-colored dragon scales are enough to let him guess the affinity of the dragon.
There's a chance that he might be able to awaken his darkness domain if he refines this treasure, but the chances are very low. Other than a small increase in his cultivation, he wouldn't have any significant increase in strength, so he opted to wait until he was confident. After stepping out of the Earth vein, there was soone outside. It's normal for so people to exit seclusion early, so it's only natural that there's soone there to keep track of the people still in the Earth vein.
When Grey stepped out, the person who was outside rushed over to his side. It was a Seventh stage Venerable. When the young man saw Grey's face, he froze in front of him, unable to make any sound.
The young man's strange behavior made Grey a bit uncomfortable and he coughed softly to draw the attention of the young man.
Being woken from his state of stupor, the young man felt a bit embarrassed but hurriedly bowed to greet Grey.
"How long has this place been open to others?" Grey wanted to confirm how long he had been there.
"Two months." The young man replied hurriedly.
Grey didn't expect that he would stay there for this long. The space elental treasure truly is sothing extraordinary. He nodded to the young man before leaving. There was nothing else here for him, and other than most Elentalists, he didn't like staying in retreat for too long, especially in a foreign place. From his days in the Lunar Academy, he has gotten used to always traversing dangerous situations and growing from them. The reason he has grown this much is due to this repeated act, and he didn't have any plans to change his thods. He has barely had any issues with his foundation because he always consolidates his realm after his breakthrough, and in most cases, he does that with battles.
Pyro Hall.
Grey was standing with Faction Leader Bertram in tow, and before him was Lord Dante and three Elders.
Each of these people made Grey feel a shocking level of pressure, he was certain that a single blow from any of them would be enough to wipe him out of existence.
"You want to leave?" Lord Dante's surprised exclamation rang out in the Hall. He never expected that Grey would only stay in the Earth vein for just two months and then choose to leave the Pyro World.
"Forgive ." Grey apologized, seeing the look of hesitation in Lord Dante's eyes, he explained, "I'm not used to staying in one place for too long. If Senior knows about my background, I believe Senior will understand my situation."
Lord Dante squinted his eyes as he looked in Grey's direction. He knew about Grey, and according to the information, there was no knowledge of Grey being part of the Dawson Family, in fact, there was no information about Grey in the Aurora Continent until a few years ago. And when Grey appeared all those years ago, he mostly traveled alone. Only a few years after he rose to fa did his true identity leak.
It's unknown if the Dawson Family were truly ignorant of his existence or not, but it's common knowledge that Grey wasn't trained by the Dawson Family. And from his and his friends' mouths, so people have been able to find out that Grey didn't co from the Aurora Continent, but rather, a smaller Continent that didn't even have half as much essence as the Aurora Continent, and he only ca here by mistake.
"Given the current state of affairs, you know the Gnos will actively try to take action against you. But if you stay here, it's unknown how much growth you'll have made in five to ten years." Lord Dante spoke after so ti.
Grey gave him a deep look before asking with a wry smile, "Does Senior believe we have that much ti?"
Grey's question made Lord Dante pause for so ti; from his eyes, everyone knew his answer, but since he hadn't spoken up yet, they all watched him.
"Indeed, I don't believe ten years is possible." Lord Dante took a deep breath before staring at Grey and adding with a serious expression, "But five years is feasible."
Lord Dante knew that soone like Grey was better left to grow in the dangers of the world. But he couldn't bear to see not just soone he had high hopes for, but soone he felt could most likely break through the barriers of this world and help them pass over the crisis of being invaded.
Grey could tell that Lord Dante was hesitant to let him go most likely cause he valued his talent greatly, and he didn't mind. After all, if not for his mother's slightly unyielding character, there was a good chance that his grandfather would've never let him leave the Lyttelton Family. But in fear of completely ruining the relationship between him and his daughter, who had been gone for such a long ti, the Lyttelton Family Head could only give up.
Now, Grey is in the sa situation again, and there is no way he could leave if Lord Dante didn't want him to go. A thought soon ca to his mind and his confidence increased. Of course, he knew that Lord Dante wouldn't forcefully keep him here, he also felt that if he could help him out with sothing, it would be easier for the other party to let him go.
